yah i know it was loose i was somewhat on tilt but aside from the preflop idiocy

Putting aside the pre flop call, i think you played this hand well. You had your opp beat until the river, and he never showed any kind of strength so it seemed as though you had the best hand. The hard thing about this getting a read on this hand is that your facing a very passive player, he never even re-raised you when he hit his straight. IMO you played it well, just my .02

you played it well. I would play that hand from the small blind. I woulda never put him a straight. But think about it. What would he have had to call your $3 re-raise? AJ? KJ? KK? AA? QQ? or 33? Its hard to lay it down, but if you sit and think, you shoulda checked then folded on the river.

yeah i guess thats true but he didnt show any signs of strength and even if he did have PP that didnt make a set i still had him beat but i guess i didnt count on him chasing his strait to the river like that but i guess its somewhat logical...
