i dont think luco bolds ong like that if he's a wolf. like what got me off the boog wagon, to make the case that luco is a wolf you have to believe that luco chose to stop a mislynch on a special in order to get a lynch on a wolf. he is a wolf some >0%, but it's a very tiny percentage. almost all the time somebody does what luco did, they're a villager
jkds is still my pick for sk.
rascal's rationale about how hoopy cant be wolf due to what he said about ong and dhubs is quite weak, because what hoopy said couldnt be reasonably thought to have any force behind it. it was more of a side comment. rascal is reaching for straws
hoopy's behavior around and bold of dhubs is very much in line with how wolves handle afk wolves. dhubs' last post was its face attacking bid and praising ong at a time when bid was the only person attacking ong. if anybody plays wolf on its face, it is probably the guy who opens games with "im a vanilla villager" every time he's a vanilla villager. mojo talked a lot about it but nobody cared, that this is the only game dhubs didnt call himself vanilla villager.
about rascal's claim, it's not a smart thing to do if he's angel. when monstr claimed it gave a wolf an extra dayvig
the hardclaim is absolutely something the wolf would do here, because it actually helps the wolf if the real angel claims. well, if the real angel claims and gets lynched. notice that rascal quickly said if another angel claims, that's the fake one
daven is not a bad choice nom/angel choice since he was the only virtually cleared player last night. everybody else has at least one other person who thinks he's wolfy
if the anti-claiming punishment gives the wolves some form of extra kill (i dont see why it wouldnt), it might be numerically better to completely ignore it
im not entirely sure yet, but it might actually be easier for the village to lose if we mislynch and then the wolves get two noms

I agree with all of that wuf, but the only way Rascal's claim is false is if 1) Daven is the angel, or 2) you are. Somebody protected somebody last night.
Ong got extra dayvig powers cuz thor revealed his name or role in thread. So lets not reveal roles. Wuf, do you have a power?
this is what ive been thinking about. its such an obvious situation for us to want to clear luco. he put the nail in the ong's coffin. if they were scheming the wolves might have come up with that lock situation. the daven lock status is from causes that cant be manufacturedQuote:

if gabe is a wolf, it means ong gave gabe and hoops a plan to absolutely kill him on d1. i do not think d1 reads like that happened. also i think ong would be excited to wolf with gabe. he plays lots of games, so i dont think any sort of burnout on wolfing would be the type where he thinks the best course of action is to have the wolves kill him d1. the kind of burnout i talked of earlier is much different, where it could have subtly influenced his keith rationale.
d1 reads like hoopy wanted to get on ong for hedge purposes, but wasnt incredibly interested in ong dying. if gabe was also a wolf, i think the wolves would have known ong was a goner and would have wanted to make a bigger show of it. instead, gabe was on ong the way a villager who is unsure but trying to do the right thing does, and ong spent the rest of the time playing rather normally, as if he didnt know his death was locked in stone

neither one has a great case for them but its better if rascal stays alive
day 1 for me was a no brainer. day 1 is the most boring day and im happy to take the easy lynches then

there is no way luco is a good lynch. the d1 ending scenario is so so so so hard to prep for, and even if it's prepped for, the calculus changes when monstr claims as special. besides, on the face, luco has played a much more villy game than dhubs/rascal

There were potential pitfalls built into the game for either villagers or wolves to claim a name.

the way i see it, the only two options for wolf are rascal and jkds

luco has the probability on his side. he has to be treated as confirmed
gabe is playing a game that would be incredibly hard to as a wolf. everything with him reads villy
the two non villagers need to raise their hand
also have to keep in mind that if anybody is gonna fakeclaim, it's a vet from a different forum. they do that shit all the time
we dont do it much, possibly because it almost never works

I didn't want to claim, but as I said when I did it. I didn't really see another option. From what I can tell, I'm the only PR villa left and me getting NK'd is always better than me getting mislynched.
With my role hard claimed when I die tonight, the villas will know I told the truth and will hopefully still get a win.
As I posted earlier today, the villa is in a tricky spot to win this and the game could possibly end tonight if we mislynch a villa.
