Or take down a lot of small pots postflop =) Whatever gets 'er done~
But yes, last night was the first time I ever saw a full 10 person table with an average pot of $0.

I personally think this sucks right now.....i make 1500+ a month in rakeback and live off of it. I dont ever have to withdraw any money from my accounts so its nice. But rakeback on party is possible and i will be getting a new account with rakeback soon, but like fnord said, im going to wait a bit before i do anything.
I don't really care as I pretty much only played Party and skins for reload bonuses. Actually I think that rakeback disappering will probably make for better games as hopefully some of the breakeven multitabling rocks will call it quits!
Poker Ace HUD now supports Crypto Skins, which all have great rakeback deals.
I am willing to bet there will be a good bit of migration.
the multitabling SNGers will have to change their games up.
im starting to wonder how PP SNGs translate to Pstars Turbos.
Does it seem like all the rocks are playing on PP while this whole mess is being sorted out? Kinda like - "Well, I better try to make money off the Party fish until I can find a good rakeback site". Seems tigher than before. That's my take after playing 4 tables for 2 hours.
Adjust your playing style much?Quote:

Loosen up a tad and bluff more. Especially from late position. If they're going to fold when they don't have good hands, then you need to pick up that dead money.
Reading people becomes slightly more important.
Yeah, i should've just said 240 BB/500 hands 'cause that's what it was. And 200 of that was the bonus, so the play was 8BB/100. Not a hot run at all, but passable. Did another 500 or so yesterday for PLAYOCT. -120BB but cleared $25 of the bonus.Quote:

The goal is just to get this overwith and go elsewhere.
Fewer tables, play a lot looser than the next guy.Quote:

I'm going to play NL100/200 elsewhere on one or two tables before I play NL25 on fewer tables.
Means more money during your bonus clearing period. Patience, my friend. Patience.Quote:

Does this mean that using your Empire Poker account you will no longer be able to play on Party Poker's tables?
If yes, does that mean Empire's days are numbered?
Does Empire not have a large enough account base to simply continue on with its own tables? Or will this Party/Skin separation effectively cause all but the most established skins to go out of business (where would you put Empire relative to the other skins here?)
When will this take affect?
For a casual online player like me ( I play maybe 4 or 5 times per month online), should I be looking to close my Empire account and open a Party account?
If Empire does survive this split, what kind of player mix and game selection do you think there will be in the near term and in the longer term?
Basically I need some advice from those of you that play online every day.
Thanks!

I made my wife use my Empire account while I use Party because I'm such a nice guy. She's pissed because she went to play Omaha and there is only one Pot Limit Table. There were 3 people sitting there. I think Empire was the biggest party skin. They purchased Noble poker a month before this happened, so they must have been aware. I think Titan poker shares tables with Noble poker too. Plus they have AceClub as their casino. I think Empire will survive and potentially do well in the long run if they can expand and make some new partners. Who knows about the other skins though.
Don't close your account. Keep both Party and Empire. Why not? More offers.Quote:

Can somebody explain this situation to a relatively new player?
When did the skins get the boot from the party network?
I had no idea about this - I registered at Empire for the bonus and found the games incredibly tight. I take it Party isn't nearly as tight?
Party removed its table from the network. Network's still alive, but no Party tables are on it.
This happened October 8th.
Party tables aren't rock gardens generally, no. On the network, yes. Most people are there to clear a bonus and not play poker.
