Yeah, hand 3 should be checked back on the river.
The reason I can't call hand 5 protection is that I can't take or apply any heat at all on the turn or river. If called or raised, I'm dead to 2 outs.

I've been running pretty well in B+M and I've been meaning to play more live poker, so I'm going with that. I'll probably just keep up iron man and maybe play a few sessions here and there on cake, but I'll be at the woods 3 or 4 times a week so I wont be putting in a ton of hours.
I'll try to do 4-6 tables of 50 or 100nl every day for iron man and post hands here. If I don't have time then I'll just short stack out the feeps. I really don't want to do that anymore...
i finally got around to trying to watch them! and now i'm struggling getting the rar files to work. Google, here i come...Quote:

I used to be pretty much a laggtard before and after the flop. I think the reason I calmed down preflop and started getting more comfortable in weird spots post-flop is the regs at cake. I short stacked the mid-stakes games there for so long I saw a lot of post-flop play that just blew me away. I spent more time reviewing the stats and big hands of the good regs than I did reviewing my own play (SSing is so dull anyway).
I was going to do another vid but my throat is really sore. I've been 6 tabling 50nl on FT and switching out the bad or mediocre tables 2 at a time.
I'm teetering between 50nl and 100nl BR-wise, so instead of stressing over it I'll just check my BR at the beginning of a session and go wherever it tells me to.
I'm finding myself going a little crazy with the more agro fish. There was one that just ran way too good against me, and I countered by paying him off over and over. So there! It sucks to lose a few buyins to a complete moron. He ran like 45/9/7/100ish but I managed to get most of the money in while I was behind. The worst was the first big hand I played against him, I barreled 3 streets and he called down with 22 unimproved.

I'm having trouble dealing with people minraising my cbets. I used to minraise a lot of cbets when short stacking on cake, but only because a minraise on the flop commits my entire stack. When people do it deeper I just find myself taking odds and basically showing my hand strength by calling.
Just watched a Vital Myth leakfinder video on cardrunners where he talked a lot about bet sizing. I'm going to focus a bit on that for a while and see if I can eek out an extra bb/100 or so.
Made my 2nd and 3rd 50nl videos, they're about half an hour long. There's a few interesting spots, but I think the first one was more interesting. Hopefully that means I'm playing well... You decide! If anyone wants them, just pm me and I'll pm you the link, I don't really want them available for random people to watch.

I hate this board, but I don't know what he'll check behind with on the flop. KK is the only hand that really just got there. I am turning QQ into a bluff, but if I don't I'm just giving up on a really big pot, and I just couldn't have that.

hand 6 :?
can you elaborate on your thinking?
I'd comment, but confidence is a bit shot atm. Dont feel good about giving advice when I'm not doing so well myself.
hand 6 is terrible, either 5 bet shove pre or fold, as played I have no idea why your betting the turn and neither do you, he never folds better and your generally always getting tarped by ak/aa/kk, just c/f postflop.
hand 7: fine, guy probs has 88-1010.
hand 8: No idea why u didnt bet flop, your arguement of 'im not ahead of his calling range so why bet' is ridiculous, you bet to build a pot for when u hit your spade/ jack.
hand 9: fold flop.
hand 10: seems fine, you obv get shown 10x a decent amount of the time but also complete air worse 9x a decent amount to.
This isn't really logical. We're building a pot when we're behind? Betting could be the correct play, but it can't be just to build a pot against a range that beats us. Implied odds -might- make up for it, but think of how scary the board is after we hit.Quote:

On top of that I took down the previous pot with a similar 3bet of the same loose raising fish. I kinda defaulted to a call when I hated both a fold and a raise, even tho calling could possibly be the worst of the three.
On the turn I figured I can't call anything and he can easily steal the pot with anything that I beat if I check to him twice. I picked a raise size that doesn't cost me much but still looks credible.
If I was happy about how I played it then it probably wouldn't be here, so take all this with a grain of salt. Looking back, I think the 5bet shove option was best.
assuming stats are vpip-pfr-AF-hands?
hand 1 - with villain's stack size I like this, assuming your play means that you put villain on a weak min-steal-4-bet range. Otherwise I consider folding pre cos this is aces without reads.
hand 2 - 3-bet pre bigger cos you're deep and out of position etc. As played villain's range is so wide - he's in position and deep. He beats AK or he's bluffing, so his range is 44/TJ/flushes/air. Not many flushes cos you have the ace. I make a high variance river call.
hand 3 - check turn behind and be ready to fold river unimproved.
hand 4 - punish the sb limper and raise pre. Turn raise to $4, call river
hand 5 - i don't mind folding this flop, i also don't mind calling. Expect to see KT/22/JQ/KQ
hand 6 - i give up. Sometimes it's ok to give up. You gave up pre-flop by calling pre-flop out of position and without set odds anyway. Bet $17 if you're going to bet.
hand 7 - pre-flop good. Flop good. Turn I do this a lot and I think it's a leak. Post the hand in the SH forum
hand 8 - wtf bet flop $4-$5.cos c-betting is good. Hell, you effectively put in cbet money anyway on a turn that paired the board and turned your draw into scary reverse implied odds territory. He's not c-raising any of his range on the flop so you get a free turn if you c-bet. People have crazy calling ranges sometimes, he may even call 66. You disguise your hand when the flush hits, he'll stack off with 66 when 6s comes. If he does cr then you shove with huge equity and tilt-a-fish who is the dead money you want to be targeting anyway. You want this fish to think you're an aggro bastard who stole his money. You want him plotting to get it back during the next few orbits. Etc...Quote:

you expect him to bluff when you check twice so you bet?
@ lolz: I expect him to shove when I check twice and I'm not calling. So betting $13 to take the pot some % of the time is better than check/folding.
@ daven: Hand 6 - I like my bet size tbh. It was such a weird dynamic, but if he has like JJ or something there he really can't call or shove.
My pokarz:
So Monday I had a hell session. I ran horribly bad, and when I was going to end the session I didn't because there were some prize fish on my tables. Those prize fish continued to walk on water against me for an extra hour or so. I was going to post a rant with HHs, but I decided it wasn't really worth it. That shit just happens.
The last 2 days went pretty well, I was playing 100nl again today and won a couple buyins.
My poker thoughts:
1) I bumhunt. I sit at the loosest tables I can find and leave if I don't have position on an awful limping and calling mess. I thought about something the other day tho. I was at a table where the two players on my left were loose and passive, and the three to my right were all taggy. I was about to leave the table and then I realized that when I'm in the CO or button, I had position on the worst of the 2 fish. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that position relative the the fish doesn't matter quite as much as I had originally thought. Some positions are better than others, but If the fish is there, you can get your shots in on him.
2) So people just throw money at you sometimes. There's really no need to force anything.
3) People aren't getting hyper agro with draws as much as I'm used to. I find myself spazzing out with like TPGK on drawy boards. I can let those hands go a bit more than I have been.
I just recorded a 100nl ssession. There were a bunch of interesting spots, so I'd love to get some reviews on it. PM me for the link.
I felt like a 3bet quite a bit, but my 3bet stat was only like 6%. So... I'm still working out how it can be more profitable it is to 3bet a PFR rather than flat in position and play a flop.
Slowing down on draws seems like the new cool thing to do. Give it three more months and going nuts on bare FDs will be awesome with perceived ranges strengthening atm. Today theres little to do for me at work, pm me the link if u want me to have a look at it.
PM sent.
Played a morning session online, won 360. Roommate wanted to go to the sun, so I went to mohegan, won 970 in 1:40 on the best live table I've ever seen. Went to the woods to check on some friends and made another bill. I hung out with other friends and played a 40 buyin drunken cash game and won 160.
Even with the 138+42 tip bar tab I'll take the grand+ day. :shipit:
:shipit: indeed! Nice day :)
Shipped a partners tourney yesterday playing omaha 8/b while my partner played the limit HE portion. It was a cash tourney with a satellite-style prize pool, the prizes were (per team) 4k, 4k, 4k, $222. We chopped 4 ways for a profit of $1328/person. I'll take it. That's $3g in 3 days. Playing live, this kind of stuff happens, but then it's -$2g in 4 or 5 days, and you feel sick.
My goal of playing more live poker this month has worked out pretty well. I still need 5 more days at 200fpp/day for iron man this month, so I'll be finishing that up and maybe playing one good 5 hour day online to finish off the month.

Not going to fold first hand at table v's unknown bvb. I'd probably call this and not fold any street unless its a Q. I might not call both turn and river if a club came on the turn, but I'd probably call if it hit on the river.
So are we calling and check/calling the turn and river?
Well we have position, so normally what I do with a FD out like this is call turn if he bets, or bet turn if he checks (assuming its a blank). Rivers a bit more interesting if he checks and its blank. I probably check behind then kick myself when he shows KQ or something.

Pretty awesome, nice stuff :)
I've tagged a bunch of hands for review mid-session, but I haven't gotten the time to post them. I'll be catching up over the next week or so. Any time I get too comfortable in a game I know it's time to re-examine my play.

i got halfway through that last vid and have scrawled down loads of notes. I'll finish it and send it through this week.
For now, some hands...
1) AJ i like. Raising flop for value perhaps? Definitely check river behind.
2) AQ wow. You're pretty sure about that FD/88 risk huh? Pre-flop good. Flop good. Turn I probably raise to $20 often.
3) A2 Villain is usually gonna be raising flop with nut flush draw, so I bet-fold turn. As played bet-fold river.
4) JQ I'm lost. I'm not sure about your penchant for c-c turn though.
5) 77. Calling vs wide ranges oop.. what's his c-bet frequency? are you bluffing on the turn? River will generate a fold from fish and decent players, and a call with JJ type of hands from mediocre players.
QJ hand is such a tweener that I'm not really sure either. This is one hand where I didn't actually c/c the turn tho.
77 hand... I accidentally switched the stats on these two hands.
On the flop I figured it missed his range a lot and hit mine some. On the turn I figured he'd have floated the flop and I wanted to charge him to draw or get him off of 2 overs. On the river, since he only flatted the flop and turn, I figured I had repped a ten pretty well, so I bet again expecting a fold from almost his entire range. Should he be showing up with a T here ever?
About the c/c turn thing...
I think I'm finding myself with hands with showdown value that I bet oop on the flop and want to pot control. So I check, then it's like opening the door for a bluff, so I'll c/c the turn and 50/50 c/c river or c/f river.
b/f turn is probably better in a lot of spots. I didn't realize how often I'm missing obvious bet/fold situations until Ben reviewed that first 50nl vid I did.
Some days you just shouldn't play poker.

Shortly after this pot I donned my blue helmet.
On the flop, I literally looked at the board and thought to myself, "I don't want to stack off here" and then I proceeded to stack off... I haven't done anything like that in a while, it's unnerving. So I took yesterday off and I'm back to play today.
So I got home last night sober and decided to get my iron man play in then, so I did. I woke up early this morning and felt like mixing things up so I fired up some donkaments. I just don't have the stamina for these damn things. I was out of the only big one in the first blind level, and I'm kind of glad. Now I just have a few smaller, quicker ones, and it's still taking too fucking long.
I normally play <1 hr/session. This MTT stuff is just too much.
+$576.50 on the day for donkaments. Good stuff, but I doubt I'll be doing this more than a couple times a month.
I do that donkament thing about once a month also. Unlike you though my problem is I play them too tight. I can easily fire 2-3 and only play 1-2 hands in the first hour and sit there bored as hell wondering why the heck I thought this would be fun.
I'm really agro early in tourneys, especially online. Most of the big-edge plays we have are for later in the tourney. You make your money at bubble time at end game, so earlier on I'll mess around a lot with possibly bad plays. I trust reads very early and try to pigeon-hole players. If I am right, I build a stack, if I'm wrong, I fire up another tourney. It might drop my ROI a bit, but it will increase my $/hr.
I posted in Jym's op about interval training and breaks and I think I should be taking my own advice. I've considered setting up some kind of work day where I devote a certain block of time to poker. If I devote 6 hours to poker say between 1pm and 7pm, then I'd pregame for 5 minutes or so, then play for an hour, take a quick break, either review or play again or post hands right up to 7pm, then call it a day. Without structure I'm finding myself not playing or posting or reviewing much at all.
Ben was posting about opening up a bit and turning into a nit. I've recently opened up a bit OOP and really not tried to change my ranges from late position at all and here's the last 10k or so:

As long as you don't pass that point you should be fine of course, if you know you need to open up a bit just don't stretch it - but I'm sure you're aware of this :D
You're both right. Interestingly it doesnt take that many hands to balance an UTG range for instance. If your 'value' range is 4% then you only need to open 8% total to have 50/50 value/bluffs.
HHs generally look good to me. Hand 1 I suck at knowing what to do with 3-bet bluffs postflop, so I go either way here. At worst its never too bad just to play them purely for their EV preflop. 2,4 and 5 all look fine as played, NHs. 3 is the really interesting one, and you really need to know his postflop tendencies to answer it though. As a default I probably call flop fold turn, but if he's particularly aggro we could call down.
Op news:
I only short stack now when I don't really feel up to the challenge of playing. Getting 200 points for iron man takes about 5-10 minutes less when I short stack, but that's not really enough to give up full stacking if I feel I can play.
I've only had 2 shortstacking sessions this month and I've played all but one day. So if the main objective of this op was to get into mostly full stacked poker, it's complete.
Who the hell wants to short stack when people are capable of doing this?

I'm interested in your bet sizing here. I thought we 3bet at least to 3x but more like 3.5x-4x when OOP, and is that how much you typically cbet in 3bet pots? There could obv. be a number of factors associated with sizing so I'm just curious about your thought process.
The biggest factor in my decision to bet $20 was that it was a PL table (I think it should be 22, but yeah PL). I would normally go closer to 4x here.
I suppose that matters! :D

So I just finished Iron Man for the month on FTP.... in a total of 22.08 hours.
I figured iron man would get me playing daily and get my hours up, but it hasn't really had that effect since I'm playing like 40 minute sessions. I'm considering going for iron man on FTP and platinum star on PS in the same month. It would be difficult to split my roll tho.
I withdrew most of my cake roll. I left 560ish in there and I'm trying to massively multitable 50nl FR with 60bb to get gold cards and maybe get some loot in the gold card race. After an hour and 800 hands I hadn't gotten a single card, so I decided to continue for 5k hands and then try shorting 100nl for another 5k. I want some data on how much it can increase my earn. If things go well then I may use this for my extra play time instead of stars. It's easier since I already have money in cake and I'm so used to multitabling there.

[15:11] <Dev> i fucking hate full tilt.

[15:14] <Dev> software freeze.... both hands against world class fish.
[15:25] <Dev> Just sent a nasty email... bah.
[15:26] <Dev> TBH the AQ hand might not have turned out well, the fish was in the middle and folded to that raise anyway, and the other player was like a 13/10. The AA hand was against a guy who almost certainly would have been going broke with any draw, K or Q.
So I lost almost $900 on the first day of the month. Some of it was subtle tilt, some of it was beats. Either way I'm dropping back down to 100nl for a while and probably going to 4 table. I figure, since FTP is freezing up on me a lot it'll hurt less if there's only 4 tables and I'll be able to focus my game a bit more.
Wow this month is starting off swingy. 36 hours ago I was down 1100, now I'm up almost 1200. Still down 600ish online, and I'll probably be stuck at 100nl for at least a week or two unless I get some serious time in and run well. I've decided to keep it down to 4 tables for a while, so that might slow me down but I need the grounding, I'm starting to go on autopilot again.
Holy hell I'm running bad.
It's like everyone who sees a flop against me with a small pair hits a set, every time I hit a set someone hit's a straight. I even lost a 300bb pot HU where I 3bet, hit a set, guy called with nothing at all on the flop and backed into a flush. He didn't even have an over.
Oddly, I feel more bored about it then anything else. It's like oh, this again.
I'm probably going to take tomorrow off, maybe Monday as well. I can't take too much time off tho because of iron man.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention... fuck full tilt, fuck them up their stupid asses for all the software freezes.
Hit some burnout from some runbad and tilt from full tilt's new software freezes. I skipped a couple of iron man days, but I'm in better spirits now and I'm going to grind a few thousand points over the weekend.
Wtf are you doing with your software? I´ve had the FT client freezing like once during 14k since their latest update. Whatever the reason may be, I think software issues cost me like 1BB/100 long term back at ongame, so I can see where this is coming from. Good luck you get that shit fixed soon.
I emailed support, they haven't gotten back to me.
I just checked the thread I started in the online poker forum and tried the fix there... on my way out but hopefully when I play again it'll work out.
The fix worked. No more freezing, so that's good. I continue to slack off and run bad, but I'm planning on getting a few hours in per day over the next week or so.
Assumptions...
When a fish calls a cbet on a dry board, I generally give up and almost never barrel.
Folded to my SB with T9o-ish hand, fish in the bb. It seems bad to fold, and bad to build a pot, so I call and wonder if I'd be better off raising. I'd only be raising to take it away with a cbet, and since more often than not the fish don't fold to cbets that seems bad. So, without reads, I'm open limping small blinds.
I've been losing a lot of money lately when villains with really weak ranges aren't folding things I expect them to fold. I'm thinking I need to redefine 'weak' for the purposes of bluffing.

$2223.30 at the end of the month... it seemed a lot worse. I really gotta get some volume in online.
/x-post
So in the interest of getting in more volume, it's time for a goal. Part of the reason I made the move to FTP is that I figured iron man would motivate me to play more often. It's worked, sort of. I'm playing more often (read: more days), but for less time. I've averaged somewhere in between 30 and 35 hours per month and that's simply not enough.
The idea was to play poker online for a living so that I was free to do what I want and be where I want, but as it stands I need to continue to play live just pay the bills. So here goes, a modest goal for this month, and a buildup to something greater.
September: 80 hours of play time, focusing on 4-6 tables.
October: 100 hours of play time
November: 120 hours
I'm running a little behind on hours, and I feel like I'm running pretty bad.
Playing fewer tables and focusing on hours instead of hands is doing wonders for my thought process.
With fewer tables I'm finding the game more enjoyable, but until I get some massive volume in I have to assume I'm making less money overall. I do play for a living and I have to cash out regularly so I have to come to some kind of equilibrium between most money and most learning. Maybe I'll do something like an hour a day of 4 tabling and then a few hours of 8-10 tabling. I don't know, ideas appreciated.
I'm sort of conditioning myself to balance hours with volume.
Something I find that works for me (because I play between 2 stakes) is play the higher stake for a few hours on a low number of tables to help condition my thought process, then later on play a couple hours at the lower stake but juice up the volume, build the roll, and learn how to make smart decisions quicker, eventually reaching the point where adding more tables becomes trivial.
That's very spoonish. It makes me consider the implications of Josh Waitzkin's book on a poker player.
I don't really have issues dropping stakes or moving up, but when I'm rolled for a certain stake I tend not to ever play a lower stake. I suppose I could try out your idea when I get back to 200nl (looks like it's right around the corner).
The other issue is that I'm considering putting some of my roll into bodog for football betting and for playing against football betters. The cash games there have been really good during the NFL season in the past, so I'm expecting some good action. Since you can only play 4 tables max there, maybe use bodog for my conditioning and FTP for my moneymaking. In fact, putting the conditioning part in a box like that should be great for outlook and emotional control.
So I realized today that I don't even know why my hud is setup the way it is. I set it up a long time ago, and I've forgotten what some of the numbers mean. I've been clicking the 3bet stat to find the fold-to-3bet stat when it was already there, next number down the line.
Right now it's set to
name/hands/profit
vp$ip/pfr/steal/3bet/fold-to-3bet/4bet
AF/Cbet/fold-to-cbet
I might spend some time researching what other players are doing. I've never wanted to be a hudbot, so I don't think I'll do too much of my own work on this one, but I might revisit some of the threads that made me put steal% on there in the first place (which is a stat I use constantly).
I've been going through this cycle of loosening and tightening my game. I start to understand a situation or an opponent and I start calling and raising them more before the flop and value betting thinner later on. Then I go too far and start trying to plan for every possibility before making any move and I get tighter because there are too many unknowns. Call & re-eval becomes fold. I understand the arguments against any line where someone says 're-eval' but I find myself folding too tightly. Then I go back during a session review and think about what I could have done and I find that raising>calling>folding. I started writing this paragraph thinking that this is something I need to stop, but now I'm thinking it's just the learning process... nm. :P
Just read thru Griffy's 3000th post. Hopefully it keeps going for a bit.
One issue that was brought up was that a lot of us play better when someone is watching. I remember I was pretty happy with how I played when I made videos, and started talking to myself while I was playing as if I was still doing a video. I think it worked pretty well. I'm going to start doing that again.
Also, if anyone wants a sweat, I'm down. I'll be the little spoon or the big spoon.
I'm running pretty bad, questioning my plays a lot, and having to force myself to play. So here's the plan:
Play 50nl for 10k hands with a winrate > 3ptbb/100 before going back to 100nl. If it starts rough then I'll be playing more than 10k hands probably, I'm just looking for a 10k block with a decent winrate.
sweat sometime soon then.
I am playing better than ever before. And can still see no shortage of areas for improvement.
Lemme know when you're available Daven.
The 50nl experiment is not exactly doing wonders for my confidence:
http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/260...experiment.jpg
I'm a little drunk right now so don't mind if I go on a rant.
I got over the 10k mark at 50nl today.
http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/5...xperiment1.jpg
So, with AIEV coming out even, I'm well over the mark for ptbb/100. The goal, however, was actual ptbb/100. I fell short.
btw, rakeback wasn't actually in that graph. For some reason HEM is adding that to the legend at the bottom.
difference between 100nl and 50nl for me
- I was playing 4-6 tables of 100nl, for this experiment I've been playing 10-16 tables of 50nl.
- I stopped listening to music while I played at 100nl. I left the music on for 50nl.
- winrates over past 10k: 100nl: -5, -1.3AIEV; 50nl: 2.6, 4.75AIEV
I made changes to my routine with the best intentions. I've gotten in the habit of doing my reviewing while I play and it's led me to a bad headspace for playing. My plan now is to continue what I'm doing at 50nl, only do it at 100nl. I'll save the study for after the sessions.
I'll decide tomorrow whether or not I'll go back to 100nl or stay at 50nl to hit my goal of 3ptbb/100 over 10k hands. On one hand it seems kind of pointless to play 50nl, on the other hand I made a goal and it seems like a bad idea not to hit it before I move on.

/ mini-op
I ran at 3.57 ptbb/100, 5.76ptbb/100 adjusted for EV. This kind of pisses me off. Even when I was consistently beating 100nl, it was only for like 2ptbb/100. Here I was doing an op to get my confidence back but ended up aggravated. I'm wondering wtf was I doing wrong at 100nl. Anyway, Ima take some time to relax and then get back to the grind at 100nl... minimum 8 tables, music on.
I've made a few odd river calls lately.
You know that donk line where they bet really small on the flop and turn and blast a 'blank' river that isn't really blank because they just hit a set or backed into a straight. Yeah, I call that too much.
So there's a sticky note on my monitor now that says "HE'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE BLUFFING HERE" Problem solved. (hopefully)
Is 83% flop cbet standard for you? Seems pretty high/exploitable.
By the way the sticky note strategy is so good, I cleaned up a few leaks this week with it.
I'm running at 76% and I'm checking back the flop with A LOT OF showdown value type handsQuote:

I used to have a really high cbet %, now it feels pretty low but for me it works I guess. Maybe I need to cbet more.
Yes, it's exploitable. I cbet like a monkey throwing shit until people start exploiting it. I barrel a lot, too. Pretty much the only hands I check back by default are medium-strength showdown hands and hands that have the deck crushed. I'm working on checking behind and giving up a bit more, but cbetting just seems too profitable to me vs. unknowns.
When I dropped to 50nl for 10k hands of confidence-building, I stopped respecting my opponents as much as I had been. Then I just opened the aggression back up. So far so good, but we'll see how far I take it. If history has anything to say about it, I'll end up barreling myself into situations where a reg raises me on the river and I call with like 3rd pair.
I'm getting better at folding the hopeless ones and raising when it's an obvious spot for a tagg to play back at me. If I continue the way I'm going and study a bit more then the sky's the limit.
Counting RB, I broke $1000 profit today. It's the first time since September 4th, and I only did it once in August. I honestly think I've been running bad for 2 months. I'm glad today things were better.
I was way behind on hours this month. I never really thought 80 hours should be difficult. I'm not spending much time studying, it's just that 80 solid hours of play time is tough for me. This is my job and I'm not happy just paying my bills. I'm going to fix it.
About studying: I had the wrong idea about fixing waning confidence. I thought grinding 10k hands at a lower limit would fix it, but I now realize study time works better. Nothing gets you ready for the grind like learning something new.

bet sizing is incredibly bad in hand 2
Agreed. It was late and I was probably laughing at the chat too much to pay attention to the hand. I was running laggy as hell on that table so bigger bet sizing probably got as much or more action than the power min-raise kind of stuff.Quote:

I really played bad live. I'm planning on playing more online and less live this month. I also plan on studying a bit. It should be a project since I barely made the 80 hour goal I set for myself last month.
October:
100hrs online
Study
Find ways to focus while playing live
If I break $5k this month, I'm buying a treadmill.

Just looking quick and I'm also not in the right frame of mind to analyze anything, but the turn call seems bad.
The raise looked like isolation with some kind of one pair hand. The SB's bets are basically expensive checks. When we all just called we all look really weak. I'm getting better than 2:1 pot odds, much better implied. I have to think a 7 is good, probably a 6 or 5 as well, but not for sure. I seriously thought there was a chance he was drawing to a flush there, too. As played, river?
