So what do we think of this hospital bombing situation?
Were this an episode of Homeland, it would be Afghan intelligence sabotaging the U.S. by telling them to bomb a hospital. In the real world it's just the the bumbling U.S. military at it again. It's pretty telling that no one has replied to this thread yet. We're just numb to it, there's nothing they can really do that will make anyone angry anymore. No one will ever answer for it. I mean, Russian-backed forces shot down a fucking 767 with 300 civilians on board and nothing will even be done about that. And everyone hates Russia. Imagine how much more untouchable the U.S. is here when they just kill a few doctors and patients.
We're not numb to it. People say that a lot, but its not true. People would just rather netflix and chill than try and start something.
I both pay taxes to the US gov't and donate to MSF, so I was doubly affected by this tragedy.
Fortunately, all that caring canceled itself out.
I like how the Relationship/Money Question thread got 10x more attention than this one inside of like 24 hours.
Also, I don't think this was an accident. Apparently they succeeded in killing a few baddies along with plenty of innocent patients and doctors.Quote:

I can't say I trust America to be honest about these things.
