I'm completely underwhelmed by the performance of the Blackhawks in their series. Detroit barely made the playoffs, and needed help to do so. It's an old team with little in the way of young and exciting prospects, and with no Nick Lidstrom the defence is kind of weak by NHL playoff standards. What they do have is post-season experience and know-how, and of course the incomparable Pavel Datsyuk.

I'm not going to be one of those dicks who then goes on to predict the cup final just because he thinks he has the conferences figured out. At this point, I favour Chicago though.

The four teams left are also the four previous Stanley Cup winners.
Each match up is going to be so close. This will be a very good Conference finals.
