"quoted for truth" (i.e. you agree with whatever you are QFTing and it's point worth repeating)
I've heard this term a lot but don't understand it: "downswing"
After reading some hands that were posted. I was wondering what "ship it" means and also the difference between clean and dirty outs are.
:shipit: is an exclamation made after winning a big pot
clean outs: standard outs to "make" your hand
dirty outs: outs that will make your hand but will make someone else a better hand, for example 9:s: completes your straight but completes villain's flush, or also higher straight
yeah, i hear it has something to do with losing money. i asked Cocco_Bill, and he said, "what? downswing? never heard of it....quit wasting my time, dillhole." he followed up with, "theres 2 BI's worth of time that i'll never get back."Quote:

when people are describing players, and using a fraction such as 48/30 or something similar, to what precisely are they referring? i'm sure its something about their raising or calling over so many hands or something similar, but i just figure its best to ask and not be guessing
it's using their pokertracker stats.
VPIP%/PFR% basically vpip% is % of hands played and the other is pre flop raise %.
i knew that at one point, then i forgot
reknowing clarifies a lot
vacuum? a real nitty game or a game with alot of skilled players?
PO=PokerOffice=poker database very much like PT
PT3 and HUD are not compatible. PT2+HUD+PT Omaha work on XP, Nor do they seem to like vista.
