Having arrived at the graveyard a small ceremony was held, after which the final preparations were made to our transmitting hardware and lighting units. All went according to plan (at first) and the casket was lowered just after lunchtime April 15th, 2003. Cam tests were carried out at the site and the grave was sealed! We then set off back to our office in the heart of Seattle.
i dont care if its fake, thats still messed up
Their copywriter / editor is an idiot. They should know that something like this would be under intense scrutiny.
"2003" appears to be a typo. Today is May 20, 2005. This would mean the camera was attached two months ago (mid/late-March) and the coffin was lowered on April 15th, 2005.Quote:
Two months ago we attached the worlds first 'Live Coffin Cams' to the interior of our subjects' casket. ... All went according to plan (at first) and the casket was lowered just after lunchtime April 15th, 2003.
Regardless, this is a hoax. Right-click the image and view the properties. It's a single animated GIF image. True live webcam images are typically date and time-stamped and are constantly swapped JPGs. JPG images cannot be animated, which is why they are true "snapshots" that are updated every 10 seconds or whatever. They have an animated GIF to make it appear as if the image is being updated.
as an april fools joke, they should ahve the person inside start twitching and freaking out inside the coffin.
Here's an example of a true live webcam. This is in Hermosa Beach, CA... about a half-mile from where I live. I had lunch here today.
