There are FTR rules about max. posts per day when you're new here, and also rules about including links in posts and other stuff that's easy to take for granted. If you get your post count up before the game starts, then you wont notice any restrictions when they might hinder you.
Of course, we'll do our best to keep you free to post, but it will take someone with more permissions than a common, lowly FTR Moderator to do this, so it may take a bit of time to get them in the loop.
Also, I don't think you can send/receive PM's until your post count is up to a certain amount. You will need a private way to be notified of your role in the game.
