move up to waffles when you're rolled for it
French toast and popeye's toast are in the nosebleed stakes.
I´ll stick with pancakes for now. Actually, I´m gonna have some more in a minute ;)
My non-SD line took a huge dip today. I´m focusing as much as possible on bluffing opportunities and hence spew badly now and then. Overall it´s still a good month, I run great in PFAI flips and am still very happy with FTP. I haven´t got in more than 15k hands so far, due to uni and stuff, but as long as I´m banking some its okay.
Spew #1. Taggish person in UTG. I could like my play, had I a read, that he can fold overpairs, otherwise its not very smart to float on two outs oop.

#3 insta 4bet to 43? odd... That's like pot and one click down? You have to love getting a fold there.
Yea, I do stupid things at times, but so do others. Todays sesh was completely fucked up on my part.
#1 Fwiw, the BB was quite squeeze happy, hence flatting pre. Checking turn is probably the dumbest play I´ve made in a while, but I was so stunned by him overcalling when I was expecting UTG to 3ball shove like always.

Bottom line: Recent session could have been break even at least, hadn´t I made god awful plays.
2. There has to be a read in there somewhere, right?
4. Do you search for this guy every time you log on?
5. Kind of transparent on a dry board, but standard. If he's got a bigger set, fuck it you're broke. If these are your godawful plays, I don't know that this swing is anything but variance.
Ya, hand #1 & #2 fit that category.
I played a huge session this morning to pass time until my oral exam at 2p. Actually 1.3k hands in one session is by far the biggest session I´ve played in a while.
#1 Kinda donkish person with v wide preflop ranges and kinda erratic postflop play. He check raised me before with total air and with something strongish, I haven´t played a memorable river with him.

1) When I'm at the table I call this tourette's syndrom poker. Usually the spaz on the river is a big hand, so fold for sure.
2) You wanna punch nutsinho? A smallish 3bet followed by calling a 4bet... unless you've gotten out of line recently with the preflop agro, I have to believe you're beat. I think I'd pause and check/fold and reeval the turn.
3) Fold river. Unless he was on a pure bluff on the flop and decided to 3 barrel he has to have us beat.
4) Shitty turn, but wheee anyway, unless he flopped the nuts we got it in good.

#1: Std
#2: This is BvB. Do you think you can get him to fold 99+, 8x? His stats shows that he might a bit stationary and he might even call with 66. The river is one of the worst cards to bluff, IMO.
#3: SPR is near 2.5-2.6 so v this donk he can do this with KK/AQ/QT/JT/TT, a part from the hands that beat us: QJ/QQ/JJ/99/J9/Q9
#4: Really tough spot ... if we put 99+,Ahxh (x>T) I guess we are about 70/30 behind? so need something like pot odds of at least 2.4-1 and we having $211 - $127 = 1.66 - 1. So fold ...
2) You're repping a busted flush draw really well.
3) My first thought is that it's a power min-raise so it's a big hand, but then it's also a big donk, so I think pretty much anyone goes broke with aces here.
4) I think this is a bigger pair like 90% of the time.
So things have been going really well lately. When I opened this thread I was about to write something like "oh noes I run hawt, Im scared that bad things will happen to me" but apparently thats not the case. In todays sessions I happened to run in god mode, but overall it seems like Im just doing better than before. I managed to cut my nonSD losses in half and actually have decent streaks, where the red line does not drop over several k hands. Prob to some degree just a FT thing, where games play way less aggro than ongame´s, the sweet software doesnt tilt me as much and Im table selecting better than before. Compared to ongame table and seat selection is way easier, b/c empty seat actually are empty and not just appear emtpy until you try to sit down.
I feel bad for not studying anything regarding poker atm, but I have two exams to take until Wed and will prob start reading and watching vids again when those are thru.
Hand 1 32/27ish player. He has been 3betting a lot at the beginning and I built my stack thru him, when he called his stack off on a T high bd flush vs my A high.

1 - I like the line, but I might bet even less on the river. I don't like a turn bet because we hate life if he moves in.
2 - std.
3 - I call. He's bad, but bad enough to call a raise with a worse hand? I think he has us beat at least 50% of the time anyway.
Also, the bet size seems like a bluff.
April is still going goot. I think I can play some 1/2nl soon enough, I just want to finish my exams before I can fully focus on poker again. I had an okay morning session and an awesome bike session yesterday. Snow and ice are melting and trail after trail becomes rockable again, so we went to a bikepark nearby and got our downhill training for this season started. It took me a while to get used to the new bike and I was amazed how fast that thing is going when u stay off the brakes. British craftsmanship ftw. The guy I went riding with is incredibly fast and I learned quite a lot about choosing lines and cornering. I pussied out when I came to the final jump, which is a high speed 36 foot gap and I feel really bad about it. Next time Im gonna make it, promised. I already have enough speed when Im coming out of the forrest and have the technique to pull such jumps (I usually take jumps this big, when there´s no gap between the transition and the landing), I´m just having a mental blockade.
So Im finally done with exams and stuff. I gotta write two termpapers on the reliabilty of elctric networks and another on local power production before Im taking up my internship during summer. Yet, there will be enough time to log a decent number of hands until then. Recent days were swingy swongy, but overall okay despite some major spews.

So Im still having a decent pokermonth. I cut my session length to 60 mins and seem to do better this way. Actually, I dont have a set time limit, I just quit when I start browsing FTR or pron while playing, which is usually after 60 - 80 mins. Otherwise Im doing okay, Im grinding a "solid" tagfishy 20/18 style and so far people cant or dont want to exploit me. Im less FPSy and if Im doing weird it mostly on the turn, where FE is usually quiet high.
I had an awesome day yesterday going downhill riding. I cant emphasize enough how sick the new machine is. Pick your line and go dor it, no matter what might be in your way. Roots, rock gardens, f all ya hoes! We´re gonna go rocking another bikepark today and maybe we´ll get to take some pics so I could share my awesomeness with you.

Not much poker for me lately as I´ve been busy with rocking the trails and building/shaping. Yesterday was again amazing as we went to one of europe´s largest bikeparks. Went there with a couple of pro racers who again showed me how to go really fast and how it´s all about picking the right line. No worries about how to carry speed thru the turns, when u can go almost straight thru left/rights if u catch the right spot to jump. I did a 10ft road gap which felt pretty good, over all my progress makes me very happy.
Im gonna play some FT now and will prob post hands later.
And btw, the new "Mando Diao" LP is really good.
Poker went meh yesterday. I feel like Im only making money by coolering the shit out of everybody and being a lucky bumhunter. This is really bad, as the next "cold run" is going to be one of those extra ugly "XTR-drops-2k-in-a-week"-things if I continue to play like this. Good thing is I realize how poor Im playing although Im in the green, bad thing is I dont know what changed over the last 5k hands. Im gonna drop to 4 tables for now and focus a lot more on not-autopiloting.
Last night I went downtown watching Crank 2 in the theater. Some people like Jason Statham, some dont, but theat movie was the shit. Regardless of a retarded story line and meh sfx, the music, cut and camera were the best I had seen this year. Also, I like Amy Smart

We went to a bar after the movie, where I instantly fell in love with the girl bringing us beer. Unfortunately do I always crush on non-tanned tiny blondes who rarely have spent more than 17 yrs on this planet .Not that I had a strong preference for underaged girls or something, it just seems like that the older you get, the less skinny girls in your age are seen. I suppose Id either have to hit a one outer in finding a skinny, cool and smart girl which isn´t too young OR I get rich soon enough, so I can hit on girls who are easily impressed by a BMW or something like that. Also, I have to out more than once a month again.
edit: I forgot to mention that I´ve discovered skinny fit jeans which are fucking awesome and make you feel like a rockstar

hand 2 looks pretty bad i'd check fold flop, but admittedly this is a spot where I'm not confident.
hand 3 is a shitty spot.. i dont know. I'd be suprised if you were way ahead here.
1. You played this hand terrible.
2. I pretty much just save these kinds of moves for when I'm in position. Checking to him on the river sucks, but him checking to you on the river RoXoRz j00.
3. I fucking hate it when they minraise there... but I play it the same as you did.
P.S. nice to see you at 200nl again
P.S.S. r8'd
I'd see a turn on hand 3 tbh. If you're ahead on flop its not by much.
Hand 2 I'd like a read on his psb c-bet. If thats his standard thing then fine, if not then its usually protection for a good hand and I dont like it as he rarely folds.
Yea I gotz 5 spados :D
That TT is pretty much fucked up. I would 3bet TT more than 40%, but I feel like Im missing too much value vs players who dont perceive me to be light there. Postflop is just a classic spew, as no one ever folds a pair/FD to that donkish CR.
I didnt have a read on the psb, as a default I usually take it as weakness trying to look strong.
200nl was just a short adventure. I got pwned hard yesterday before I went in the woods for downhill practice. By pwned hard I mean soulpwnedextrahard.
Kinda sucks, as I feel very unmotivated to play poker atm. The game bores me, it has become nothing more than a part time job that I have to do to pay for my summer adventures in arabia and the planned trip to france. I am already calculating, how much of my roll I´ll need to pay for flight tickets and stuff and came up with "not much left after that" and it doesnt bother me at all. Im only two inches away from withdrawing everything, buying parts for my bike and throwing in an extra trip to sea by may and be done with poker after that.
Hmmm. I still dont feel like playing. This I-dont-like-pokaz isn´t new or anything, but that I consider quitting while being in the green is.
I moved up from pancakes to seafood. I always loved eating fish and now I begin to learn how to cook it myself. I took the easy road with tuna steaks and it tasted v well. Some lemon, salt, pepper and a bit of rosemary - there you go. Dont fry it too long, since tuna gets dry quickly.
I went to the skateyard this afternoon with my 24" and had a decent session. The place was totally crowded with kids on cheap BMX and stakedoarbs and I almost ran one of them over more than once. You just can´t spot a 12yo on a tiny bike behind the obstacles. However, I ran good with a couple of 360 taps and one-hand and x-up airs and suddenly I became a hero for the youngsters. I wonder if teaching kids how to air the pyramide will enable me to hit on their mom´s.
Also, "The Ting Tings" make awesome music. Yes. Listen.

Very little poker. I tried donking some 2nl on my massive pstars roll and got tilted within 2 minutes for no apparent reason. I shouldn´t be playing, so I don´t. The hu match vs kmizzle was a good match and i picked up the right hands in the right spots. It could have gone either way, this time i was the luckier person. I had a hard time dealing with him 4betting me a fuckton, but rarely had a hand that would cause me trouble.
Im gonna be playing a 5nl home game tonight, solely for socializing/drinking purposes. The host managed to invite two braindead 100nl fr shortstacker, gonna be fun.
Also, to make up for the time I usually "waste" playing poker I got me a PS2. Ill head to the electronics store in a minute to buy games, looking for Risk, GT2, Tekken 3 and BurnOut2. I like it oldschool. Game recommendations are welcome.
So everybody have a crazy weekend!

I used to play madden for moniez. Last year I even bought a ps3 just for madden then sold it when the NFL season was over. I hear there's $ in the nba simulators too tho. Just find cocky ex-jocks and keep the games fairly close.
Nah, Im way too bad at PS2 games to play for monay there. Im already tilted to death by playing a tiny little of dave mirra 2.
I played some poker today, 367 hands of .5/1nl sixo maxo.

1) can't fold, can't call oop, shove looks perty on drawy board. nh.
2) It takes a read and it's kind of a transparent play vs. a reg that knows you (repping narrow range, lack of balance, etc.). So I'm hoping this is vs. a fairly straightforward player that you've been playing against for a few orbits and showed down a 2 barrel or folded an overpair.
3) fold.
PS. Can your bike swim?
if it were Tekken Tag or anything above Tekken 3 that is not Tekken 4, we could play dollarmatches.
but then again, fairly quickly you will not play vs me anymore...
Haha, I havent tried it out yet, but I doubt it could swim.
I didnt play anymore poker in April and still dont feel like playing. I have to as I need some more mobniez for the summer but as for now I cant sweat it. I finished like 1k up, which is decent for playing like shit and taking one and a half week off.
Last weekend was pretty good, I went to a concert of a couple of bands Im friends with and had a good time. Sat/sun we went across germany to ride two of the bigger bikeparks and practice for the upcoming races and had a good time after all. No one got hurt and the bikes didnt fall apart. We spent the night camping in a tiny lil tent and now I wonder why I havent gone camping for years, cuz its just so awesome. Only beat was losing my wallet, along with some cash, CCs, health insurance card and my DL. I called the city this morning and getting only a new DL will cost me about 70 euros. FML.
Also, I need a new OP title. Recommnedations pls.

Yep, 8 weeks in Muscat, working for the company which runs the electric grid. Ive been waiting for their reply since Feb or so and didnt expect to be accepted anymore. Kinda stunned right now, as I have 3 weeks left to get all my finances and insurance and stuff in order. Pokerwise this is gonna stunt my progress totally, as I have to withdraw most of my roll to cover flight and living expenses and I am not sure if I´ll be able to play there or if it´s even legal to gamble. Friends willing to stake me with 1k, so Ill be back at 50nl now for a while.

Im very excited about the time in arabia. I dont know what to expect, only thing that for sure are 45°C. I gotta get me some shorts and sunblocker I suppose. Flight is booked for 06/06 and until then theres a lot of stuff to do, finishing two term papers on local power production/CHP and another the reliability of elctrical grids. I have to move all my stuff to my parents house, paint the old appartement blah blah blah. I have gotten in a massive 4k hands this month and am up 5 buy ins, so I cant complain. I wish I had more time/motivation to play, but as things are going poker gets tagged as "recreational".

yea, im not too worried about not being able to play, as i wrote before i dont really feel the urge to grind anyway. also, im looking at 45 - 50 hrs/week of work there and want to see as much as possible of the country and culture there in my spare time, so i wouldnt have much time to play even if I wanted to.
Tonight was the exception, I loaded up a couple of FTs 6m tables and look what happened:
http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u...r1k/052209.jpg
V nice, I made 1k this month in less than 5k hands lol
Mr. Awesomeo himself aka XTR1k managed to blow all his recent winnings taking shots at 1/2. Not a great idea to take shots with 12BI, counting a 1k stake.
I gave up my sweet appartement and moved back in with my parents. 2 weeks staying here, then leaving for Muscat on June 6th, still amazed and not sure what to expect. I pushed hard to paint and clean up old appartement over the weekend, so I can go downhill racing two more days week. Gonna be fun tomorrow, rocking a former world cup track not far from here and see how fast you can get. Beside all the amazing stuff going on Im not very happy with my pokers. I feel like Im losing so much money when Im not playing, but for some reason I cant load up the tables for an hour a day. Sucks big time, poker should be fun, but for me it isn´t atm
Oh man, I was all set to big congrats on your second last post :(. Eep at 12 buyins for 200nl. I've actually decided on 30 for my shot, up from 20 at every other stake.
You'll still be online when you're there right???
Yea, kinda suicidal what I did there. Im just so incredibily bored after playing 100nl for a gazillion years, especially after seeing my old pt2 db with like 100k hands at 1/2 and some shots at 2/4 and 3/6. Not that Im "killing the games" or anything, but Im getting sloppy and distracted all the time. Im hoping for better after my summer break.Quote:

LOL @ the pad on the tree.
Haha, these pads may save one´s life, but usually just lessen the pain a bit. These first class racing tracks do at least have proper crash pads, whereas our local park is equipped with stinky old mattresses covered in trash bags.Quote:

Otoh Im just totally stoked and happy I got this opportunity many many people won´t ever get in their entire life. Im really excited and curious about life. Im gonna learn some arabian, have to deal with 45°C and need to figure out how to get an internet conection. Im not going to play a lot or any poker, even if its legal. Would be a waste to hang the evening in front of your laptop. Im supposed to work like 40 to 45 hrs/week and have no idea what my responsibility will be. I got a one liner from my company saying "Someones gonna pick you up at the airport". I really hope they didnt forget to arrange accommodation for me.
As Im not that much of a blogger and dont use fb and ms a lot Im gonna use this blog to record my adventures. If I manage to steal my sisters cam Ill even be able to post pics here.
So be good fellas
Have fun, and try to keep in touch as much as possible.

Im glad youse didnt forget me ;)
So it´s been a week in the middle east now:
- Extremely hot conditions, noon temp around 45 - 52 C
- Extremely unhot females, as they´re all dressed like black ghosts. They do drive MB´s and Audis and BMW´s, but you´ll only get to estimate their boobs, when they´re moving quickly against the wind.
- Camelraces only on tv
- People are incredibly kind, friendly and peaceful. Since I came here, I havent heard a single person speaking up, everyone is smiling, the responsible coordinator from the local university cares great for us. We have a driver picking us up every morning and then dropping us off at our offices. They´re delivering breakfast and dinner every day to our house, Ive already made friends with a couple of lads from work.
- Did I mention it´s hot here?
- Loads of expensive cars around, everyone owns a house at least the size of our accomodation. Stray dogs chasing our car each morning doesnt fit in the picture and they scare the shit out of me
- No pron via the internet
- Actually, no internet at all, other than accessed via your cell phone
- I played some poker. SB is a total drooler, no idea about the BB, numbers look fishy over 30, but he hasnt done anything stupid.

So... you're playing poker on your cell phone? Degenerate.
if you get the chance to somehow borrow a couple of big 4wds and take a long weekend then get yourself out into the desert for the other side of Oman...
hildesheim was all churches and roses.
have fun
Going to Masilah for the next two days, not exactly desert, but it´s a sweet island with those turtles everyone goes nuts about. British navy has a base there, so I hope to get some booze or beer and get shitfaced by the beach before I put my money on which baby turtle makes it first to the sea.
I actually didnt play poker on my phone, Im just connecting my laptop via the phone to the webz. Didnt even know that was possible.
daven, what did u do around Hildesheim? If youre still there, you´re close to the bouldering grounds across the Harz. If you feel like you´ll need a local guide let me know and i´ll give a friends cell no.
I´m back from a weekend of pure awesomeness.
- We had to take the ferry to get over to that island. The town from where the ferry leaves has two piers to board the cars and trucks. A departure schedule doesnt exist, your basically hanging out by the sea and flip a coin where to wait when the boat comes near. Like 20 mins before estimated departure our guide informed us, that he´d get us a local to drive the second rental car onto the ferry, b/c we prob couldnt handle the rush. We stared confused at him, but agreed, not knowing what was about to come. We chose the wrong pier and when the boat was about to land we were racing thru that lil town, just to find like 25 cars and two truck already lined up, prepared to fight for 16 to 20 free slots on the boat. Since our driver is an insane bedouin he just passes all the waiting 4wd to be 2nd car in "lane 2", driver in our second car is first in "lane 3". The ferry releases the arrivees and suddenly all hell breaks loose. Im not joking, Barcelona downtown during rush hour was a piece of cake compared to what went down there, everyone is honking, not accepting a millimeter free space to the car in front of them, all those huge japanese suv pushing and shoving and we´re caught right in the middle sitting in tiny toyota rental car with an insane bedouin driver who doesnt speak english except for "goot" and "fish". A Land cruiser gets pushed over the edge and is two centimeters away from falling into the ocean, a truck tries to back up onto the fairy and im scared shitless.
- While we were waiting for the ferry a crowd of dolphins swam along, first time in my life Ive seen those fuckers irl
- People staring at us tells us there arent many skinny white guys around this island, not counting ourselves we met zero tourists. Only one hotel which appeared to be closed. Landscape, ocean and beaches are mint
- Our guide is a local fisherman, really cool guy who can say "ho a u?", "feesh" and "ferry goot". Apparently, everyone in this area is named Ghalib. Ghalib tries to teach us fishing with little to none success, therefore he proudly presents what he caught that day. The fish he brings for our bbq would cost a shipload of money back home.
- Everyone goes nuts about those turtles, so where are they? See, baby turtles come out at full moon and today there isnt a moon to be seen anywhere. Adult turtles are hard to catch, since there are like 3 per night coming and the turtle beach spans over kilometers. Luckily our guide is mr awesome and finds us a huge turtle (really fucking huge) on its way back to the ocean.
- We hang out by beach and sleep there. Could well be the first time in my life Im sleeping under the sky and not be completely wrecked.
Ghalib provided is with delicious crabs

thanks everyone for stopping by! Update on life: It´s still hot, sunny and good overall. Last night a friend took us with him to a tradtional Omani wedding 1.5 hrs outside muscat capital area. From one standpoint it was interesting to see something most foreigners won´t ever get to see, otoh it was boring as fuck ans my butt hurt from sitting on the ground for 1 hr+. Food was delicous, the traditional sweet-pudding-stuff was amazing and the waiter will keep pouring coffee in your cup until you realize you have to shake it when ur done. Unneccessary (sp?) to mention, that men and women are strictly separated.
Afterwards we went to Al Qurm district, which is somewhat sort of a downtown area but yet not comparable to western metropoles. It´s where the big hotels are located and where you can get beer and booze. Taking a swig of Heineken for $8 per bottle at the Interconti hotel bar gave me a feeling of a true cosmopolitan/foreigner, having an argument with the bar´s manager about me being of legal age/me not having my passport on me was just embarrassing. Waiting for the cab driver to bring my passport we hit a sweet shee´sha place. Crowded with shady arab´s, halfway a construction area on the third floor of some office building, but by far the best shee´sha avaiable in town.
So far I´ve played a massive 1.5k hands this month, breaking even for the most part. I´m getting in the mood of playing again. Internetaccess via the cell phone makes the connection kinda unreliable tho.

I´ve played a massive 1.6k hands in June for a net of -350. Nothing special, getting coolered along the way and messing up the red line again. I just realized that I´ll be dead broke when I return home. The salary I get paid for the training barely covers food and accomodation expenses.
With a couple of trips around the middle east and two weeks of french alps when I return home I can consider myself life-busto by the beginning of September. That means the hell of a grind starting on August 1st, beginning on a mere $2k roll that needs to be kicked up to $4k/1/2NL asap. Until then there´s quite a lot of game improvement to be done. Important things to work on:
- Playing solid poker for extended periods of time and staying in line
- Exploiting perceived ranges.
- Improve 3 and 4bet pot play. I´m not merging my 3betting range vs regs enough, at some point I almost entirely stopped 3betting UTG opens, Im prop not 3betting enough oop. My 4balling game is awkward/awful, 4b/folding way too much. Change seats > 4b/call 3b oop all the time
Other than that life has been very good. Last weekend we went to see a bit of Omans interior, we visited a huge cave and an traditional old village in the mountains. Attached to the village were cascading gardens with palms and other plants, irrigated by a hundreds of years old system of water channel. Totally amazing (1) (2)
The day after the interior me and three other trainees hit Dubai city (4). It´s like 4ish hrs from here by car, so we got a small Toyota and left Muscat at 4am. Dubai is nothing but sick. The malls are inredible, that Burj Dubai tower is fucking huge (3), palm island sucks donkey balls (at least when you can´t afford a share of private shoreline) and the busstations are air conditioned.

Now I´ve managed to have my blog moved to page two eventually. Yet, not really many news to update youse. I´m getting a bit homesick as I really miss girls, beer and action. This place is nice, but for my taste it´s too nice at times. Also, very slowly, the food drives me insane.
No poker at all, after I confirmed that gambling is strictly forbidden. Better not risk anything. I´m looking forward to grind again tho when I get back home. As stated above I´ll be flat out broke the next months and already have to sell one of my bicycles to afford the trip to France in August. It´s gonna be the first time, where I actually HAVE TO make money or else I´ll be screwed big time and I hope I can handle the pressure.
I´m aiming for
- Get up at 8 at the latest, better be awake around 730
- Get in at least one hour of 100NL 6m
- Gym/running for 40 - 80 minutes
- Work my arse off for uni
- Get in two more hours at least of 100NL 6m
- Spend 30min reviewing/discussing/posting outside commune/blogs&ops

Well, yea. Im not going for a random interesting hand review, Id like to set up a group of students working on one specific topic per week. A low degree of organization and lack of almost any regular procedure in my life is supposedly my biggest leak, hence Im looking for fellow students to whom I feel somewhat responsible and who can keep me busy.
As for poker, I decided to start off on 08/02 at 50nl, seeing how many tables I can handle after being off the grind for several months. Stage one will be 5k hands at 50nl, if Im finishing those up I´ll be going for 10k hands chunks at 100nl until my br cracks 4.5k and take 3BI shots at 1/2 from there.
Aside my poker plannings one may ask, how my weekend was? Well, we started off on thursday going to some place, then to another place and then to some place. Eventually we hit a private beach club and guess what?! we got beer there. Good times having beer and shisha´s by the beach, watching the sun go down. Apparently, german and scottish drinking habits go well together, while the guys from belgium, india, azerbaidjan, turkey and whatnot other countries where with us lack the motivation to just pour as much beer as possible into their.
http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u...k/IMG_2084.jpg
We returned back home around 10p and after all the drunken euros spilled out of the cars a Lambo drove by our house and subsequently everyone freaked out. The person driving the car was from Qatar and supposedly a very friendly guy, as he stopped and let just everyone sit in his car and have us taking pictures. When it was my turn to stupidly smile and pose for the cam some cars qeued up behind the Lambo, signalling that they wanted to pass. Guy from Qatar came over, asked me "can you drive?" and Im like "fuck yea" and he says "well then go ahead and let people pass, if you wanna go for a ride I´ll be waiting here". The middle east is a weird, but friendly place.
http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u...k/IMG_2100.jpg
Next day we are desperate for more beer (after 7 weeks off I almost forgot the lovely taste of it) and get a cab to the seeb disctrict, which look kinda dirty, but also less conservative. Cab drivers like "u europe, huh? i show u good place go to! u like drink, huh?" This friendly person introduces us to a couple of shady bars and billard clubs, where I see drunken Omanis. These guys are def top 3 of funniest people Ive ever met. I lose three games pool straight to a drunken guy with two fake feet and one fake leg. We head off to some disco/dance club and arrive exactly at 1hr before closing time/no entry sorry guys. Waiting for a cab we watch drunk arabs getting ready for street racing, get to know a couple of asian hookers (no action though) and finally a random guy pulls up, says he´s the DJ and if the liked the party and finally offers us a ride home.
Soooooo here we go.

hand 1 meh 7 is a terribad card because he has a 7 all day when he checks the flop back
hand 2 is sweet when you think the guy is squeezing light some of the time and I think it's mandatory vs. people who are at all aggressive in squeeze spots
if you had TT you could probably flat again
hand 3 never squeeze/fold with jacks, you're only doing this to get it in, button has a small pp or crap because he'd 3b a good hand and the 1% chance he has QQ is just a sick cooler
Im wondering if theres benefit of b/f turn in #1, but right now i dont think so, assuming most people cbet their rubbish. as for the QQ, i appreciate feedback on the 4b sizing.
1) 3b pre
2) 3b pre
3) call pre unless utg is laggy.
Much appreciated. I just came to realize that my 3betting is prob way too polarized, particularly at 50nl/100nl where a major mistake is to call too much. In a BTN vs CO/MP scenario I was likeQuote:

My has been so - so. I got back on the grind and it was quiet swingy, banking 2BB after 7k. I´ve been more rational, stayed in line and made a couple of laydown I wasn´t always capable of. Also, I was autopiloting most of the time and didnt think much at all, just focusing on being solid and not to fancy it up.

Sick Brags XTR. Very sick Brags!
1) call, call river. I can't fold here.
2) I've gotten into a lot of trouble in these spots, working on betting smaller amounts in 3bet pots, so like bet 6.70 and fold to a raise or barrel a decent turn.
3) It's less than 1/2 pot and it still could be a flush draw. AFAIK there's no way we can fold here and be playing optimally.
Bit of a heater the last days. Im ill at home, either caught swine flu or just a cold now that temperatures merely climb to 25°C. When there´s nothing to do and you´re broke....Yea.
