Hollywood being on the Ongame network is usually fishy (but high variance) and the 7x bonuses are much harder to clear since they changed their structure to contributed rake. I will do the simple 5x $100 bonus on Hollywood as soon as I have cleared the Eurobet/Interpoker boni.
I think the Interpoker bonus clears very fast, just a shame the tables are so tight there.

i play kinda 6-8 tables. have switched to hollywood and 6 tabling only. Reason being players are poor overall and easy to beat and software is abit too slow to happily multi so instead play 6, make better reads and ill profit more at 6 tables than 8.Quote:

Im sure im on just an extended heater ATM but 200NL seems v soft. Im also now thinking that short stacks of 50-100 dollars in these games are terrible players (worse than other shorties at 50NL or 100NL). They just donate everything.
BTW guys im reconsidering how i play AK to a 3 bet OOP from villians with PFR of 9%.
Also anyone get PAHUD to work with Hollywood??? tho i know it cant to kepty up to date during a session since their is a massive lag time when importing.

How many tables at once can you fire up at once on the Ongame network? My laptop runs towards a standstill if I try more than 2 tables. Sucks.
i tried 6-8 tables but 8 is too much when i started on the site. too different to just jump into 8 tabling. so went 4 then 6, 7 tabling 100NL seemed comfortable. when moving to 200NL i just played on all the 200Nl tables available, maybe 3 200NL tables going so ill just play them. If there is only 1 200NL ill have another 3-5 100NL tables open but focus on the 200NL mostly.Quote:

I was played back at so so must. constantly minraised but i couldnt hit a flop. Sounds like im lacking confidence now or exaggerating but it really happened so so often, to the point i thought everyone was making a play on me and i couldnt adpat with A high anyway.
Conclusion im gonna have to tighten up my play abit to get some wins together.
I did do some bad things tho today besides these hands. i went straight into 200NL even tho the games werent juicy, didnt move coz the tables didnt get any better (tight/nits everywhere), didnt focus, was autopiloting.
Gonna step down to 100NL for a fews wins then pop back up or just take 2m off.

In 6max its an easy reraise, but in fr im guessing the reraise range here is much tight considering the position of the opener.
Just play solid and tight in the 200NL game there. They're not smarter. Just the same bunch of retards you find in 100NL. You got real unlucky in all of those hands. But you did lose about as little as you could have.
The only guy I might keep an eye on is HamChoppedUp. He's the only name that I recognize as being decent, but still very basic. I'm sure you've run into him at the 100NL tables. All the regulars at 200NL are the same guys at 100NL. It's the same game.

dropped $240 last night in just under 400 hands. Went on tilt and left!!!! Cant say why i tilted but im happy i realised it and left my house. Got stack in a flopped flush over flush (getting it AI on flop too). KK got sucked out on in 2 small pots when AI PF. the rest was c/b's getting floated/loose calls etc. What annoyed me most was 2 flops I c/b'ed and I knew the texture wasnt good for me and good for opp but i still bet and lost the pot in some way.
Anyway ill get back into it tonite, might look for a 6 max site instead of playing 5 max.
played some prima 6 max. defo nice to play 6 max instead of 5 max as a transition from FR personally. I think ive adpated quickly esp. since most cardrunners vids are 6 max anyway and ive watched plenty of them.

Hmm I have been thinking and I know im way overrolled for 100NL 6max. So even tho im running meh-like at the moment if im feeling good tonight ill try 200NL (have forced myself to play tired last 2 sessions). I have the feel for 100NL now and while my stats arent in line with the standard rates i may aswell try it anyway and continue to improve there.
I only 4 table coz more than that seems crazy to me right now, but my reads have increased a 100 fold tho so im enjoying it too.
i gotta ask more questions of hands and post more hands here too. just the only time i get to post is when in work and dont have HHs with me.

2. I play this slower. Flat call flop, raise turn probably.
3. I raise the flop, there are a lot of cards you don't want to see hit the turn, and if he 3-bets AI, you can find a fold. Turn is weird, do you think he's calling with hands you beat? TT or A9 maybe, if he thinks you're a big bluffer, but he has to fold missed overs here. If you think HE's a big bluffer and has missed overs here, why not call and let him try to hit his 6-outer on the river?
4. Re-raise a lot more pre-flop. 4x is my standard oop. Flop is good.
5. Ok, I guess. Scary river, but you have to call imo.
6. I'm probably c/c'ing the turn. As played, maybe folding to the turn raise and definitely folding the river. The turn minraise does not say AT, and you have the worst good hand on a really scary board.

Against this op, either lead or checkraise hand 2 I think. Give up on turn if called. I think check calling two streets here isn't great. River suckout again?

I sure can't call that river, and you didn't have odds on turn IMO.
I think you have to give up to the turn checkraise or push over it in hand 4. It's obvious he wants to go to showdown, and I don't think K5 will win it unless you get a diamond.
Not sure what you beat in hand 5 or what the push is accomplishing. This to me is a hand where you want to control the pot. Broadway boards suck to build a pot with when you have TPTK.....
Hand 6 is tough, and I probably call too. you aren't getting 3:1, and I think you are beat more than 25% of the time. I think you ran into rivered flush or str8. It would take discipline to fold this....

Actually these seem to be pretty much all my main hands.
Mentally im still ok but this stretch is a little tough for me, even saying that is a bit much really. just a tiny hint of the feeling i gotta study more. i usually get to read every morn b4 work but im so busy in work i gotta go work str8 away. i think i may just need a bit of revision on concepts mostly.

Im getting so frustrated right now that im not beginning sessions with my usual confidence. This is a feeling ive never really felt before, i usually pass it off and am able to just move on but 200NL 6max is hurting me. Im somewhere just below BE. I think players are playing back at me till i find they have the goods. Im sick of been floated when i dont have a crazy high c/c rate. AARGRGHH, i may of moved up to fast from 100NL and just am unable to deal with the pace or something (i dunno). i cannot blame variance. i think i gotta leave the game for a while and regroup. i dont like the fact i havent really study at all lately which i know is a huge leak. TOP here i come.

Im feeling positive again. I havent played cash since sunday. I played Taipan HU on Monday morning and won 3:0 on games, it was probably the first time I had a hell of alot of fun playing poker in awhile and i think its helped me get positive again. Ive read up on a few things on 2+2 that made me think abit more. if im in the mood ill take another swing at 200NL. god ive been around the 6.5K-7.2K mark for a long time it feels.
Also it could be important to go between different games sometimes i guess. Like maybe play a session of SNGs once a month or whatever or a few MTTs a month just to mix it up. I dont really figure Cash a real grind yet but stepping back from it has helpe (lol even if it was only 1-2 days off).
id love to trade HH with fellow 200NL 6max'ers and review each others. PM if interested.
played some last night for +$241. i played with focus and it paid off. i got back to basics and didnt get out of line tho i made some thin plays. Just feeling good at the moment, just wish work wasnt a pain at the minute.
The most important thing to remember in these stretches is that if you play correctly as much as possible, you will make a comeback. It is extremely discouraging to get your money in ahead and get drawn out on time after time, or to make stupid mistakes that you KNOW are mistakes. I have had many stretches where my BR fluctuates and trends down and it is mentally draining, for sure. For the longest time it seemed like I couldn't break the $5K barrier, then it was the $6K barrier. Now if I hadn't withdrawn it would be $8K in my roll.
Keeping your confidence is tough, but it is key!

I think i played but started to get frustrated tonight so im finishing up now. got stacked with KK vs AA so thats the main reason im down. I seem to end every session lately down 1 buyin which i guess tolerable enough.
i was thinking seriously (maybe tilting) for moving down to 100NL. i dont think ive truely adjusted to 6max yet but since ive the BR for 200NL and think im playing well enough then i should stay up and im not attached that much to whats at stake.
