***2010 CHRISTMAS WEREWOLF***

first @ carrots, when i posted that the SDM wagon was gaining steam i guess i just read you/jkds/SDM (yes SDM voted for him aswell not just you and jkds) voting for him all in a row and wanted to nip that in the bud as i do not think he is a wolf. Look at his post from today, is he really still going to try and keep up some level where he has no clue whats going on either by the game format or by the logistics of what happened last night? Anyone still pushing for a dan lynch is a big suspect imo.

Now even though JKDS only has 3 votes on him (which according to carrots isnt enough to worry about) i think thats moving a little quickly too, nobody has even given any reasoning on lynching him, he was first to post probably the most useful info that we have today, that is that Santa is probably someone who drew some form of heat yesterday. And now everyone wants to lynch him? If we are going to lynch a vet (which i do not think we should as they are likely Seer lookups) then i would much prefer going after warpe, he "hated the kfaess lynch" so much that he voted for someone with 0 votes on him, he keeps pushing this retarded european angle when its just as likely that a european is the seer, he did the "smells like a reg" thing that cocky wolves would do, and he is someone who got multiple votes on day 1 and could be a scared santa. IDK its not much to go off of but its more than we have against JKDS. Sticking with my roid lynch for a while.

Okay Dan is either a villager or has just convinced me with a genius level and lvel of a follow up post.

I do like the idea of lynching one of Warpe or WB at this stage. Not really digging a roid rage lynch at all at the moment.

Philly is also being very active and "helpful" like he was as a vampire and seems pretty interested. His posts are pretty much identical to last game's so far in mood and tone, and I fear he'd be too much of a noob to manufacture this to the same degree of similarity. Going on a bit of a hunch here, but wouldn't mind hearing some more from him.

If Philly seems villagery in defence or this picks up no steam I'm probably happy to lynch WBF or Warpe based on the vet idea. Not really sure why we're lynching JKDS at this point, he'll almost certianly be a look up and hasn't done anything to out of line for me.

Now I've decided Dan would be a pretty bad lynch due to his last posts, I'm looking to open up new leads and angles, so don't get all butt hurt etc if I point a finger at you and you're a villager.

There was no accusation towards Philly at all and yet Philly posts a direct response towards carrot. Yeah it wasn't like hardcore defensive but it just struck me as weird that he would deem it necessary to respond to something like that where he wasn't really threatened.

I'm actually okay with a Philly lynch and though something about JKDS strikes me as off this game (just a feeling) it's not really strong enough to override a rescind JKDS

Fwiw JKDS also seems a bit off to me. Same with Warpe. Doesn't mean we should lynch them but to keep an eye out. Seeing them post more or respond to stuff happening can also clear this up, one way or the other.

Philly looks villagerish to me.. atleast we should let him post more, it should become more apparent whether he's a villager or a wolf lateron.

The thought out detailed nature of your posts is the same as if it's fulled by an enjoyment outwith that of you being a villager. I might be wrong, that's just the vibe I'm getting. I don't quite know why I think you'd be much more vague and brief as a villager, I do think that though, maybe it comes from knowing you a little bit outside of WW.

I have a feeling that the village is just missing wildly here. Day 1 was probably just one big red herring, and I think the best idea is to start from square 1 and only consider the facts.

Fact #1: Rilla died on the first night. This probably points towards a veteran player.
Fact #2: Two bandwagons quickly formed against Dan and Keith on day 1, but with no real purpose, and disappeared just as easily. Since Keith was confirmed to be a villager in his death, this probably exonerates Dan from possibly being a wolf, since the vote pattern towards him was similar. It's probably unlikely that Dan was recruited because he was such a favored target on day 1.
Fact #3: With Keith and Rilla gone, there is one bigtime veteran in this game that's still alive: Warpe. If he is not eaten by the wolves tonight, I would say he's a wolf for sure. I suggest we start a Warpe lynch to see how the other wolves react, as it should tell the village a lot of information.

i think Dan is pulling some sick reverse, reverse, reverse... psychology, and because he has such a good defense he's a pretty prime candidate for a recruit. it seems a bit off but as a rook i don't know if i'm looking to much into it. so untill i learn more about the game I'll go with the obvious which is a good defense by dan,

the vig shooting keith seems like a pretty amature move, so that's one more reason why the wolves might be more reg filled.

its really tough when you have no past experience to draw from but i'm suspicious of carroters he was one of the first to jump on keith wagon,and after that was quite for a bit. from what i've heard keith was fairly good at sniffing out wolves, and when keith mentioned carroters he got pretty defensive(which i guess is normal but..)

gator really seems to be pushing that its not regs, when there's some evidence that it is regs, which makes me suspicious, but again i think i'm reading to much into this. it was between him and warpe, warpe seems more suspicious to me because he's not jumping on a obvious BW which seems opposite of why you should suspect him but it definitely takes some of the focus off him.

I've played this game plenty of times as a villager and have been active in every one...besides the last one (that was my own fault because I was pretty busy with school). As for this game, it's been a pain in the ass to play due to FTR sucking asshole and taking forever to load up a thread.

I think most players can agree that Dan looks wolfy a lot of the time. The way he posts makes him a suspect almost every game he plays in. JKDS and Carroters bold Dan within seven minutes of each other with SDM (the player Carroters has made a point of defending for whatever reason) bolding him later as well. There's nothing "different" about Dan's posts...he simply always looks wolfy. Carroters and JKDS should know better. I'm pretty confident there's a wolf in the Carroters/JKDS/SDM camp.

I really dont see how we're lynching anyone else. We have two options

A) The wolves are stupid, and dont understand that recruiting is better on night 3 or

B) The wolves are scared, and fear santy claws is gonna be lynched

C) The wolves are leveling, and want us to lynch dan or roid

I discount A) considering almost everyone in this game is a veteran with 10+ games. Also realistically, id expect a recruit on night 1 to be more likely than night 2 just because of misinterpretations of the rules. If i were to take a guess, the wolves spent time clarifying these rules with lolz on night 1 which seems like the most likely reason for a 48hr night.

I completely rule out C), and am highly suspicious of people thinking this is an option. Suggesting this is simply preying on the villager's innate fear of being leveled. Think logically: The wolves choose to recruit when its disadvantageous to them...so they need to gain an advantage from it. To be leveling, the advantage would be that Dan/roid dies. However...its likely they would die anyway due to day1's voting and they arent typically considered to be large threats. So the wolves wouldnt gain from having us kill them...so its not gonna be a level. Since im the only one really pushing this...im really the only one that stands to gain credit should i be right. Im a high priority seer target, I dont gain from a few days worth of deception. Levels ruled out.

That leaves B). Reasons to be scared shitless are
-Super reg votes for you, wagon imminent
-you already have a wagon
-you know who the vig is, and they voted for you

How are we not pushing this?

FWIW If I was a wolf there's no way I'd do 90% of this dumb shit I get accused of being one for. Making little mistakes in reading the thread as I launch attacks on people for instance, I think I'd be a lot more careful. If I ever ever get to be a wolf I guess we'll find out!

I gave a clear reason why I didn't think SDM seemed wolfy as people were making out. What I was saying was that DTB's attack on him didn't have a lot of weight and jumping about behavior is something at this stage in the game that I'm pretty sure happens from villagers waymore frequently than wolves, and I still stand by this. I jump about a fair bit myself as a villager.

This wolves must be vets shit is pretty retarded. Anyone knows they should kill off good villagers like rilla. We have no real total noobs here, the ones we have still know enough to realise this. Like wtf, even if it was for some strange reason true that it would take a vet to lynch rilla (absurd proposal) that's still only point to a maximum of one vettaking chrage of the wolves. I'm perplexed to this lynch the vets shit. Although I do think kingnatand Warpe make fairly likely recruits. JV also does, so I'd watch him very closely given how dangerous he can be.

Okay, here is my case against BooG.

1. He's acting very similarly to how he acted in Hoth, speech wise so far and less so to how he acted last game as a villager. His over emphasised posts, placement of caps and sentence strcture are very similar to in Hoth.

2. He just used the exact same type of cast the suspicion elsewhere post as he used in Hoth. In Hoth, he constantly set a bunch of guys to target "The Dan/Don group" as he called it. In this game these were two guys I strongly felt were villagers and hence became even more suspicious of BooG. In this game he's using this SDM, myself, JKDS group. This is what he does, as a wolf, he casts away people eyes to a multitude of targets that he can somehow link as a "group." This takes off limelight by instead of targetting one person, offering an array of alternatives such that one of them is statistically likely to be preferred to himself as a lynch candidate.

3. In Hoth he made a very clear point of abstaining from fighting back at me by accussing me when I attacked him. Here I beleive he thinks I'll recognise this/or assume a wolf BooG would never just attack me back. Either that or I'm just convinioent to attack due to being able to fall into one of his "groups"

He'll tell you he's extremely balacned all the time, always appears this game etc etc, but he's human like the rest of us. We're all prone to make these errors and can't help what our subconcious does when taking on a distinct role, be it wolf or villager. We cancover our tracks but inbalacne will show in sublte ways at least. Go back and read Hoth then read last game and tell me there's a balacne there. Tell me which one of these this game is far more resembling of.

This is the best shit I have so far, and I'm not comfortable with any of the other wagons that are going on. With Philly, I'm still kind of meh he could well be a wolf. Wapre just looks like a total shot in the dark. There;s loads of other guys that could have been recruited. You're targetting a vet for a likelyhood of filling 1 position out of the whole field (not 5) he'll also be a likely seer look up. For this reason I hate this wagon and am also kind of suspicious of some of those on it.

I urge you to consider this shit against BooG. Getting a wolf this early would be awesome and I think he's the best bet right now. Btw not trying to "lead" the village like I get accussed of from Hoth, just feel strongly about BooG in the exact same way I did last time. Follow if you agree, not just because I'm making a big rant.

I'm kind of wary of JV's "are you a wolf again?" line. I think if Boogturns out to be a villager JV could be trying to induce me to start a wagon on him givewn BooG's just given me heat, I like to go after BooG etc. That's just something I wanna throw out there at anearly stage, although it's probably nothing to worry about as i think BooG's a wolf.

I'm getting an overall weird vibe from the discussions going on. This could be because some of the regs are wolves and pushing their own agendas rather than playing on the village team. Or I could be seeing things. But right now boog and warpe are my prime suspects, I'll band on either depending which wagon takes on best.

I'm pretty much on board with JVs list. Dan's last post about JV has me wondering why I ever doubted lynching him. If that band wagon comes back I'll be all over it. I'm gonna think about the 3 on JVs list and figure out which one I want to bold. Right now JKDS is really freaking me out and as much as losing him as a villager would suck, keeping him alive as a wolf would suck that much more.

I wish people would stop completely disregarding my posts, but what can ya do?

Anyways, I've been pushing for a BooG vote from the beginning, so I'll be interested to see where this goes.

I'm a wolf because I cast suspicion in groups? Isn't that the obvious thing to do since the wolves are a TEAM and there isn't just ONE wolf? One way of spotting wolves is by spotting players that seem to be playing together. Defending others will always raise suspicion. I bolded SDM because he just seemed to have blindly followed JKDS in bolding Dan. I think it's fairly obvious that Dan is a villager, especially with thinking this game was two teams (Dan's not going for this level as a wolf, let's be serious).

A Dan bandwagon is a real easy bandwagon to get going apparently, even when it should be obvious he's a villager. Again, we should be looking at the people that tried re-opening that bandwagon for a quick & easy lynch. I'm confidently sticking with my Carroters vote.

I hate the reason people lynch someone is 'so and so's logic seems good.' I probably did it when I was a noob too, but go back and read and draw your own conclusions. It's really really easy to get misled if you just get spoonfed everything about the game from other people. They will purposefully leave stuff out, twist words, etc to make their point seem valid.

Not saying JKDS did this, but go form your own opinion ffs.

I discount A) considering almost everyone in this game is a veteran with 10+ games. Also realistically, id expect a recruit on night 1 to be more likely than night 2 just because of misinterpretations of the rules. If i were to take a guess, the wolves spent time clarifying these rules with lolz on night 1 which seems like the most likely reason for a 48hr night.

I completely rule out C), and am highly suspicious of people thinking this is an option. Suggesting this is simply preying on the villager's innate fear of being leveled. Think logically: The wolves choose to recruit when its disadvantageous to them...so they need to gain an advantage from it. To be leveling, the advantage would be that Dan/roid dies. However...its likely they would die anyway due to day1's voting and they arent typically considered to be large threats. So the wolves wouldnt gain from having us kill them...so its not gonna be a level. Since im the only one really pushing this...im really the only one that stands to gain credit should i be right. Im a high priority seer target, I dont gain from a few days worth of deception. Levels ruled out.

That leaves B). Reasons to be scared shitless are
-Super reg votes for you, wagon imminent
-you already have a wagon
-you know who the vig is, and they voted for you

I've been running the same exact lines this entire game, and none of them are taking off, which is basically this kind of line. We're not pushing this because he's a wolf. Same reason Dan and Keith wagons were off the chain, because they're both villagers. At this point I almost can't vote for somebody like boog since he's getting so much attention. And the logic about Santy recruit due to heat implicates either kingnat or roid in my mind, neither of whom are getting much attention

I don't like how everybody is ignoring kingnat, but I think I'm going out on a limb and calling him a villager due to lack of participation. I think all the wolves are posting and trying to slyly call the shots.

I think there is a stark difference between two and three team games that can be found in the baddies playing more influential roles in directing the lynching since they're unified in a two team game.

Having said that, I think I'm going to sit this one out. I'll leave my kingnat vote the way it is, but I want to lynch everybody except Dan at this point since I'm coming down solid on him being a villager for the same reason I did with Keith. I even wanna gut JV or other sly regs due to Dan's look at who would be recruited.

So I'm confused as shit, and think maybe people should look at why some wagons are going off while others are not getting any attention. The wolves are all up in our shit in this, don't let them control how it goes down. Part of me thinks the correct strategy may be to ignore all the big wagons so far (except one based on the Day 2 recruit logic) and just go after those who haven't had wagons take off. That would include me given the only vote I've gotten comes from somebody who didn't play last game, but I think we can guess why nobody's trying to lynch me yet

Which makes me think, I wanna know why the wolves didn't recruit me. Not like I want to be a wolf, but I just know my WW schtick is going to be the guy who sucks at everything yet still can't get lynched due to mega awesome defense poasts amirong

Fair point I did read JKDS's post and then decide to lynch you without rereading the thread. I'll do that now and try to draw some conclusions.

No one in this thread is following anyone's logic. Thats the problem, not the reverse. There are maybe 6 different bandwagons going on because everyone thinks theyre a super soul reader and everyone's too scared of being attacked to bandwagon.

This problem actually causes a much larger problem for the village during late game as well. If no one can start a bandwagon then no one is accountable for their votes.

Im gonna go ahead and abandon my reasoning since no one cares to bandwagon it. SDM's takes a super nonstandard "always behave like a wolf" line instead of 'always behave like a villager'...and its hurtful to the village. Its beneficial to get rid of players that act only in their self interest anyway (lets avoid villagers claiming their special roles when they arent). Warpe and gator want him gone. The above is good enough for me.

Basically we need to pick a line and go with it for now.

Let's ask ourselves a couple questions:

1.) Are the wolves leading the charge? Possibly, probably at least one is an active poster.
2.) Are they laying low? I'm pretty sure at least 2 are posting almost not at all because they can get away with it so far. Take into account icanhastreebet barely posts, fulksy isn't very active, Galapagos isn't posting much, DC hasn't done dick, etc. So many people are getting away with being quiet. Granted its still Day 2, so I'm not going to harp on this too much, but for sure at least 1-2 wolves aren't posting reguarly.

We can't forget about Santa. Whoever it is probably is posting, but not too often as to provoke suspicion. A number of people fit this bill, including BooG. Which is why I'm voting for him. If you go back and look through his posts, he started off in Night 1/early early Day 1 posting often, then he cast a vote and went silent basically through the end of the day. Today he's been a lot more active because he's getting a little pressure.

out of them i think JKDS and probably boog are villagers. I'm not getting the same "off" vibe as everyone else from JKDS, and Boog because i think he legitimately thought there was 2 teams at the beginning, and he had a pretty good defense post in terms of the stuff carrots was saying.

I have a pretty long suspect list right now. 3bet is posting the exact same as last game and could easily be a wolf, i could easily get going in that direction. He clearly fits the bill of someone acting only in their self interest. At the end of the game we are not going to have shit to go off of from him. A couple others i am skeptical of-

Warpe- the way he didnt even mention the fact it was a double post seemed like he was trying to subtly make me look bad...also fits scared santa bill that could explain recruiting on night 2...however this would be too high of a risk for a day 2 lynch and is definitely not the direction i want to go today.

Roid- Kept calling game a clusterfuck, reminds me of gator doing it in dune and getting pwned by BLR, also fits scared santa bill. Also wtf posting so much that something has to be up.

DC- reasons i outlined earlier about how he is just pushing for vets and snap bw'ing, also flying under radar.

Carrots- not really got anything on him but, seems like hes trying to be the new keith with these long winded posts that dont say much. And he has gone after people i think are villagers (me/dan/boog) and defended people i think are wolves (SDM/Roid)

SDM- Between what DTB/Roid/Gator have pointed out about him and the fact he is on the suspect list of 3 of the top players imo, i am comfortable with lynching him. Also he acts in self interest, like JKDS said (and i pointed out last game), so it is a low risk play because the loss isnt great if we do miss.

There's two things here:
1. He's an easy target. That however does not necessarily mean it will be wolves pushing for his kill, but it *is* something wolves like. And they'll happily oblige.
2. This is more in reply to what JKDS said which you took over (I think you're villager Philly, atleast atm), saying "he sux anyway" which sounds a lot like covering one's ass when SDM comes up a villager. Which I'm pretty sure he will.

And everyone is afraid to lynch a vet "because they are good" but the reverse is also true: they'll be ten times more dangerous as a wolf than a sucky player who drew a wolf.

ill happily lynch anyone who wants warpe dead on day 2. The seer almost always looks warpe up. The seer isnt dead. QED, we'll know warpe's role exactly later on in the game. Killing him is stupid, and people that want him lynched are very likely to be wolves.
