How did you get your poker name?

Because after The Boondock Saints movie was shot I ran into the guys and they ordained me THEE BOONDOCK SAINT and said I was more boondock saint than they would ever be and they are under my command now !!!!!!!!

Actually, I've been homer on the internets forever. On the Eye Are See though, people will hax you for nicks. So I use homer- to avoid that problem. I met some card players (not poker, that other nerd game with cards) from IRC in real life and they called me homerdash. It's stuck since then.

original name.. "dirtyfrog_04" was in honour of me and some mates starting a record company to release our own cd, the company being "dirty frog records" ...if you think about this for more than 3 seconds you will see why i no longer use that name.

Big and rich - is from the country/rock band big and rich, and had some relevence to poker.

The Swan - is my states emblem, and is the old nickname of Anthony keidis (no longer in use)

Scott Owen - is the name of the bassist in The Living End

I used to be in the advertising business and a company asked me to come up with a name for their high-speed internet service. Started searching for short and sweet available dot com domain names while thinking about speed a la Star Trek and, voila, up popped "Warpe". The client didn't buy the name but I liked it so much I bought the domain and started using it as an online handle. I eventually let the domain lapse and it's now used by a tech company called Warp Enterprise (Trekkies are everywhere - but then they're tech geeks). It's probably not the greatest poker handle going but whatever...mebbe Winnipeg Slim?
Actually, Winnipeg is in the Red River Valley (yes, that Red River Valley) and my real name is Roy, so p'haps Red River Roy. Wadda ya think?
