party nl 25$ 6max
you think a good player can make $12-15/hr consistently playing here? i think that's pushin it....with only 6 players it's going to be high risk high reward, so you'll be swinging all over the place.Quote:

if you can place ITM 50% of the time playing sngs, 10+1 will bring a profit around this.
and as for what type of game, try them all and see what you do best. personally i play limit and sngs. i don't like the big swings in NL ring, so i still away from that to avoid going on tilt.
I agree with Allinlife. If you can adapt your play to counter the furiously loose play of the 6max monster you can make 15 bucks an hour. You do need to be prepared for some bad beats (Just today, Queens to Q9suited and Aces to KQ suited.) But if you make them pay big prices to draw (which they will gladly play) you can clean up at 6max. Though i would not suggest multitabling at it.

If you're not a winning player with a solid track record, no game will yeild that kind of result...
So, in 2000 hands of .50/1.0 (100 of 1/2), I am up rougly 12BB/100 hands, which is, shall we say, improbable.
I think actually I am not the only one on FTR cleaning up LL party.
I KNOW I am not that good - in fact, I am way in the red in 'real' poker, NL tournies.
Am I that lucky? I have won 7.68% of the hands I was dealt - that actually seems worse than average (9-10 player tables, I could theoretically win ~10%)
Here are the rest of my stats:
zenbitz Called 418 bets (13.05 %)
zenbitz Raised 297 bets (9.28 %)
zenbitz ReRaised 297 bets (9.28 %)
zenbitz made 405 Bets (12.65 %)
zenbitz has the following PT aggression level 1.679
zenbitz has the following (488 / 2162) V$IP 22.57 %

zenbitz Folded 1546 hands out of 2162 (71.51 %)
zenbitz Saw 547 flops (25.30 %)
zenbitz made 210 pre-flop raises
zenbitz was all-in 0 times (0.00 %)
zenbitz won 166 hands (7.68 %)
zenbitz paid $173.50 blinds $240.25 bet $243.50 call $338.00 raise
zenbitz Money In: $1085.50 Money Out: $1356.62 Profit(loss): $271.12 $12.54/100

zenbitz was RATED: Aggressive (2162 hands)
If I have been lucky, and I'm not sure either way, it's been in bad beats. I certainly remember a few - but against calling stations you should get a bad beat maybe 1 in 4 or 1 in 5. If someone tells me precisly how to defin it, I will calculate.
Is party poker cheating FOR me? I think we can eliminate this possibility. Probably if any of you guys with 20000 hands played checked the stats you would know for sure of any deviations, and could bust them wide open.
That leaves the following explanation: The .50/1 tables at Party are SO loose, that you can make >10BB/100 hands there.
very true - "solid track record" being at least 5000 - 10000 hands (many would argue more). assuming you are a winning player:Quote:

10BB (big bets = 2xbig blind in poker tracker for no limit)/100 hands in no limit seems to be the consensus of playing solidly (see the many 2+2 discussions regarding this).
so, play two tables of $25 no limit (big blind = $.50) for ~150 hands per hour and you've got your ~$15/hour.
You can clear this in SnGs with a 40% ITM rate and a 35%ish ROI. You need to play single $30 SnGs or double $20 SnGs. Single table SnGs tend to last 1-hourQuote:
