I can't see the picture spoon posted near the top of the page, what happened? Did spoon change one of the options to himself? Then push him self to #1?

There's a "Do Not Select This Answer" option, which spoon gave 10,000 votes.
It didn't let me vote for what I'm sure was more than 24 hours, but I've put in what must be my allowed vote. Best of luck!
And if you ever again need a large-ish group of people who get overly competitive easily, you know where to find us ;)
+399 not too shabby, fellas.

I liked the idea of putting a picture of the vote count with a time stamp as proof if Christina tries anything fishy...so here's mine.
Eastern Time
i just made it 3449
You should all be ashamed of yourselves for associating a poor innocent boy with online gambling. And for trying to solicit votes from people whose first language isn't English. This isn't some multi-cultural funzone, people, this is Christina's magazine contest.
ok ...we are ....did you vote?...........OMG check my post count associated with this reply that I'm now associating with this poor innocent kid.
Voted. Good luck.
:O! Finally proof that either Koreans or poker are evil.Quote:

Thinly veiled link building scheme for FTR??? The comments are pretty funny though.
3508 to 3077
last vote for me

Server error. They're currently rigging it.
Vote +10. Wouldn't be surprised to see Christina have a miracle comeback at like ~11:55.
We're up by ~500 guys. Keep the votes coming. Don't quit now in the home stretch. I'm guessing 4.5 more hours to go!!!
I've been voting when my busto computer has allowed it. We're still ahead by ~500... GLGL!!!
Looks like votes are at a standstill. WOOT WOOT.
A big thank you to everyone! Your votes were definitely appreciated. I still don't get why they couldn't just be nice and say positive things about who they were voting for. Thanks again! Hope to see you all in Vegas!
Gentlemen, we've done the impossible. We've won an internet poll!
Nice work, everyone! You are all competitive freaks.
It's the Interwebs. People can't resist the e-drama.Quote:

FTR is the new 4chan?
I won but they cheated. :(
you won, by helping nate win :DQuote:

This is rigged, I had over 10k votes deleted!
I want a tutorial on how you did it.
It's ridiculously easy. There's a script floating round, just use google.

The reason it works is that the polling plug-in uses two pieces of information to try to keep duplicate votes going in. The first is a cookie (which the script makes and then dumps over and over so it's useless), and the second is checking IPs. The problem is that it doesn't actually ever check what IP the request came from, just the IP you tell it the request is coming from in the headers you send.
So the script is basically like ohai I'm random.random.random.random where random is 0-255 and the script is like okay your vote counts.
Congrats Nathan
hooray for FTR being more than a useless bunch of degens!
congrats Nathan, best cover won!
