Ah I love coronas. Whats funny is yesterday when I went skiing with my bro we stopped at a mcdonalds gas station combo thing and got our breakfast and their water had shit in it and he goes well im gonna go get a 40 what kind you want. And I was like dude you cant get a 40 and just drink it right here eating breakfast. And he was like why not lol and was actually going to drink a 40 of bud with his breakfast at McDonalds until he realized it probably wasnt legal. It may be legal but I highly doubt it.

Well where are you eating McD at? At McD or in your car or at a parking lot? Just depends on where you are eating it at. 40s inside McD illegal. Other than that you are set.

LOL!!!!!!! It was in the seats at the Mcdonalds/Gas Station. I know at Mcdonalds it would be but they were seats for the gas station too and since it had a license to sell alcohol I wasnt sure if you could legally drink it right there but I was pretty sure you couldnt.

Who said its not Xianti? There is no law against consuming alcohol in a parking lot or in a car. No one never mentioned the car was moving and such.

I just recommend to get rid of the bottle/can after drinking it. Open container when getting pulled over is a no no.

So to answer your question yes it is legal. Do I recommend it? No I dont because most parking lots are private drives and such. But sure why cant you drink while in your car as long as the bugger aint moving.

I don't neccessarily think you played it that badly. You're playing shorthanded, so I think you could justify calling a 7x bb raise with your big suited connector based on implied odds, as long as you're going to be able to get away from top pair. You flopped big to your hand (flush and gutshot draw), so I wouldn't lay it down there, even though he's overbetting the pot by a couple bucks. You're even money against virtually any hand you could be up against except AdKd, so I'd probably raise it up another $20 or so on a semibluff to force him to fold if he has overcards and put him to the test if he has an overpair (with that dangerous of a board he'll likely ditch even AA or KK if he's conservative). I'd be willing to call his all-in here too, because you'd be getting more than sufficient pot odds at this point, not to mention that you're going to have a willing-to-gamble image once the rest of the table sees this play, which is a good thing.

Given that you just called the flop, your roughly pot-sized bet on the turn when the king comes is a decent semibluff, since the K is a scare card for TT, JJ-QQ, and 9A, and he showed weakness by checking (and with that board, I'd think he'd bet to protect his hand with just about any legit hand he could have, even the top set he had). Once he raises you, you're already pot-committed enough to call with your 12 outs. I think I might just lean towards checking behind him here and seeing a free river so I don't have to face the possibility of committing almost half my stack on a 12-outer with one card to come.

I think my analysis of the hand was correct though. He thought he played the hand fishy because he was drunk, and he did somewhat (the preflop and flop call), but not especially.

In No-Limit, you have to be willing to gamble at times, and a big semibluff on a hand like this is the time to do it.

You still had correct odds to call, drunk or not. flush draw=9 outs+3 outs for the straight=12 outs total. well all you do is multiply the number of outs by the number of beers you had to get your real odds, so you actually had 60 outs. Sounds like you where the favorite!!!!! :lol:
