NL10, please critique 2 hands

Both hands are from HU matches. In the first hand, I've been playing Villain for about an hour and we're both about 200bb deep. He's fairly aggressive and I've caught him bluffing a few times. When he has bluffed, he's bet pot. I've shown him a bluff where I checked the flop, bet turn when a FD was out and bet 3/4 pot on the river when the flush got there. Up until this point, I have never donked into him.

At this point I thought it was more likely he had a better Ace because I've seen him play draws passively a few times.

I shoved to get him off a better ace, 2 pair or a set.

Looking back I'm not happy with this play because a lot of things got there on the turn despite my 2 pair. And I think I got too excited when I rivered 2 pair and didn't consider what I'm getting value from.

What do you think?

After playing around with some ranges for hand #2 I guess it doesn't look as bad as I thought assuming I'm giving him a somewhat decent range per street. Any criticism welcome

Hand 1:

I don't like the big bluff. First off, he's barreling into a flush board. So there's a real possibility he has a flush and of course he wouldn't fold that.

In general, big bluffs at the micros are a bad idea since many people don't know to or just won't fold good-looking small hands. I'd be very surprised if villain ever folds a set, even on a four flush board.

A better way to bluff is to make small one-street bluffs, and mix it up between floating, donking, check/raising, etc. And of course you have to simply give up sometimes or he'll never give you any credit.

If you really think villain is trying to run you over with stupid aggression, then close your eyes and call him down with TPGK like you have here.

But since he raised the flop and potted the turn, he looks really strong. I'd have to think a bit on the turn if one pair was good or not. If he bluff raised the flop, or was on a draw, you'd expect him to slow down on the turn, but he clearly wants to stack off. So one pair is probably not good.

Hand 2:

Calling preflop with Q7o is somewhat marginal. There are reverse implied odds from being dominated. Remember you need a better hand to call than you do to raise. Are you ahead of his range? Maybe, maybe not, but folding Q7o preflop, even in a HU match, is a reasonable option. IMO folding >> 3betting > calling.

Postflop is a little similar to hand 1. Most people do not play one pair hands bet/bet/bet but they'd pot control the turn or check back the river, that kind of thing. What's your read on him? Was he triple barreling all the time? If so, then call him down. Otherwise, you have to think about what he could be doing this for value with that you beat, and consider bailing out on the turn or river.

River raises are a little tricky because you don't want to make a raise that only gets called by better. That's value-cutting yourself. Again, given what's already happened in the match, think about what hands he could have here. If he goes all the way with top pair, then by all means raise. If he only triple barrels a big hand, then raising is bad.

Regardless, please convert hands so they are easier to read. You will get better comments if you do this.

hand 1 is terrible
hand 2 might be fine id prolly just call river but i might well be looosing value.

i also hate posts with more than 1 unrelated hands
