1) I'm checking, I don't think we get value from anything we beat.

2) I'm checking, don't think we get value from anything we beat bar maybe the odd weaker PP but I'd assume that his range is weighted more towards hands we beat and we don't really benefit from getting him to fold his worse and call his better imo. He could have easily taken a stab at the pot to take it down on the flop and then has given up. If I was going go bet here I'd probably be doing it with my crap hands and good hands.

I'd probably be betting bigger otf, like 60c.

3) I dunno, I'd probably bet like $1 as we have blockers for the straight draw and can rep Ax pretty well. Any two pair he may have had we now beat too bar KQ. Folding to a reraise w/ no reads.

4) Checking for obvious reasons.

5) I'm check/calling. Betting just gets him to fold a lot and we hate a raise without reads.

I'd be betting bigger on the turn though, like 55c I think.

Hand 4) You could probably bet something like 1/4-1/2 pot. It's really unlikely that he's going to check a J given the action.

In hand one you can get value from flush draws and worse 6x hands which should be in BB's range against an UTG minraise.

In hand 2 I don't mind a check now that it's not 1 AM b/c I imagine people aren't necessarily betting Kx again on the turn b/c they're scared of playing big pots with 1 pair

Hand 3 ~$1.10, his range is capped w/ his turn check, it's a spot where it's very tough for him to have a better hand than us as everything but super junky Ax hands are typically betting turn, and those hands might. Plus with another Ace hitting on the end it removes a good % of those combos. I like to say it's a tough spot for our opponent to have a hand good enough to call with on the end, but it's so unlikely he has a better hand we should just bet and let him decide if he wants to call with Tx or w/e.

Hand 4 ~$.55

Hand 5 ~$1.25, won't be shocked to get jammed on. I would have bet slightly larger on turn though, like $.55-$.60.

Are there enough flush draws and 6x to compensate for the Qx and 77-TT that will also be calling?

Hand 1:
We're behind his calling range.

Hand 2:
I'm gonna say it's close, but probably everyone else will call that nitty and say it's a clear vbet. So I would probably listen to them.

Hand 3:
There's very clear value to be had here, and bluff catching is silly because almost his entire range is pair+. He's gonna make far more mistakes if we bet then if we try to tempt him to bluff.

Hand 4:
B/f. We get bluffed off the best hand sometimes, but there's too much value here to pass up on.

Hand 5:
Raise preflop, bet flop harder, bet turn harder, and easy peezy bet the river.

For the record in hand 5 I was expecting aggression from BB, hence the lack of a raise pre and the sizing on the flop.
And the word 'thin' shouldn't have been in the title, this post is really about sizing on the river.

Re-spenda's posts:

Hand 1 - The turn is certainly the place to bet if we're going for two streets here. Since we flatted pre and bet into a 3-way pot on the flop, I don't think it's gonna take villain much to fold. Then again, maybe that makes it all the better because he's more likely to fold 77-JJ, whereas he might tag along with pair+draw hands (65s/55/44) or flush draws. Regardless, as played, I don't think your bet/check/bet line is gonna get called up very light at all.

Hand 2 - Betting the turn is best here too, as we're gonna see a lot of calls from Ax. Unfortunately, there's only one PSB left, which makes b/f'ing a little awkward.

Hand 3- 1.10 seems good. If we go much bigger, it's gonna look a lot like missed value. If we go much smaller, it's like "why would anyone do that as a bluff in this spot?"

Hand 4 - $0.55 seems perfect. Just wanna make it look like we didn't think too much about it, and that's pretty much the exact amount people bet when they didn't put much thought into it.


Hand 5 - 1.25 seems well enough. On the larger side of 3/4 seems about right.

1) i would ponder TT, Jx, this is too weak
2) meh BB is donking four way, just take the showdown. If I'm betting it would be the turn.
3) check and re-eval.. maybe call or fold pending sizing, I don't mind b/f if he's not the type to pot control turns
4) for sure value bet, 0.55
5) $1.30 and fold to raise, he's not folding a flush
