Can't buy scotch for a picky scotch drinker. He'll know if he doesn't like it. If he doesn't like some brandy, oh well he's just not a fan of brandy.
More shotgun shells, I shot a fat man trying to steal cookies, could use some more.
My mother used to be of this principle too when me and my siblings were younger. Get you what you need/want when you need/want it, instead of withholding all year and only giving on designated times. But still at the end of the year you'd get the big pile of gifts. I think it's too hard for them not to, when all the other kids get this aswell.
It is slightly shifting now due to American media influence, but in Belgium we typically give the gifts not on Christmas, but on december 6, called Sinterklaas. It is basically the same figure as Santa Claus, only he comes in a steamboat and he doesn't have a sleigh and reindeer, but rather he has black slaves.

Man, I wish I got a slave for Christmas. She wouldn't have to be black, prob best if she wasn't really. I guess I'd choose a white girl slave to avoid certain problems. But I digress. A slave would have been such a great present. Imagine waking up Christmas morning, no excitement obviously because you know what you have. But then there is a big old present under the tree with your name on it that you didn't expect. And it moves! So obviously the first thing you do is kick it until it stops moving, just in case it's a snake, right? So after kicking it a few times, you open it up and find a slave. The best bit is that she'd be so relieved that you aren't kicking her any more and that she is actually going to live, she'd be delighted to be your slave. Man, I'd have one sparkling clean house and be one lazy motherfucker.

I made these shelves and the Star Trek book ends for my woman for Christmas and her birthday, respectively (her b-day is early January). You can't really see it, but they have a partial back.
I really like the partial back. Did you paint them or use a bunch of dark stain?
Two coats of black and one coat of sealer. I found a picture without the books so that you can see the back. Sorry for the shitty picture quality.

Those are awesome, nice spoon
I was told by my friends who live in the Netherlands that it's less of a racial thing and is based on the tradition of chimney sweeps representing the lower class. I thought this made sense because I didn't think there were any history of race-based slavery in the Netherlands' history, but who knows, maybe that's just a PC spin on the whole thing.
Nice bookshelf, spoon. Always good to give a gift from the heart
and has functional use. Looks like it is being filled up fast

How much would you charge for a Voyager?
A 21yo chick into star trek? Or you just added that bit for you?
amazon vouchers still have 12 month expiry,
some unlucky family members have to use them by november.
such a bad idea imo.
