4nl JJ in mp vs. UTG

Villain is 27/22/7 cbfl=68% , cbT= 59% , LAG/TAGgy he is currently beating 10nl on cake pretty well +$1,500. I don't know why he's playing 4nl , but he's always on I have about 1000 hands on him.

I flat pre because despite him being ltaggy, he's opening 9% utg: 22+,AJs+,KJs+,QJs,AQo+,KQo .

I'm just not sure what else to do but station him down. He's def capable of DB'ing his whole range. River card sucks, but not enough to fold to right?

I can't think of much we beat. I think I'd fold not many folks would bluff this river and we surly don't beat anything in his value range.

What do we think of a 3bet pre?

I might raise that flop as well...if he is opening 9% I don't think that flop hits his range very well.

As played - I fold river.

I agree with Cobra, and I like 3-betting pre too.

5 handed against a 27/22 even with those UTG stats I'm 3betting, not folding pre either

I agree, I don't mind putting myself in this spot vs. this guy right now either. While im learning , and he's not a fish. so he's generally not taking a nonsensical line against me.

I know there will be spots down the road I'll need to balance my range and flat stuff like this.. Better to know now what to do

Raising Flop Pros: i.Getting him to fold AK,AQ,KQ, any hand that can improve when we station down. This kinda goes along w/ the first part . but when we raise we get to use Fold equity, where when we call down we're slaves to equity.
ii. raising helps get more money in the pot, thereby making the spr smaller and more suited to this situation

Cons: we then run the risk of being raised , in which case we aren't in very good shape vs. that range.

Raising the turn: Where OTF he may have folded hands we already beat, Now that the flush came there is a small chance we can get him to fold some better hands too.

So what are we assuming he's double barreling here? I mean his cbet% isn't crazy and it's 3 handed and his UTG raising range is tight as shit. Maybe I'm just overly scared.

I also think OP's range is too loose just to nitpick. And I wouldn't 3bet pre here.

Just want to point out that assuming this is a 6-handed table, Villain isn't in the typical UTG position, so watch out using stats like that.

well, this is interesting, i would say my river range is fairly similar to bikes, to be quite honest I prob wouldn't have put 98hh in mine, and given lines i might say 99 also, if anythung just to have it in our range when villain bluffs w/ a naked As on the river..
