[5NL] QQ in SB...facing UTG raise and CO 3bet

UTG - Only 3 hands on villain so nothing to go on whatsoever.

CO - 10/8 through 53 hands. Not much info, nothing out of the ordinary just super nitty.

UTG raises to $0.25, fold, CO raises to $0.75, fold, Hero ???

OK so what do we think is best here?

I think it's damn near impossible to put UTG on a range, although a 5x raise might tell us a little something about the strength of his hand? Possibly 44-JJ, KK+, ATs+, KJs+, QJs, AJo+, KQo.

CO - I feel this is much easier. Has played super nitty with this being his first 3bet and doing it over a big UTG raise surely means he has me crushed? I put him on KK+/AKs/AKo....if I am talking myself into a shove possibly throw in JJ/TT, AQs, AQo at the absolute bottom of his range.

Thoughts?

I'm okay with folding against the super nit 3bet and the fact we aren't closing the action (particularly with the UTG open so large). Calling leaves us vulnerable without reads on UTG and if we 4bet and get it in here, we aren't going to be in good shape.

If CO was looser, I'd 4-bet.

I would fold too. Calling OOP is awful, and I don't see how a 4-bet would be advantageous in this position.

maybe these two villains have history , and the nit knows utg does this w/ like 33-66, but we obv don't know.

What would you do w/ AKs here cobra?

I would have an easier decision folding that than the QQ that's for sure.

Can you show a viable range which QQ has more equity against than AKs?

I just think that AK is such an overvalued hand. It's two high cards, it's not even a pair. Usually you are looking at a coin flip ( slightly behind ) anytime you get your money in with AK and I just don't think that's a winning play.

Sorry that was just my personal opinion on AK as a hand.

I am not really sure how to do that? Do I just put in random flops?

Pick a range, or even two specific hole cards. Run AK against it, then run QQ against the same range. Report results.

OK thank you, I think I need some lessons on Pokerstove, don't think I am using it properly at all haha

You can either type it in manually or click on the Player names (Player 1, Player 2, etc) and then click on each hand there.

Then click evaluate.

I don't know why you'd post your opinion about a hand being overvalued when you don't even know it's equity against other ranges. You have no basis to decide it's overvalued. On the other hand, run the math then make a decision and I'll bother to listen to that one ;)
