The Pats should cover Heath Miller better.
no shit. i'm about to throw myself off a balcony the next time he catches a pass
think i should just post on that other forum when it's football time =(
HEY MIGHT WANNA BLOCK THAT LAMARR WOODLEY GUY. I HEAR HES PRETTY GOOD
gostowski almost gave me a fucking heart attack on that one
Pats lucky to be in this one, game has been lopsided.
Good plan by LeBeau imo. Playing zone against the Pats seems silly.
please direct me to the nearest suicide booth. pats getting completely exposed this week
I'll be joining you if the Iggles lose to the girls tonight.
Tim Tebow is unbelievably bad
And refs fucking up that Gronkowski call cost us a lot of time.
ONE TIME DEFENSE ONE TIME
lemme emphasis ONE TIME DEFENSE
lions win, pats lose fml

Packers + 25
(everyone else)
Lots of things looked real good for the Steelers this week. Still unsettling that you really need to put the Pats away because Tom Brady is so good at throwing footballs.
It's pretty tilting to watch Romo and the chick sideline reporter talk about the Cowboys' rookie running backs as if they're a big liability when one of them just ran for 250 yards.
IGGLES
Biggest crowd reaction all game may have been when referee announced that Andy Reid had gotten two challenges correct.
Obviously best performance of season for Eagles. Maybe their best performance in years.
-- Vick played in control and didn't force it. Cowboys were determined to take away Maclin/DJax, so he got the ball to Celek/Avant across the middle.
-- Shady's national coming out party. I've said for a while there's not a back I'd rather have (for this team).
-- Clearly, the O-line deserves a ton of credit when the QB and RB have flawless games. They did a great job on Ratliff. DeMarcus Ware is probably the best defensive player in the game and had little impact despite 4 sacks (two were Vick scrambles for -1). Peters had some huge key blocks early.
-- The defense played great. For the first time in memory, Jason Witten didn't have a huge game. Dez Bryant and Miles Austin were complete nonfactors.
Patriots offense so bad right now. How do you miss a 27 yard fg?
GO CHIEFS! oh wait...
what the fuck is wrong with you brady?
....
One job, Eddelman, one job...

TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOWWWWWWW
I think that was a bs pass int call
Oh boy, having to rely on this defense is scary...
there is not enough rum in the world to drown the pain of these last two weekends in football
Sorry lukkie. Y'all just made it *too* easy to not stomp all over you. <3
AND HELL YES GIANTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SS WOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH. Keeping that AFC south #1/#2 seed open for the TEXAAAAAAAAAAAANSSSSSSSSSSSS
wtf can't you guys ever do us a favor? Jints were without No. 1 WR and RB ffs.
One of the most inexplicable games of the year: Miami 31, KC 3.
Usually when you see a bad team beat a decent team, there's a bunch of wacky turnovers, special teams TDs, etc. But it wasn't the case here. Seems the Dolphins just utterly dominated the line of scrimmage the whole game. Weird stuff.
I knew God Mode would not last for ever with Brady but I did not expect him to transition from GOAT mode to WOAT mode.
That holding call on BAL was pretty thin.
I wouldn't worry about Brady. His QBR is 99%, he's on pace for 36 touchdowns. But bad games happen even to great quarterbacks when you're not really well balanced as a team. Instead of going 20 games or so without a bad game, he's down to 6-1 or so.
Eager to see Eagles give the Lions a little more of an edge in the standings ahead of the Da Bears tonight. And then see the Lions wtfpwn them at Soldier Field and totally crush any hopes of a WC spot.
@Lee, here's a cool statistic about a certain player from the University of Texas at Austin.
Yes, I'm talking about Mr. Phil Dawson :D
I heard this on the Radio earlier, but apparently he is 8-10 on FGs from the year, 2 were blocked in the SEA game and were completely the fault of the protection, but other than that he's 8-8 and his SHORTEST field goal is from 47 yards away.
IGGLESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Wow that first half was terrible. Season's over if they lose tonight.
Eagles season over imo. That was a lot of sturm and drang for nothing.
They need to run the table and 11-5 might not do it because they lose tiebreakers to the Giants, Bears and Falcons.
Pats also over. No defense. No running game.
The Bill Walton Trip
Today the Eagles have installed their Penn State offense: plug in a convict to lead the charge & embarrass themselves in front of millions.

WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO.
Never thought they'd pull it off, but with the Seahawks beating the Ravens today, WE ARE THE #1 TEAM IN THE AFC. WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
lol Baltimore.
WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I still say a safety should be a defensive touchdown. 2 points + possession is nowhere near enough of a reward for such a rare and difficult play.
no sir. 2 pts is too many, esp when called against the pats. i would say the team that causes the safety against the pats should lose several points for putting TOM BRADY in danger.
i'm torn on what i think about the patriots defense this game. dirty sanchez hasn't made any his usual dirty mistakes
gronkowski is such a beast
possibly one of the best drives ive seen engineered in a long time
This season will be worth it if we can get Reid fired and get Gruden or Cowher imo.
hope is kindled, and the footsissys put back in their rightful place.
all is well in the universe atm
wow thats sick. Looks like that juke Trent Richardson did a few weeks ago
Lions.
:(
the sadface seems less sad as i imagine verlander informing ensign lee giving him this information and then laughing about it
MATT LEINART
i really wish i could find the espn the magazine commercial with him in it
Watching that Lynch run live, I really thought he was going to lean into Lewis and just take the yardage before he juked out of it for the win. It's shameful that he's 10x better than Shaun Alexander and hasn't had 1/100th the career.
dear pre game MNF people. remove rodgers penis from your mouth region. thx
I'm glad I'm a diehard, born and bred GB fan.
I feel terribly for Lee about Schaub being possibly/likely out for the season.
You can take a hit to any other position on your team but few, if any teams in the NFL can replace good quarterback play. If he's truly out then hopes of the Texans winning a playoff game are basically shot.
See the Colts season for what a good QB means to a team. The Pats' '08 season was a huge aberration given that the '07 team was historically good and they had a ridiculously easy schedule in '08 (the same seasons where the Dolphins made up 15(!) games to win the division.)
Maybe Leinart has an epiphany, but I doubt it.
Notable wins in postseason with backup QBs:
2001 Pats over Pittsburgh -- obviously Bledsoe was an 8-year starter, he also didn't play well in the game
1992 Bills -- won 2 playoff games with Frank Reich. There was the famous comeback from 35-3 vs. Houston and Reich played great in a 24-3 win over Pittsburgh the next week. Reich also played most of the Super Bowl against Dallas after Kelly got hurt, both threw 2 picks in the 52-17 debacle.
1990 Giants -- won the Super Bowl with Jeff Hostetler at QB. Hostetler took over for Phil Simms, who was probably having the best year of his career when he got hurt late in the season.
At least Leinart has played in big games before, but I wouldn't be optimistic.
I actually think Houston will be "ok" with Leinart in at QB. They're not going to need him to throw for 300 yeards and 3 TDs a game to win.
They actually have a pretty good team around him and can certainly run the ball down people's thoats. Getting Johnson back soon should help out(assuming he is coming back soon).
I think if the coaches just ask him to be a game manager then as a team the Texans should be ok, granted I don't see them competing for a SB with Leinart but stranger things have happend.
TIM TEBOW

Tim Tebow magical touchdown run against the Jets - YouTube
i was converted a long time ago and to any haters left, how can you not love this kid? he gives it his all and more every week and genuinely wants to win more than anyone i've ever seen in my life except mebbe prefontaine. and whats more this kid does it with everyone laughing in his face. say what you will about him being an awful qb but 4-1 is very impressive. now you might say special teams and defense but when the game is on the line late in the 4th the late drives have been all Tebow and he's always came through.
Let's be honest, Rex just got into football coaching for the foot. Time to quit this job and go back to being a shoes salesmen
Holy crap TEEEEBOWWWWW. WoW.
And yes, :cut: at Leinart.
That drive was one of the most amazing things I've seen in football.

Time for Elway to think post-Tebow - AFC West Blog - ESPN
the article, notsomuch. the comments though...
So when Suh isn't throwing QBs down by their helmet 5 seconds after the play, or bragging to the media over and over again about how he is being unfairly targeted because he is so strong, or going to the league office because he can't understand basic rules, he is stomping on opponents... nice. Waiting for the Lions homers to not so kindly explain to me why I'm wrong, a hater, or in other humorous terms.

Ndamukong Suh Ejected for kicking Packers player (Dietrich-Smith) during Thanksgiving Game - YouTube
dirtiest play since Haynesworth's face stomp, IMO Albert got off light on that one. Suh should get a multi game suspension.
also, hell of a defensive game in the night cap here
think goodell might have let him off lighter had suh apologized instead of the 'naaaah i didnt do shit'
