Does anyone know of a chart that lists the % chance that SOMEONE has a flopped flush if flop is all the same suit and a X number of players saw the flop?
This is how I play.
The flop comes 3 to a suit. What are the chances someone has a made flush? 50/50. Either they do or they don't.
Bet into it with top or 2nd pair and see if it gets raised. Get a read on the person. They will not slow play it unless they have A high, or sometimes K high. A flush is still vulerable.
Well I was bet INTO holding top two pair before my turn to act and the bet was 3x the pot/half of our stacks.
I had to figure out if he was protecting TPTK,twopair, set, small flush OR semibluffing with a A/K high flush draw OR not slowingplaying at all.
I have a thread in Hand Histories about this hand. I just wanted to see a chart and see what the stats say in terms of where I generally stood.
Code:Number of people with a flush (assuming you don't)
1 2 3 4 5
2 0.04348 X X X X
3 0.08696 0.00129 X X X
4 0.13043 0.00772 0.00002 X X
5 0.17391 0.01544 0.00054 0.00000 X
6 0.21739 0.02574 0.00135 0.00002 0.00000
7 0.26087 0.03861 0.00269 0.00006 0.00000
8 0.30435 0.05405 0.00471 0.00014 0.00000
9 0.34783 0.07207 0.00753 0.00029 0.00000
I did this in excel. It might be right. First column is number of people in the hand. So, if YOU have the flush, then shift one colum over to the right and divide by .04 (or more precisely, the 2/1 column, .04348).
And yes, those "0.00000" are actually like 10e-07
Cool.
