Well if that's the case, all three of those teams looked pretty shitty in week 1. Saints and Vikings had sparks of talent but overall couldn't get anything going in match. Cowboys were the same way. I think the packers make a better case than either of them so far. However, it's just week 1. When the patriots are 16-0 we can talk about how awesome Tom Brady is.Quote:

honestly, week 1 is so overrated. granted, it counts the same in the standings as any other week, but in recent years i've found that week 1 is the least indicative of any week regarding how well teams are going to be prepared and perform throughout the season.
i'd prefer to face a very good team in week 1. it's probably the best chance for an upset.

The Chiefs, yes THE CHIEFS, are 2-0 and leading the division. Both wins have been U-G-L-Y, for sure, but being able to say we're 2-0 is definitely awesome if not very weird. San Francisco coming to town on Sunday--a 3-0 start is definitely possible.
Matt Cassel has looked BAD so far, and I think our defense isn't as strong as it's appeared (shut down San Diego in sloppy conditions and took care of a bad Browns team led by a back-up QB)...I don't know how long they can keep this facade going, but it'll be fun while it lasts. This city has waited a while to have a team to root for...
