Not really sure what my plan should be postflop here with regards to overall line, as well as betsizing. On the flop there was $31 in the pot with $86 behind. Should I tend towards betting small here for 3 streets with my range ($10 [1/3] -> $25 [1/2] -> $51 [1/2]) or lean towards a bit larger over 2 streets ($23 -> $63)?

Even on such a turn card, I don't feel like I'm getting folds often enough to shove, which makes me unsure about a flop cbet.

Preflop, I don't tend to 3bet EP opens all that frequently, especially from the blinds. Opting usually to flat the majority of the time, since it seems like our value range should be rather narrow. I'm not really sure if that's a poor line of thinking or not.

How is my line postflop? Does he just always have 66/44/ATs when he shoves turn?

Hand 1 - I like the bluff, especially after his sizing. I wouldn't have even minded it on a non-heart river.

Hand 2 - The flop is SO dry. I would bet $10-12 on flop, and size turn for a bit less than pot on river.

Hand 3 - Easy b/c. If I'm flatting pre I usually just c/c down and protect my c/c range. I feel like I'm not really c/r bluffing utg openers cbets all that much from the blinds, so I don't need to necessarily have AK in my c/r range.

Hand 4 - His flop raise is high. I would probably jam river. Feel like a fishy type might convince themselves to c/c a smaller bet on river with like KQ or something.

Yeah I like that sizing plan. I went a bit large on the flop.

Do you think we should be barreling this turn and shoving the river in this spot with AQ? Do you expect him to call flop, and fold turn with 99-QQ often enough for a turn barrel to be profitable? I feel like if I go a bit smaller on the flop, that's a possibility. But if I get called on the turn, I feel like he would have Kx or better and not plan on folding often enough to shove river the times we miss.

Yeah, I typically do check/call the flop here w/ AK for the same reasons you stated. However, I felt like this villain was too likely to only go for 2 streets of value with AQ/AJ and not bluff that often if I check/call, especially if a flush hits, and figured it's a board where my value range is rather small that he could think I'm FOS and either stack off or call down.

What range do you expect to be shipping turn here?

There is ~$72 effective on the river. Do you still like overbet shoving here?

On the turn, is it a clear call? Wasn't sure if raising turn was possibly better than calling, and bluffing a checked river.

My sucky thoughts.
1. I honestly wouldn't have thought of shoving there. It looks interesting. Are we sure we need to bluff though? Looks he cbets f+t+r a lot (60%+).
2. I rr to $11 usually. On turn I continue betting $38, maybe less.
3. I rr pre and fold this on the turn.
4. Itching to raise turn but he's not going to fold anyway. I take a stab here, big enough that he doesn't call for the odds, like $42.

1) I think we should probably either fold or shove. I'm not sure calling is a good idea. He's unlikely to valuebet 3 streets with many worse, and while he barrels often, he certainly has some JJ-KK/Ax in his range here. All of which, I think he probably folds to a shove.
