So its $.5 to me, whats the play here?

There is $5.75 in the pot there. BB REraised PF, so unless you have reason to believe he's very loose/aggressive, he probably has a hand - AK, pocket pair, something.

Your Jacks are probably beat - unless he reraised on Ts or 9s-, and you have no draw.

On the plus side, you are getting about 13:1 on your money, and on a $1 limit table, the other guy will probably call as well. Bad news: you are ~23:1 against to get a 3rd J on the turn. You have the Jd, so you could catch running diamonds (another 20:1)... BUT it's not the nuts.

Fold, unless the guy is a bad/impulsive player

Raise unless the pre-flop 3-bet is from a known passive player.

There is a player behind you and no reason to think you're beat just because the 3-better bet out on the flop. A raise gives you information about the player acting after you and you can see if you get 3-bet. If you get 3-bet consider folding a non-jack non-diamond turn. Otherwise, I'm looking to check behind unimproved.

Having 20/20 hindsight, i probably should have raised, like you said Fnord, to see where i stood, but i folded it. My thinking was a pre-flop re-raise, and a bet from first position after the flop, he probably flopped trips paried a king, or had a higher pocket pair, which would have made me a huge dog. Unfortunately the guy behind me folded too, so i dont know what the first one had. My friend was watching me play at the time, and gave me a hard time for folding, i just wanted to see what you guys thought about it. Thanks for the imput

I would almost read the initial bet from that player to be a probe, perhaps with TT or 99 or even JJ(unlikely), to see where he stood. I too would have raised unless I was certain he held a K.

Fold the turn if it's 3-bet or he bets out again on the turn when you don't improve. Consider a possible bet/raise-bluff on the turn if the player only calls, is tight-weak, and might think you have aces or AK (if he's holding KQ or KJ, and is the type of player that would put you on a hand).
