He just disconnected again when they were going to start the hand
Longest poker hand in history. Still waiting over 30 minutes. Lee took too long yapping when he reconnected that they lost him again.
Funniest thing we all know he is going to push anyways so why dont PS push him allin PF
And if PS showed they had control to do that, could you imagine the amount of people saying PS controlled their shove or fold?
damn son
yeah the one time I played in a milestone hand, I open folded the button heads up due to confusion/lack of awareness lol.
Go easy on me. Back then it was nowhere near as clear as the screenshot above indicates. I think there was just some random stuff in chat that I wasn't paying attention to and just 'routinely' folded some crap like 52o.
here's a good rule of thumb to live by for those who play online poker and post on forums: never pay attention to the chat box, and never read any stickies or announcements
I should have been there in his place, I wouldn't have disconnected, lol
how much was rewarded to everyone?
Bout treefiddy
10-12K and about $22K to the winner
from pokerstars blogjoking aside , I bet the other players would have been getting pissed off sitting there waiting, what if they had been on lunch break, lectures to get to etc.In a normal hand it wouldn't ben paused for that long for him to sit back in and if he sits out everyone else has a better chance of winnng. Have to feel for the guy who had the eventual winner dominated QJ vs J4 , paired the flop and got rivered with a straight.Quote:
Getting it in on hand #95,000,000,000
The initial surprise and excitement turned into high drama as Hungarian player MenFedlak disconnected, just about the same time as Lee Jones appeared to congratulate and explain what was taking place. A few minutes and some desperate phone calls later, MenFedlak's connection kicked back in. But not for long. The connection went again.
The errant player was given some time, then some time more. And then longer still as a 30-minute window was provided for Hungarian Internet service providers to sort their house out or, if not, surely more than enough time for MenFedlak to get to a friend's house? Apparently not. Still, $10,240 for free isn't too bad when you bought in for $16.
Aside from MenFedlak, all the money quickly went in.
Too much extra time was given to the disconnected player imo. 100% Because of how it negatively affects the other players at the table, some of the best ways were described by Keith.
does he get nothing if they don't wait for him, or does he only lose his shot at the win bonus?
he was dealt in and folded, all the others shoved so he lost his shot at the extra 10kish. he won something like $10240 which probably means he was sat out a fair bit before hand as well.
He must have been sat in to be dealt in. Yeah agree half an hour is a bit much, ten minutes would suffice, but I doubt those waiting for him cared all that much, bearing in mind they're already $10k up for the day. It would be funny if he folded a 4 though.
Yeah see if he was dealt in and thus gets the $10k and just loses his shot at the extra $10k then I don't see waiting for him at all, fuck that noise. inb4 everyone just starts 24 tabling 24 hours a day sitting out and back in to ship milestone mannies.
This is what they do. I had to play on Euro FR tables for an hour leading up to this hand because there were actually no available tables. Milestone hands were coming every 10-15 minutes
yes please complain more about getting to play on PokerStars
