Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping?
That's an odd question...
As a serious reply, I find it hard to shut down after a full session of MTTs. Even if it's really late and I'm really tired I always need to play a game/watch TV/read a book before I can actually sleep. Any one else the same?
yeeees. big difficulty in speeling after a night full of poker.
Anyway, if i watch tv or not before i go to sleep, in my mind are a lot of hands. how i could played better respectiv hand etc.
I always wind down before I go to bed, doesn't matter what I've done during the day. I could never play a day of poker and then go to bed right after.
I always have trouble getting to sleep,
I also have trouble waking up.
I have to wind down before even attempting sleep. Even so, sometimes when I've played far too many hands and tables that night, I will still be playing in my dreams and feeling my mouse finger pulsating with every decision.
I also find it hard to wake up the next morning, even if the session didn't run late. I guess effectively "working" for a couple of hours or so in the evening after a full day at civvy work is going to take its toll eventually (and my complexion is always shocking after too many hours of poker too).
Depends on how much I lost or won... cause if i lose big or win big... i find it hard to sleep especially when I won big :) cause I keep thinking what I'll do with the money on the next day...
my latest trick is Law and Order CI. It is not very good but keeps my attention in the beginning, but less and less until the end, so there is a great chance I will drift off.
Depends on the stakes and how excited I was. Melatonin helps with sleep though.
You should watch something terribly boring after a pokersession , so boring that it want to makes you sleep immediately!
