did i have bad odds to call?

After 1-2 yrs playing SnGs exclusivly, im used to checking down when I dont have a made hand and someone else is allin pre-flop (due to the pointlessness of bluffing into a dry pot)
However I realise the situation is different in ring games. In hindsight, knowing i *would* call his flop allin, I guess i may aswell of made the all-in move.. or at least a juicy bet.
At the flop I had a flush draw to the King. I understand the 2-1 odds werent there to call a flush draw - but the gutshot draw + holding the overcards tempted me into it. This was a tricky one, and a play for a bit of a gambel.
What would you have done? Remember my flush draw was only to the king plus someone could have a made flush already.
