2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BTN raises to $4.84 and is all-in, 2 folds, Hero ??

Just a quick one. Am I always crushed here? It's such a weird play on villain's part that it makes me think I'm rarely crushed here. In my experience the vast majority of villains 3b smaller with QQ+. Thoughts?

Not by default, you can set up a hotkey for it yourself though.

Def not a snap call at these stakes. Without more info an easy fold.

Especially with the rake being so high at micros, this becomes more of a fold.

I agree that villain is unlikely to be shoving with AA/KK and probably not doing so with QQ either. I am guessing he has 77-JJ, AJ+. Based on the information provided, I call TT+, AK here. I think folding here is a pretty big mistake without a strong read.

A couple of questions though.

What is your steal percentage? Or have you stolen a bunch of hands in a row on this table?
Has button lost a big pot recently or been caught in a bluff?

is this his only 3b size? 9.1% 3b is high enough for us to know more have you got any reason to think hes steaming or spazzing out?

It's depends of player against you play, but in many cases I go fold with JJ is someone go all-in before me, because maybe he have AA,KK or QQ. Also I watched some poker videos of how to play on 9 max SnG and it says if you hold JJ and somebody before you make a big raise or go all-in you should fold.

9man SNG strat is completely different to ring game strat. In some circumstances its correct to fold AA in a SNG preflop , that never applies at ring games.

Any reason to believe he's tilting (has he lost a big hand in the last hand or two or maybe three)?

Has he done this before, or have his 3bs been reasonably sized?

Barring any good reason for him to do this with anything other than premiums, I'd fold, but the above are the most common good reasons I can think of.

Not much swayed by the high 3b%, unless he's been doing this or something like this before. He probably recognizes that people notice he's reraising a lot and thinks this is a good way to trap with premiums. Even him being Spanish wouldn't sway me for the same reason.

I had no indication he was tilting.
This was the first time he'd done this sort of thing as far as I had seen.

My steal % is usually around 35-40%. I'm usually really active OTB and in the CO and though I don't remember if I had raised a bunch of times in a row I'm assuming he perceives me as stealy.


General consensus seems to be this is a fold until we see him do this kind of thing a couple more times, more information needed.

I think a fold is fine, it wont cost you any more than you already have invested. But by calling you will be printing some long term money. I would more need a read than the villain open shoves QQ+ before I consider a fold. This is always a snap-call for me.. JJ is a huge hand 6-handed, no?

Would you be folding AK here? Because JJ is basically the same hand equity wise, with JJ actually doing better.
