I find it interesting that Boog, Warpe and ragnar are all absent even though everyone got a pm with their role AND the game was scheduled to start on a specific day.
I certainly don't think all three of them are wolves though but it would buthurt the village quite a bit if we lynch a villager AND all three of them get modkilled.
Of the three I would prefer to keep Warpe alive cuz if he posts he could be valuable to the village, but I could definitely go with either Ragnar or Boog if they don't show up.

I'm here guys. Yes, I lost internet but I have it now so that logic for lynching me goes out the window.
Lynch Ragnar for hopping on my bandwagon. It's barely been 24 hours. Why is everyone going for a quick day and an easy lynch?
I'm sticking with my Wuf lynch. From memory (incoming 6 page with links defence from the wufmeister) he is playing completely diff than usual.

Overall, I think lynching either bikes or wuf gives us by far the most information, certainly more than what we'd normally expect to get from a day one lynch. I'm sticking with wuf, and if he's a wolf, we should string up bikes very quickly and look at the info we have from that.
I personally enjoy playing with Wuf. I probably shouldn't bring that into my decision~making but it's Day 1 so meh.
Yes, my logic last night was horrible. It was 3 in the morning and I kinda threw together a quick post. I guess I was a bit annoyed at seeing a day 1 bandwagon happening w/o me posting after we all should remember what happened with redzill4.

Yeah I figured it would be a special lynched before he could out himself. I'm all for putting heat on absent players to force them to post, but I would not like to see someone nailed up before they have chance to out themselves in the event they are important.

It's an interesting angle that rilla has thrown in here. It's hard to find the optimal play for the village. If we start announcing who we intend to scan, it is likely to influence the wolves' nom choice. For example, if I were to say that wuf is my scan choice if I die tonight, a non-wuf wolf team might decide I'm a good target for nomming, since they know I won't scan a wolf.
I think when I die, I'm just going to pick someone at random. The problem of double-scanning isn't that much of an issue, it just increases the chance of a successful scan. If scan success is 50%, someone scanned twice is 75% likely to be exposed.
I guess it's better to keep as much info from the wolves as we can.
The discussion about us keeping lookup info close to the chest is bang on...it was key to the DOJ victory.
We've got 6 hours to go and we have no momentum.
I maintain that in late game, it's really difficult to tell the Omega personalities (who merely drift and follow) from wolves appearing villagery. We've got no real evidence yet on Day 1 so would be best to weed out those who aren't assets to the village in late game...we've got a 20% chance to hit a wolf/turncoat and failing that, a 100% chance of keeping our best villagers.
Hoopy, lolzzz and fulksy are these kind of guys to me. And to those 3, if you disagree with me, you can change how much you participate and offer.
DTB and TLR:
Forgive me for being stoopid, but I really believe that both of your points are ignoring the fact that even though each dead villager gets to do an instantaneous seer power by a lookup, it still does not allow either he village OR the wolves that knowledge unless:
1. the dead lookup actually works (noone knows the % chance) and
2. the medium actually makes contact with a dead who was able to succesfully perform a look up.
Seems like a push to me.

Maybe the best way to deal with the dead looking people up is to just let it play out and see what happens because we don't know the success percentage? The chances of someone being looked up twice are small and any system will be exploited by the wolves to some degree. Like Benny said keeping lookup info secret is important.
Thoughts about the medium outing early on? Since the angel can't protect themselves it might be better to protect the medium early so we can get a steady stream of info and don't risk them being randomly nommed.
