Fuck, 500 posts per day is a shit load even by my standards.
I could be tempted, but my strategy would very likely be to skate by through the early stages until the field thins. If that's considered rude, then count me out.
By skate by, I mean not read everything but still comment on what I have read, just to be clear. I can easily manage 10+ posts a day, even when skating by.
I played two games on MU and both times I was a veritable van helsing. In fact in the second game I got nommed N2 because 4 of my 5 wolf picks were wolves. The games are definitely softer than FTR.

Like so many here, my life has changed in a way which leaves me less time to devote to games.

Perception of your own skill level is irrelevant, it's mostly just about having fun and creating bonds. As long as you can keep up with either a 36/12 or 72/24 game and make a handful of posts each day phase, you're good.
Others need to get exposed to the wolf stylings of FTR. Someone please step up and represent FTR this year so I can rail the game.

Interest in a hydra event?
At least a dozen different communities this year expressed an interest in a so-called "hydra event", so it's finally gonna happen. If you don't know what "hydra" means, it's when two people share the same account (two heads). So the idea is that each participating community can send one or multiple hydras of two players, the advantage of which is that it's maybe easier to be active when two players are both playing on the same account, and it's also just a lot of fun :)
So maybe your community would also be interested in this. If so and if you're wanting to play and have a partner, please send me a PM on this site within the next couple of weeks. I'll check back then and give you more information. Quick Mafia Championship Update
For those who didn't follow the Mafia Championship to the end, Dels from GameFAQs ended up winning the fourth season. He will be receiving a winner's certificate signed by Dmitry Davidoff, the creator of Mafia.
Hydra Event 2017 - Interested?
As some of you may recall, last year 220 players from dozens of different communities participated in the first ever cross-community Hydra Event. It was a big success and people have been wanting another one, so... It's finally here! :)
If you don't know what "hydra" means, it's when two people share the same account (two heads). So the concept is that each participating community can send multiple hydras if they want, each consisting of two players, which tends to make the game more fun in addition to making it easier to be active since two players are playing on the same account.
Sign-ups will be open for next couple of weeks.
