Ring Games Table Selection: 6 Players or 10 Players?

I understand that most people tend to choose 10 players over 6 players. However, don't other people find the 10 player tables to be too slow? Also, am I correct in believing that if you're playing against 5 others that you see more hands per hour. Isn't this a good thing? Thanks in advance for your insight.

A lot of people here will multi-table. That makes up for any loss they would have by not seeing as many hands.

shorthanded tables tend to attract better players as well. if you're a loose aggressive player then shorthanded tables are perfect for you. otherwise you'll make more money playing tight aggressive on full tables.

I'd disagree if you are talking PP, SH tables have some of the worst players i've ever seen.

You're second point is spot on as it reduces the mistakes you are making in full games by playing too many hands.
