10nl AKo in MP TPTK on paired flop face c/r

CO: 22/16/2 over 170 reg
BU: 26/18/3 over 900 calls pfr's wide on btn(30%) , prone to spazz from time to time,, and likes to c/r, or raise cbets w/ draws and weak made hands along w/ nutted stuff. Ftocbet=33, raiseFlcbet=12%. Though i expect him to be prety honest in this spot
BB: 17/13/4 over 850, this guy showed up a month ago @ 4nl, and moved up about the same time i did. he's competent TAG. In 59 oppurtunities he's never tried to squeeze, but his 3betSteal is 7% in BB. he's c/r'd 12%(2/17). this is the first time vs. me.

Since he doesn't appear to squeeze. should we consider him having his normal 3b range as his flatting range multi-way, or is my sample not big enough yet to make that kind of adjustment on him?

I wasn't really sure what to do here cause other than quads, K9s and maybe AA, i'm we're ahead of the rest of his range OTF.

4-handed to the flop... I can find a fold here.

I bet 4x + 1 pre flop for obv reasons. I'm tighter than they are from all positions and I play well post flop. Also, if they're calling with drawing hands, I make their implied odds lower right from the start.

Also, I'd bet more than 1/2 PSB on the flop. The problem is that you bet small, and you got raised and you don't know where you are. If you bet big here and get raised, it's an easy fold.

On the bright side, if you fold here, you lost about 1/2 as much as I would have.

Being the 4th guy in pre widens BBs range somewhat through implied odds. It's a fold here.

You would also find it harder to play against 3-bets well with the sizing you are recommending here.

In general, at Bovada 10NL, a 3-bet from a deep stack means { QQ+,AK }, and not always QQ. A 3-bet from a SS usually means { 88+,AJ+,KQ }. Given my frequent checking of hole cards after the fact, the exceptions to these rules are actually pretty slim. Everyone is capable of a 3-bet bluff, but not often, really.

That said, playing against 3-bets is lol obv for me right now.

The exception that I didn't note is that when it is folded to me on the BTN, I raise 3x ~41% of the time and fold the rest. Blind battles are not uncommon, and b/c IP is easier with a 3x open. So I guess I see your point, and have adjusted where it counts. ;)

Nothing about any of the described villains makes me want to open bigger. Nothing about described villain makes me want to call his flop raise now.
Does anyone want to discuss bet sizing for this flop with a range. I don't like b/f bigger than half pot here and don't really like betting more than half with any hands in my range. I'd like to know if I'm wrong.

I'm def w/ kick on the opening. maybe 4x in ep. I just really haven't made that adjustment.

I do open smaller my LP. i just don't like varying my sizing from all POS's @10nl. their are just too many fish , and ok/bad players that take it as a hand strength.

Anyway, no one really commented on my question from the OP. About this villains lack of squeezing. does this put AA,KK,QQ in his flatting range multi-way?

In short, he's only had 59 opportunities to squeeze and it's very possible he hasn't had QQ+ during those 59 hands so no, I wouldn't say that means he's flatting them here. Less likely multiway/oop.

Really hate folding flop but that doesn't mean it isn't right.

Yeah I hated the fold here and is why I posed it.

I know this guy knows this too, and their are def bluffs in his range here. I mean he raises pot, that only has to work 50% as a bluff right?

How does that come out when thinking about re-raising him here if we made it pot? how often does it need to work?
