4nl(shallow) ATo on BU vs. BBnit

Villain is 9/6 3b= 0% cb= 50% over 70 hands donkfl'/BB=3/3

I don't usually run into nits donking flops so much, and I just wanted to get some opinions on how-to counter it.

Maybe his thinking is: He knows I'm wide opening the BU and knows I'm cbeting my entire range here, and Donking the flop defines my range depending on how I con't.....???

or am I over-leveling him??

I'm thinking he's donking tpgk, AJ,QJ. not sets though.

He's donked the flop on every one of his big blinds?
What I would do (not advice for you to do) is raise the flop to like $0.93 and shove any turn.

It's not unusual for people who play 9/6 to be "I play my cards" types; i.e. they're not very aware of how others play. He's obviously tight, which suggests that when he donks, he usually has something. You can't let him do this forever and keep folding, but this flop does connect decently with his likely pre-flop calling range, so I'd be inclined to wait for a better spot to play back at him.

He's not thinking much at all. He's 9/6 and donk bets a ton. To me, that doesn't seem like a good, thinking strategy.

I would not do what shotglass suggests as stacks are too shallow. How often does he bet turn? I think it's close between calling and just folding flop. If we call, we're doing so thinking he donks flop with PP and will check turn with them creating a very imbalanced range.

He's 9/6. He waits for good hands and bets them. Easy fold/easy game.

Ok, so this guy's a big nit who may have a propensity towards donking loads. How many hands does a nit flat out the BB that hit this flop well? Not many. Think he might just be donking wide here as he hits tp or better so rarely on this texture and has donked lots before. If this is so, you can probably give yourself a really great price on a bluff raise (2.5xish) to fold out his random pocket pairs etc and then just give up with these stack sizes if called. If I hadn't seem him donk bet constantly thus far, I'd be snap folding.

I think in general we are exploiting the fuck out of this nit by folding when he wants to play with all but the best holdings and stealing his blinds like a mother chucker. But his donking perpencity also seems rediculously exploitable too. I think I would float the flop IP cos he can't really just keep barrelling his crap so we can take it away on the turn kinda cheap. Plus we get to realise our equity more often vs the good hands in villains range than we do when we raise and get jammed on.

3/3 is still a hell of a lot for me to believe he's just a nit that plays fit or fold. It might be the case, but seems unlikely. Actually now I think about it the chances of him actually continuing on the turn if he is light on the flop are redic low so yeah calling is better than small raising which is better than folding imo.

Raise is the worst play i guess. You could call and re-evaluate in turn or fold flop

i'd fold this time. i certainly don't hate a raise and i would be looking to start semi-bluff (and i mean like an overcard and BDFD) raising his flop donks soon. but i'll probably let this one pass and keep an eye on his donk-betting behaviour for the rest of the session. not just in hands vs me either.

Yes i most certainly did keep an eye, though it turned out to be a short stint.

a couple hands later he ra'd in sb , and was 3b . he called donked the flop w/ TT on 6JT flop, he got stacked set over set bb had JJ, but still interesting . but set or not I guarantee he's donking the flo w/ TT
