People are often mocking your lenghty posts, I.e HiIamWufwugy. I really enjoy all your posts, and never understood why on earth someone would make fun of them. I assumed, until now, it was an internal forum joke. No one else seem to have the same depth of thinking, at least not in their posts.
I guess we all have different motivations for posting here. Some are here for fun, others to learn about poker and some are here to have deep philosophical discussions etc.
I was contemplating some reasons for why your very interesting posts were being mocked. I think it is an intellectual inferiority complex. They have trouble understanding and know they can not reply with the same level of depth. Since they have two options- either accept you are superior in terms of intellectual thought, or reject you as a "nerd" and attack your vulnerable spots- your feelings.
You say you have several personalities- yet no disorder. I think this is just a sign of a complex individual with an open mind. Identity is a complex issue, and the more we think about it the more obvious it becomes that is something negotiable. Some people live their entire life truly believing they are like this or that- and they become that person.
When we are aware that we can negotiate our identity, we give ourselves the power to create whatever person we want to be. There are limitations of course, and things like environment and genetics is outside our controll, but we can chose our environment to some extent.
Disorder is such a negative laden word, and I do not consider myself having a disorder. Different yes, but we are all different from eachother. That makes me just as "normal" as anyone.

Ofcourse, some people choose to be vegatarian because they do not want to kill animals. If they have this benevolence towards animals, I think they also have that towards humanity- since we are animals too.
Testosterone does not make one unfriendly. When I was doing bodybuidling I met some of the nicest people you can imagine. Just think about Fedor Emalianenko and how nice a person he is.
I just said that vegatarian diets have different effects on mind and body than a diet including meat. You will never bench press 330KG without fish and meat, and you will never reach Buddha like mental clarity after eating a nice T-bone steak.

True, testosterone does not make you unfriendly... that wasn't really what I was saying. But a lack of testosterone might lower your aggression levels and influence how willing you are to be confrontational, a lower confrontational level = more docile... thus more likely to be benevolent and friendly since you want to avoid confrontation.

As towards being nice to animals... well... I love animals, I also am a carnivore. While that may seem like a contradiction to some, I don't necessarily see all animals equal. Some animals are food, some are not. All animals can be though, to at least some predator, be it man or other animals.
Yet if you look at the animal world through the bible view, they were put here for us, at least that is what they taught me in Sunday School.
I am a little unclear on your Buddha comment. Are you saying monks avoid meat to improve mental clarity?
I guess I'm fuzzy on how meat affects your mental clarity as a whole, not understanding why eating something your body was designed to eat would have negative effects on mental clarity? Now I could see the impurities or the chemical additives in today's meat as effecting it, but meat in general?

Monty- I am no expert on the issue about the relation of diet and mental clarity.
But Jesus, Buddha, and Dalai Lama, Mahathmi Gandhi and many others spiritual leaders practiced vegetarianism and also periodical starvation as a metyod of freeing them from mundane cravings like sex and food.

I knew about the starvation thing, i didn't know about vegatarianism in Buddha, I knew about it in Ghandi though... but I wonder... would it have made that big of a difference?

Vegetarianism doesn't lower testosterone, and if it did it would be BAD. Low test is not good at all for dudes; it correlates with so many disorders
Diets that lower testosterone are ones that lack essential nutrition, and AFAIK, vegetarian diets do not inherently lack essential nutrition. However, that doesn't mean that some dumbfuck vegetarians don't know what the fu.ck they're doing and eat a shitty diet.
True, but it is more difficult for vegatarians to get all the essential nutrients needed to produce T, like saturated fats and vitamin D.
We need to separate between "good" and "bad" vegetarians. People eating only lettuce is different from someone cooking up culinary dishes regularly with lots of different ingredients.

Absolutely. There is also a mind-body correlation, and not everything can be fixed through diet, training and sunshine.
I forgot to mention cholesterole being hugely important.
Some foods which are great: Eggs, broccoli, cauliflower, meat, fish, shrimps, omega-3 supplements.
Sunshine is most important of all though, both literally and figuratively.
