I have a netgear a6200 wireless card and an asus RT-N66U router. I can't get my internal network speeds over 144Mbps.
Any ideas why? I don't really know what I'm doing. I've tried messing with the frequency (currently have 20/40 for 2.4 and 40 for 5).
I've started to analyze all the wireless networks in my apartment building that show up and there are a lot of channel 6 g and n signals (like 4 others). My 2.4 is currently channel 6. Could this be an issue?
Also, I haven't figured out how to get connects to the 5 ghz channel 157 and 161.
I also think my flux capacitor is low on fuel. I need some plutonium.

Sigh. Any recs on something not too expensive that can harness the router?
