Props to anyone joining the Marines. You know 2 of my closest friends are Royals so max respect from me. Enjoy it man, it's gonna be tough but it's so worth it (so my mates constantly tell me).
Come over to England for some proper partying too imo. WHEEEEE!!
Dranger I must say you have probably been one of the biggest influences on my game in helping me with the motivational side of things. Discussing HH's with you has also been very +EV, but using you as a benchmark for accomplishments (i.e. your strong grind through the micros, your tournament cashes etc.) has given me sort of an extra 'push' to work harder. Competition is fun :)
Also, it's good to see you have some well structured plans for when you return from boot. I imagine your mind will be fully refreshed and prepared to own the tables and that you will have developed a renewed sense of discipline and determination towards quality performance that will allow you to catch up to everyone who has a 4 month 'time edge' on you in no time.
GL sir.
Take care of yourself in boot! I have alot of respect for what you're doing, especially during wartime. As I stated b4, attention to detail is a big thing in military service, and you seem to have that, so I'm sure you will do just fine. Don't let the instructors get in your head though, none of it is personal, just doing their jobs. Keep that in mind.
Looking forward to hearing from you when you are a lean, mean, fighting machine! Hopefully my bankroll will be in the G's by then too!!! Take care.
Take care of yourself and train real hard. I'll see you when you get back. I think my new BR goals are "exceed Dranger's BR at least by August 21st, or as late as early October".
I'll be looking forward to railing you when you get back!

:D
Have a good time, don't drop the soap, come backin one piece yadda yadda.
So I think I promised you that I wouldn't let this OP get onto page 2 of the OP listings. I have failed you my friend.
However, I am bumping this for all new players to see that grinding a roll from $50 to $1000 CAN be done.
If some new players are reading this, visit Dranger's other OP (http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...te-t78573.html) where he turns $50 to $1000 in just about 5 days (well, I'm exaggerating a bit, but he does so rather quickly).
And there. I bumped your shit. Now get your ass back from boot camp.
BLING BLANG BLOAW!!! So anyways guys.. I have an update from dranger. As you know he's busy with this whole real life thing, which includes being in Marine Corps Boot Camp at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. Before he left, I made sure he had my address and have been looking forward to a letter since (as I've had plenty of family head to that specific Boot Camp, and have ambitions of possibly going myself after college). Finally it came today, and I figured I would share a few things with you guys.
To start, our very own Dranger happened to make squad leader the first day in boot, and has held the position since. His platoon also kicked ass in the Initial Drill, which is a competition between the 6 platoon's in the company, and winner has a very good shot of making Honor Platoon. He will be heading to Camp Pendleton soon to begin Phrase 2 of boot camp, involving Rifle Range, etc.
Anyways, I just figured I would let you guys know how he's doing, and give his blog a bit of the life update it's been needing.
If any of you that regularly talked to dranger, either on the forums or in irc, want to get ahold of an address that you can write him at, just send me a pm and let me know. I'm sure he would very much so appreciate a letter updating with how things are going. While in boot camp they can be fairly secluded from the outside, and are (obv) relatively busy, so when they get a break, I'm sure getting some updates from you guys, would help him pass the time.
Does make you wonder whether he's trying to get volume in at rifle training by multi rifling . Get the basics down on one rifle , then one rifle right arm /right eye and a second rifle left arm and left eye .....then its just a case of having mastered that . bolting rifles side by side and linking the triggers .
on a side note , for those of us in europe , if we pm'ed you a note for him stacks any chance you could print them off and stick em in the mail for him or someone else might volunteer. Maybe collect them up fortnightly and stick them all in one envelope.
Best of luck to you Dranger. I served 7 years in the Army Infantry, and it was the single best experience of my life. Best of luck to you
This post made me lol so hard I cried. Totally serious.Quote:

My plan is to throw in a "short" (it probz wont be short) recap of my summer. It was pretty sick.
Edit: This is going to start off fairly detailed then get more generalized as I go on as the beginning was probably the most "traumatic" lol.
To kick things off, landed in San Diego on May 26th, around 1am. Got herded like sheep onto a bus shortly after. We were made to ride with our heads between our legs and to not look up, talk, or move.
After about 30-45 minutes of driving around we finally stopped, and were abruptly introduced to the fabled "Yellow Footprints." I shit brix. lol Like seriously, your sitting on a bus one minute, the next minute you have 3 DI's in your face screaming and yelling at you to move your ass before you get choke-slammed into a bulkhead.
After that, they rummage through our shit, then the most PAINFUL (lets just say more than one recruit bled) haircut of your life, then you are sat down in a classroom. Hours (LITERALLY HOURS) of paperwork follows. After that you are issued your first "uniform" (you look like a total jackass). After that its kind of a blur, and I dont remember much except for a lot of shots and seeing a dentist, eye doctor, etc.
No sleep til Thursday night (we got Tuesday morning, so however many hours that is.) That week up til Friday is called "Receiving Week" and basically its to teach you SUPER basic shit, like learning how to march (sort of), shots, paperwork, etc. That Saturday (for my Company) we experienced Black Friday. (It's supposed to happen on Friday, but we shipped a day later because of a holiday or some shit ANYWAYS) Black Friday is when you meet your "real DI's. Dustin again shits brix. Possibly one of the worst days of my life. Never been so scared lol.
Basically, its just 4 Green and Tan blurs streaking around the room yelling at everyone, good stuff. :) This is the beginning of Phase 1.
Now I'm gonna start getting more generalized because its nothing too exciting and it would be an INSANELY long post otherwise.
Phase 1 consists of REALLY learning to march, learning how to clean your rifle, PT, classes, Initial Drill, Initial PFT, and preparing to go up North. I was made Squad Leader the 1st day we picked up (Black Friday). Basically what that means is I was in charge of 14 other Recruits, if they fucked up, I got fucked up, etc.
Phase 1 lasts about 4 weeks. Phase 2 consists of moving up to Camp Pendleton. When you get there, you are issued all your field gear. The first week you are there is Grass Week. You learn all the components of your rifle, how to fire your rifle, different firing positions, finding your True Zero, and hours and hours and hours of dry firing at a barrel. Week Two is Rifle Range, where you fire at known distances of 200, 300 and 500 yards in various firing positions. Probably one of the most fun weeks of RT. You send hundreds of rounds downrange that week. More good stuff. :) Week 3 up north is Field Week. Field Week = hell imo. 3-5 hours of sleep depending on how much you pissed your DI's off the day before, no showering, you wash off with baby wipes, COLD MRE's (not allowed to use the heater inside to make the food warm), hours spent crawling through the dirt, mud, grass, etc, lots of dirt in your teeth, very little time to brush your teeth. After that week is over you go back down to MCRD San Diego for Phase 3.
Phase 3 consists of Final Drill, Final PFT, Prac Test, and some other shit. DI's start treating your more like a human at this point, but you are still a Recruit. It's pretty bad ass though, since your platoon actually knows how to march now and shit and you get to correct all the Phase 1 recruits. Nothing really exciting happens in this Phase, probably the longest one for me. I'm still a Squad Leader at this point.
After 3 weeks of Phase 3, you go back up North for the Crucible. The Crucible is a 54 hour event where you get like 8 hours of sleep in 3 days, hike ~40 miles and do 32 day events, 2 night events, and an 8 mile hike at the end up a small mountain, called the Reaper.
To be honest, it sounds god awful when its put in those terms, but its really not that bad. It goes by so fast, its hard to remember most of it. After the Crucible you are awarded your Eagle, Globe, and Anchor and the Title Unites States Marine. You are now a human in the DI's eyes again.
Go back down south. Practice for graduation all week. Family Day on Thursday, and Graduation on Friday (today.) I graduated as a Squad Leader. :) The only Recruit/Marine that was appointed on the first day to make it all through Recruit Training without being fired /brag. Basically makes me a bad ass imo.
All in all, RT isnt really that bad. The hardest part about it is getting over yourself really. Stop worrying about "me" and start worrying about the men around you. For example, in the beginning, everyone complains about being hungry, etc (I did myself). Today, when I went to lunch with my family I ate a foot long 1/2 lb hot dog, fries, a package of Reese's, an ice cream cone from Cold Stone, and like 8 cookies that my mom made for me. Afterwards, they asked if I was full. My response? "I don't know." They were like, "WTF?!?! HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW?" Basically what happens is, you are trained to ignore your body lol. Like, I seriously have no idea when I'm hungry or full. I feel pretty much the same throughout the day no matter what unless it gets to an extreme of not eating at all for a long period of time, i.e missing a meal or two, or eating too much and my stomach hurts so bad I feel like I'm about to vomit. Pretty crazy huh? Same thing goes with pain/discomfort. You only feel it once it hurts like a MOTHER, before that you just ignore it.
Fun stuff though, all in all. I didnt lose a LOT of weight, the big difference was in the inches off my waist. I weighed in at ~190 before I went in (I'm 6'3") came out ~180, but my waist is 2-3 inches smaller.
It was fun, challenging, I hated it at times, loved it at times, all in all something I'll never forget.
Alright, this post is ridiculously long, and if you read it you are a trooper lol. It's good to be back and I'll be hittin everyone and the tables up real soon if I havent already.
PEACE!
PS: I'll post pics of me in my uniform(s) as soon as I get them on my comp.
Welcome back and glad you enjoyed the multirifling post. Never did get round to writing you , thought it was october when you finished and work got busy so hardly played at all this month .
You sick son of a bitch! You're back! I'm so fuckin' PUMPED right now.

OO RAH!
Welcome back bud
It doesn't count unless you post pics itt imo
jk, grats ranger, I'm truly impressed and glad we have guys like you willing to do the nasty jobs it sometimes takes to keep us safe and free
Hey all, been a few days since I've updated this. Couple things have happened. First, I upgraded to Poker Copilot 2, it has a hand replayer, more HUD stats, new graphs, etc; so it was worth the buy imo.
Next is, I've been short stacking 50nl. Started last night, not sure why. I was bored and wanted to try something "new." Bought in for $25 (50bbs ldo) and just kinda screwed around. Did pretty well last night, finished up like $20 at the end of the night. Hit the bed, woke up did it again this morning/afternoon for 3 hours. After those 3 hours I had played 1.3k hands, was +$180 and had cleared my $100 bonus from back in May. So pretty much so far today I've made ~$280, which I THINK is 1/2 of my best MONTH ever lol. Good day.
So this is my plan FOR NOW:
- Continue buying in for 50bb until $1750-2000, then BI for full 100bb.
- I was going to move my BR over to FTP for rakeback + bonus, but now that I'm playing 50nl, I feel I'll be able to get SN next year, so it makes more sense for me to stay on stars.
Also, I deposited $50 onto FTP for a "SnG BR." My SnG/MTT play is lolbad, so I'm going to start out at the smallest stakes ($1.25's) on there and grind my way up. I'd like to start playing more higher stake MTT's (remember, I'm used to 2.20's and 3.30's lol) like the Sunday 1/4 Million and actually have a chance of making it deep without being a TOTAL luckbox.
Alright, thats it for now. Probs gonna do another sesh tonight, we'll see.
Laterz
Sigh
I can only imagine how much money you would have made if your stacks were twice as large. Do they let you do that?
Go back to playing with big-boy stacks imo.
*sigh* Ppl be judging me for not using 100bb stack. :(
Ah well, tbh I don't really care. It's my blog and monies, and besides, I'll be switching to a 100bb stack like I said, so relax pplz.
You seem like an awesome person for sure.
It's just I will never respect these short stackers. There's coaching now as well as shortstacking teams. It's all just mathematics shit. Figure out a strategy using an equity program. There's 50NL shortstack regs. A ton of them. I'm surprised when I don't see at least one at my table. They're all buying in for 20bb though. I just don't want more to infect the game. I hope you make money and are happy whichever route you choose.
The whole god damn point of shortstacking is when u suck postflop. If u kick ass postflop buy in full and you have so much moar room to work with. If you blow balls postflop continue shortstacking.
[x] blows balls postflop :(Quote:

It really just boils down to the fact that I've been lazy and that my competition has been so weak that I've been able to get by just playing my cards and SOMETIMES thinking about what they have, usually after they jam over my river bet is when I start thinking about a range. :/
I've been a pathetic excuse for a poker player up til this point, and I'm going to change that from here on out. I cut back to ONE table of 25nl 100bb stack and just worked on ranges, looking for spots to be aggressive (I notice I'm kind of weak/tight postflop a lot, so I need to work on that too). It was pretty fun, I ended up running pretty laggy, something like 22/20 or thereabouts. Ended up like $5 so not a huge score, but I feel like way less of a POS about myself and hopefully this helps me improve and take my poker game to the next level. (I'm like 100% sure it will lol).
So, the last couple of days have been pretty uneventful. Played some 50nl with a 100bb stack. Ended up like 1.5 BIs so no complaints. Still working on putting opponents on ranges all the time. I find myself becoming lazy after about an hour or so and gradually stop thinking about the ranges and go back to robot style. Guess I'll have to start working on my stamina, too. :/
Also, since I've been back, I've done like zero reading of the "actual" forums. Like, I haven't gone into the BC/FR forums and looked at the hands some people are posting. Last night BooG and myself actually went through a pretty interesting hand. Doing that made me realize how much I miss doing that stuff, so plan on seeing more posts in the BC shortly.
Went to the casino last night. Probably not too smart considering I had only gotten 3 hours of sleep in the 48 hours prior to that, but wutever lol. Ended well, so I can't complain I guess. Bought in for $200 at midnight, left at 2am with $400. Frickin' Soaring Eagle was DEAD last night though. :( I was actually playing live 6 handed for pretty much the entire time. It's interesting, though. I was playing extremely well as the table was full of passive rocks which I assume are the equivalent of the regulars there. I recognized a couple of the guys from previous visits. I noticed that I played very aggressive and took down a bunch of small pots on the flop/turn. None of the others there adjusted for being shorthanded, so much the better. It's funny, as soon as the table filled up, I became such a nit. Like I got so weak/tight I was lol'ing at myself. I decided that was about the time to leave.
Played a $5.25 32 man HU SNG, busted in the 2nd round due to suckout early on. Can't remember the hand exactly, but I lol'd when he rolled it over. Played a $4.40 180 man at the same time, just busted like 20 minutes ago in 5th place for a cash of $46.
Thats it for now, just gotta keep reminding myself: ITS ALL ABOUT RANGES!!! Once I finally get that stuck in my head, massive profits will follow imo.
Lol live poker at soaring eagle.
Bah, I know right? It's always fucking dead in there, except for like, Monday nights cuz of the loldonkament. Ah well, its all got since I'm only 19. :( Don't chu be judgin' me lol.Quote:

I might have ended up like, $200? Less, more? Idk whatever. The important thing is I think I'm taking a step in the right direction with working on hand ranges at the table. I've been sticking with my 1 table of 25nl, nitty as I can find. Been working RIDICULOUSLY well. Exploiting nitty/weak/tight regs is what I was made for imo lol. (jokes) Since September has kicked off, I'm up 3.5 BI's over 254 hands. Heaterments ftw.
All of those winnings have come from small/medium pots, with very few showdowns. Ez game, amirite? My red line is awesome. My blue line is ok, green line is ballin'. Anyways, thats pretty much it. Nothing much else to report other than the USMC can suck my fat nut.

I also notice that I have been posting less and less in the actual forums and spending more time in IRC or just straight up playing. I think a lot of it has to do with I'm feeling really confident in my game now (sort of, at least compared to what it used to be) and I don't feel the need to be posting/studying all the time.
Which is also kind of a fault. By not studying/learning new things I will eventually fall behind the competition. I think I'll be getting back on track now, as I just bought a PC from a friend of mine that didn't want it anymore as he finished college last year and bought a new laptop. So, I've already installed HEM on it (the free trial for now) and I've downloaded Flopzilla (if u havent heard of it google it, u'll be amazed) and I've been working on ranges on different flops with it.
In real life matters, I'm kind of struggling. Like, ever since the middle of boot camp I've been having this sporadic, crazy ass thoughts. I talked to BooG about it the other night and he agreed that I should go see a psychiatrist as soon as I go to SOI, and I plan to. I was hoping it was just a boot camp thing, but its been almost 20 days since I've been out and I'm still having them + nightmares. LOL if you want, but I'm afraid to sleep at night or when people aren't in the house. :( Pretty pathetic a grown ass man can't sleep in his own apartment if no one is there. It's so messed up since boot camp wasn't really that hard, but I'm struggling with keeping my head on straight. It's fucking ridiculous. It hasn't really affected my playing or my social life, but I'm afraid it will at some point.
An example of some of the crazy thoughts I've been having is: I was coming home from Big Rapids yesterday and as I was driving I seen a car coming from the other direction and all of a sudden I wanted nothing more than to get into a head on collision with this car. It sounds ridic, but no shit, right at that moment I wanted to swirve and hit the other car head on. And just as fast that feeling was gone. Just shit like that. Some of the dreams I've been having are pretty messed up to, like I'll be at home and my whole family will be butchered and I have blood all over me, so I assume it was me that killed them, but I can never remember in the dreams. Or it'll be me dead and I'm kinda looking down on my own body. It's really fucked up and I usually wake up sweating and/or crying.
I sound like a hudge vagina I'm sure, but idc I guess. Some of you might think I'm FOS, but again I don't care. Just typing it out and letting someone else know makes me feel a lil better. Hopefully, talking to the psychiatrist will help out, too.
Anyways, thats it for now before this gets tl;dr. Dunno when I'll be able to post again, as I'll be at SOI but hopefully its soon.
I wouldn't worry about what people think (whether they think you're FOS or being whiney etc.) Just get an appointment as soon as possible and deal with the problem while it's relatively new before it causes you to do something you'll end up regretting. This is probably pretty normal for someone undergoing the type of training you've experienced, so I'm sure there is a solution to this. GL with things.
Living in big crapids makes me want to drive my car into a head on collision as well sir.
Lol thanks for those kind words Bbickes.
Anyways, so I've been at SOI for like 5 days now, turns out I'm going to be in the Reception Platoon until September 22, because thats when the next platoon picks up, so thats kind of gay. Other then that its pretty sweet. I was out in San Diego with some boot camp buddies and had a pretty good time. I'm not hating life nearly as much as I was the last time I posted and the goofy nightmares and shit have stopped for now, so thats a HUGE win. I've played zero poker for about a week now so that kinda sucks, but meh, i'll get around to it sometime lol.
Anyways thats all for now.
Good to hear the FMJness has gone away. NOW PLAY MOAR POKAR!
Wish I could man. :( I've gotten llike 12 hands in since I came out to SOI. The schedule is just too fucked up to be able to do it. :( and training hasnt even started yet. It sucks. Its ok tho, gives y'all a chance to pull ahead for a bit. ;) I'll update tomorrow as i'm going to LA tonight for drinking and fun times.
wtf going to LA? - jealous
what date are you back to just pokering??
Yea man, we get offbase weekend liberty and shit so its cool. We can go as far north as LA and as far south as San Diego usually so its pretty cool.
Sometime mid/late November at the soonest :/ blows hardcore. Ah wellz its all good. I'll survive I suppose. I'll get to play a lil bit on the weekends, but I doubt I'll get many hands in when I do as most of that time will be spent getting loldrunk. :)
Updates to come on LA trip, I got firewatch from 2000-2200 tonight then headin out. WOOOOOOOOP!
Damn I'll be at 600nl by then. So much for catchin up! :P
Lol, it feels like its been ages since I updated this thing. LA was fun, hooked with a Danish chick, so thats a win. Other then at all I did was get drunk.
I'm not going to post publicly what happend on Sunday, those who I've told are probably going to be the only one's who will knwo for now until its over. I'd appreciate it if those who DO know keep it under wraps for now as well.
Anyways, in poker news, I moved $500 of my $1600 roll over to Cake poker for rakeback, and a cheap way to learn HU poker. (They have 20nl tables there.) I have a few more outside reasons for doing this, but I'll post those in teh future as well.
Played a short session tonight as the tables died out after a while. I sat with 4 seperate people throughout the session and I'm pretty sure one of them was a "reg." He had auto top on, and was playing on two seperate tables. His play was about as solid as I could expect at this level, but he had some spazzy tendencies as well. He snap 3b shoved 33 on a 256 board vs. my JJ towards the end of the session. I guess thats not a terrible move, but i was kind of loling to myself when he exploded in the chat at how "bad" I am even though I walked away with 1.5 BI's from his ass. :) Everyone else seemed to be fishy. I managed to suckout on one of the fish with a set of 3's on the flop, we got it in on the turn (when he hit a gutshot lolz) and I hit my FH on the river. Overall 2.5 BI's on the night. Tables are dead on there so I'll hop on stars for a bit now. BAI
You're a whore. Please tell me more about Cake and how easy it is.
P.S. You shouldn't hide things from FTR. Just be open about it. Tell them what happened between you and iopq. We're going to find out in a matter of hours anyway.
LOL, u know what I'm talking about you whore, and I think you can understand why I don't want explain my circumstances to the FTR community as a whole. I'll post it later on when its all over.Quote:

You dun like my pretty superwimmanz? Which "old one" are you referring to? The south park character? The brunette in the teddy? or SJU?
Also, I'm letting this blog die. I'm still doing really well, I've moved up to 50nl and I'm doing good there so far. I just hate how results oriented I got when I wrote about poker and everything. I might start another one soon, but we'll see. God, even my title is results oriented lol.
the brunette

New Avatar idea: make a scary kitten man using "paint" like half monster, half cute kitten. Use it to tilt the 50NL regs with me.
Congrats on the good start to fiddy ennels man, keep updating da blog and try to forget about short term results imo.
oh shit, congrats on the transition to small stakes!
remember this from page 1 of your first OP.Quote:

Alright, you got me Keith (and carroters). I'll keep with this one I suppose. I just dont want to be posting only negative results and shit like I used to. I'll just change the name to something else. (BooG already knows lolz)
Anyways for an update:
Things have been ok lately. Nothing too exciting. As m2m said, I'm up to the small stakes (teh fiddy) which is ballin'. Especially since Keith posted that first post from my first blog. Pretty sick, considering my BR (on stars) hit $1700 yesterday and I have $300+ across two other sites (all coming from that inital $10 deposit) so I've accomplished that goal of "thousands."
I think I'm getting sick again. Fucking sucks. Coughing up phlegm (sp?), nose is running/stuffed (hate that), etc etc. Ah wells, went out to help my brother track a deer tonight. Blood trail was pretty thick, but eventually just kind of tapered off after we crossed a creek and went up a huge hill. We found one more spot of blood and then it just kinda vanished. It was about 830 at this point so it was dark so we just marked it with an arrow, and we're heading back out tomorrow.
I've been lazy when it comes to working out and eating right. I need to get on a consistent schedule for both. Also, I need to get on a proper sleep schedule. This stay up for a day, sleep 11 hours, stay up for 35 hours shit has got to stop ffs. From now on, 6-9 hours of sleep a night. Bed no later then 2am, etc.
I also need to work on playing on my A game at all times. None of this spewing on my B game bullshit. B game Bull shit = less mannies.
You posted pics of fucking pork and THIS makes it NSFW?

No BooG, but this does imo.
I just wrapped up a session of teh 50enels. I dun wanna be results oriented but I lost 2 BIs. By far the swing swongiest session ever. Started out normally, 12 tabling, nothing too exciting. Then I get a stack on one of the tables and i notice a huge fish to my left thats also 200bb deep. He's running 65/30ish at this time over about 30some hands. So i keep an eye on it
Few hands later I get KK (GIN IMO) and he limps (or some shit I forget) and I raise, he calls. Flop comes 5s3sKh (SHIP!) He checks I bet he minraises, I minraise back for lulz, he tanks then ships it. SNAPCALL (ldfo) He has A4. No spades. A naked gutshot and he ships it 200bb deep. Turn is obviously a 2 and its gg sir bye, bye $100 imo.
After that its pretty uneventful, got a stack with AA> AK vs him, then lost 88 < AT, then got a stack with KJ > K6, then lost a stack vs a nit with AA < QQ. Thats pretty much night. Lolz. Anyways, I'mma try to cut back on these types of posts in the future, but there was just way too much lulz for me to not do it.
BAI!
So its been a rough few days. Friday was only the beginning of a case of the runbads. Not to say I haven't spewed, becuz omfg I have. I was talking to m2m about some stuff, and I told him about 3 hands that I could thing of off the top of my head where if I had folded, or not tried to go for "thin value" where there wasnt any, I'd be +2 more BIs than I am right now. So that leads me to believe there are more bad calls, bad folds, bad raises, etc leading to even more BIs lost needlessly. Kind of demoralizing, but I'm glad that I'm over bitching about how bad I run.
Moved my whole roll over to FTP so I can rack up the rakeback and stuff. I'm going to be dropping down to 10nl for the time being, due to confidence issues, but I'm going to be getting a coach coming up here soon. I won't tell you who it is until its over with, but it should be pretty sweet and I'm really looking forward to it. He should really help me focus on my game and not worry about the bullshit. :)
Thats all for now folks.

I hate you dranger because I wanted that bear as avatar
lol MY BAD! Gotta move faster imo. :)
at least that bear ain't anorexic and has got better legs than supermimman..even if they are a bit hairy.
I've been talking with m2m via IRC and msn and I notice that the majority of the time I'm talking, I'm bitching about beats, or how my hand didn't come in, etc etc. FUCK THAT. I'm sounding like a whiny bitch. There's no excuse for a player who's played as many hands as I have to still be complaining about everyday shit that happens at the table. I'm DONE tilting like a 2nl nub. From now on, if I bitch about a beat or something along those lines (this doesnt include comments on how my session went: i.e.: "down 2 BI's this session") I'll ship m2m or BooG $1. Whichever replies to this first. :)
Thread needs more NSFW imo.

BooG is zi vinner.
I've been playing some seriously undisciplined poker. I'm making some stupid plays with no more reasoning than, "fuck it." So yea, this shit has got to stop. Its getting to be ridiculous. Betting when an A hits the board on the river with the intention of b/f but deciding to call when he shoves when I have KK is just omg.
DISCIPLINE IS KEY MORAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah.....wtf are u doing?
Still at "fitty" nl?
Nope, I dropped down from 50 to 25, spewed some more so I dropped down again, even though I'm way overrolled for 10, but my game needs work so dropping down it is.
Mission Stop Spewing Like A Tard is accomplished. I talked to m2m after playing ~800 hands today and still spewing in IRC and gave him some stats from recently and he pretty much slapped me in the face and told me to settle the fuck down. 10nl is 10nl. Its the fucking micros. Bet/bet/shove is all u need to do here. I finally bought into it again, settled the fuck down, tightened up my game, and value bet the shit out of retards tonight. Finished with 2800 hands, +9.5 BIs. Let's keep this gravy train rolling.
I feel so much better now that I've had a solid winning session again. I'll be looking back to 25nl at ~1500. Probably play there when I'm feeling good, and motivated to grind. Call me a BR nit, I don't care anymore. After the swing I just had, I'd rather have 100 BIs for a limit with almost no risk of ruin, than 30 Bis for a limit and a significantly higher RoR. *pats self on back* Letting go of ego is fun. :)
Good job dranger. I ruined last night haha :( Oh well debating on sticking around for a bit rebuilding who knows. Glad to see you are doing goood. <3 Ill still be around IRC

With rakeback I made like idk, $300? So I guess its not a huge fail, but I expect more out of myself. Next month will be better obviously.
I think my biggest problem at the moment is being too impatient to make money at this game. I make moves where I shouldn't be and I'm just all around playing extremely undisciplined poker lately. I plan on changing that in the very near future.
Thanks for bumping this xpaand and Play To Win, good to see both of you are still around. I'll try to keep this a lil more interesting from now on. :P
No posts in 2010? I've spent the last two weeks tracking your progress from $10 to $2000 and then it ends suddenly.
Is there a link to another thread where the saga continues?
