Over-rep, or let the BTN get ideas?

Both button and SB are complete unknowns.

Not sure whether to cold 4bet here, which over-reps my hand a lot and leaves me in a sick spot if someone comes over the top, or just flat.

The problem I have with flatting, is that the SB made it kind of small, and it leaves plenty of room for the BTN to read me as weak because I just flatted, and 4-bet bluff at it. Particularly because the SB can't really like much of anything being stuck between the BTN and me, so unless he's AA/KK he can't really like any of his options if the BTN 4bets it.

If I do flat and the button does come over the top, then SB folds, what's the plan?

I always assume anybody that cold calls a 3bet with the original raiser left to act 100bb deep or so is making a mistake. I think we just cap ourselves at AK/AQ/QQ/JJ when we do it and therefore make life easy for our opponents. I know a lot of better players than I that will disagree however.

I think the only exception might be if we're nutted and the open raiser is a maniac.

Fold it and save u 4 bb, the 3bettors range is too stong ITS.

If the SB is 3betting somewhere in the 15-20% area, we are doing pretty well flatting those hands you listed.

Yeah, this is what I don't get about ISillyDurrr's post - and I'm accused of being a nit here sometimes! Fold ????? FOLD ?????

M2M - if you're going to flat JJ here against an unknown BTN and unknown SB, are you shipping if the BTN comes back over the top, or folding?

I guess my thinking is that I'm going to be cold 4bet bluffing pretty wide in this spot as we can expect two folds ~70% of the time, so I'm going to want some value hands in there as well. On reflection, I think this will end up with me getting it in when I'm crushed too often however, particularly when a wide button opener and wide sb restealer will 5bet so rarely here (since they'll perceive me as never bluffing at the low/micro stakes).

In terms of equity though, even a hand like 66 is doing well versus a wide restealer - I'm assuming you wouldn't advocate cold calling in that spot?
