punish chasers

hey normally when i raise with a good hand and i get a good flop but there is a possibility of a flush or straight on turn i normally bet the pot or more to atleast get chasers out of the way :roll: ofcourse sometimes the are those who will chase anything all the way to hell and back but i found that this works most of the time especially if turn is garbage then i can now remove the gloves and deliver the KO to anyone who has any dreams of catching something on the river :twisted: do you guys do the same :?:
