So who was worse today, Andy Reid or Brad Childress?
Andy Reid - 3rd and 1 with time running down in the 1st half calls a deep go route to Kevin Curtis, which is intercepted, when about 10-15 yards would have gotten a FG before the half.
Brad Childress - Down 16-14 in the 3rd quarter and your much bigger offensive line needs 1 yard for a first down and you call a sweep to Adrian Peterson, who is a much better downhill runner.
As a lifelong Eagles fan, glad to see them get the win and FINALLY call a freakin screen pass to Westbrook, but I think the Eagles win today was due to how anemic the Vikings passing game. While McNabb threw for 300 yards, the inability to end drives with TD's will end up hurting this team next week in the Meadowlands.
I wasn't happy with how the offense played at all. Jackson was great on PR and Akers was great, but they should have scored 35+ with a competent offensive effort.
And I like Samuel but think of how much better we'd be if they went after Allen last winter instead. What a beast.

That's probably a good idea. I would like to point out though that everyone who posted in the thread agreed with my picks except for the Baltimore game.Quote:

They are streaking, Darren Sproles ran on a team that I thought would flat out lock him down, and it's beginning to look like he can run on anybody.
I simply wouldn't bet on the titans chargers game. not that I think the chargers win, but because I don't think the titans cover enough to make it a profitable bet.
San Diego plays Pittsburgh
I guarantee the Chargers won't win the Chargers Titans game
I remember posting in one of the very early NFL threads.. maybe even preseason.. that the Vikings would go 1 and done in the playoffs.
I remember specifically using the term 'bwahahhahaha' to describe the Minny passing game.
Well, the Chargers have to beat the Steelers, the Titans have to beat the Ravens, then the Chargers have to beat the Titans. Unlikely, but I wouldn't guarantee it. :)Quote:

i love watching the chargers and everything but i don't know if i can trust their pass-heavy offense to go into the cold and fuck up pittsburgh's D
