WW JK9 game thread

Based on a skim, my top scum candidates are ongbonga and Jack (you guys pick what order)

And I am currently in the camp of town Baudib and Benny.

Omg makes the grade for "it's only Wolfy if I pretend it's random when it's not" (statistics, bro!)

Jack for making what looks like a bunch of small mistakes that could be slips in perspective.

Baud mades town camp for what Benny pointed out: wolves are usually more slick.

Benny for pointing out jack scummy super early, though defensiveness of Luco's vote is cause for concern if Jack turns up town.

So benny gets a pass for saying jack is wolfy, while I'm wolfy for a comment that is obviously not to be taken seriously, even though I'm hardcore on jack's ass as well.

The subtle snark of your comment was not obvious to me. I'll reevaluate you, but don't think I'm backtracking for any reason more than my own obliviousness.

But you could trust that my reads are sincere, since I am obviously on the block for a reason.

I'm not opposed to LtL, but I think that's too easy, and the mod has stated that modkill is on the table for him. Ong and Luco should move your votes (even on to me) unless Oskar shows up.

Lynching oskar is betting than him being modkilled. If he's a villager, the modkill hurts us, especially if we lynch a different villager today. Plus it unbalances the game from a final day pov. And if he's a wolf, we lose the information his lynch would have provided.

I'm not shifting my vote unless he shows up. I don't hate your jack vote though, and I do think you sound town toned.

Jack's posts are null at best. I can see him being a wolf but I remember him being a really good player so maybe we give him another day to sort him.

That he felt the need to announce his lack of presence this evening is wolfy in itself. I'm forever looking for excuses to participate less when I'm a wolf, it's probably my biggest wolf tell. Are we going to let him get away with that every day?

poop is a noob at ww but he's an active commune poster so he could be more relaxed than your average first timer wolf. That said, I do lean towards him being a villager. He's certainly not a d1 lynch.

If oskar gets replaced, my vote will be removed immediately. Until then, I'm quite happy for him to hang. We rarely learn anything from a d1 lynch unless it's a wolf. I'd rather we not have him modkilled, regardless of his alignment. Lynching him solves problems at no major cost. We can afford a mistake today.

Replacing oskar with another sub is the plan, but it's not a given.
I made a last-minute request for subs on the MU site, and it's super lucky and I owe many thanks that Spacecamp has volunteered on such short notice.
While finding another sub is ideal, I do not think that should be considered the likely outcome in the next 4 hours.

I was a wolf 1-2 times and a vampire once. That time the wolves ate me.

I was the seer twice and I think I outed myself early both times so the angel could do his job, yep. It works.

Just under 4 hours left by my reckoning. UTC is Europe and is 1 hr behind British Summer Time, so midnight UK = 11pm UTC..

Best seer ever was courtiebee. I played with her once, I was a wolf and we had no idea she was seer. She outed herself with 2/2 wolf picks. Crushed.

Yep. How do you feel about Spacecamp? Swooped in, tried to encourage distrust of you, who we all had in the villager camp and sucked up to me, probably the next active so far. Encouraged the wolfy vibe on JV - would basically strengthen or weaken the jack case if we know what Spacecamp is.

Wolf reads are rarely better than rand on D1. I was in a game recently where villagers had to submit a list of 8 names they thought contained wolves, in a game with 4 wolves. No one got 4 right and 1person got 0.

I think that's thin. A wolf who hasn't played in a while might be excited and bold enough to do that. I don't really remember his style but I don't see him as passive.
