is this really a fold?

this hand has been bugging me the past couple days, its really a spot where i dont know what to do. The villian is a typical decent player, who hasnt got out of line or shown any big weaknesses in his game. I have been playing tight, havent got out of line, busted a 3/4 stack first orbit when he limped UTG, it called to me on BTN i called with PP and got stacks in on flop vs. his overpair. only hand ive showndown i believe. im going to give you a look at my thought process throughout the hand so i can get some feedback on that aswell.so here is the hand: Its on bovado so no "offical" hand history

$5 NLH 6-max

I am SB with Ad Ks($6.64)

Folds to me I raise 3x, BB times.. calls(6.67)
*im thinking while hes timing that its probably close between raising and calling..or hes multitabling..discount premiums..

Flop comes Kd 3s Qd
*two-tone drawy board, c-bet for value

I bet 0.25 into a pot of .30

Villain raises to 1.05.

to me this is tough, i think he 3bets ,TT+,AQ+, probably AJs and maybe ATs as well. so he flats with 22-99, any suited broadway without and ace, any off suit broadway without a ace, AT-AJo,J9s,A9-A2s,and probably a few s.c. type hands, say 67-T9s. thats wide enough that i can c-bet for value on this board. Plus i can continue alot of turns with the Ace of diamonds in my hand. NOW, i get raised. shit. im getting 2 to 1, i need 33% to call, i got this...or do i? dammit *TIME* (take care of other 3 tables) Combos!, whats his range? Q3-K3? nah too tight for them rags, KQ is the only 2 pair hand, KK-QQ he 3bets, 33 - possible, JT-AT-J9-T9 of diamonds very possible, wait i have Ace of diamonds shit scratch that..ten seconds shits flashing...ahh his range is [KQ,33,JTdd,J9dd,T9dd] he has draws in there ..2 Seconds...shove that shit... lol sad face.. :( ughh!! WTF!! lajdlkfaj;djkfajdskjf;l!!

is this really a clear fold on the flop? we cant profitably call if he never really has air in his range. 3-bet/fold to shove? i cant really see 3betting here either as it doesnt get better to fold, it get small value from combo draws but thats very little, and if he does have air he will likely fold to a 3bet. i guess fold is best play then.. just weird to bet/fold Top top on draw heavy board with nut blocker. maybe my raising range for villian is off, im done ranting lets hear what you guys got.

Ugh. I'm prolly not folding but I feel we're way behind villains entire range. I think folding shows major discipline.

5NL you open to 3x and get called, so on the flop, how is there only .30 in the pot?

Also, you 3/4 stacked someone, so how come your stack is 6.64? Seems like it should be more like 8.50?

Cuz its blind vs. Blind. And 3x is 0.15 . My raise + his call = 0.30

Because I lost a few pots in-between? ?

Ok my turn, why are you focusing on irrelevant things?, wouldn't it make more sense to give your opinion on what I was asking opinions for? Not being a dick, just seems like your asking the wrong questions.

Yea that's kind of how i felt, would you just call in this spot though? This is where i have the most trouble is planning future streets after a given action..

Call and re-evaluate turn. With us having the Ad he has less FDs in his range then we'd like. But since we do have the Ad we have some equity and we don't have to worry so much about giving him odds. And like bikes said it is bvb so there's merit to that.

I'm really not happy about raising flop because at that point stacks are going in for sure after that. If we call and check turn (no d obv) I think we can fold there depending on his sizing, like if he gets shove happy or something.

I shove and get called by Kx or Qx all the time.

These are spots that I normally shove, watch my whole stack go across the table and then hit the bottle :drunk:

My bad on the pot size.
As for the other, the obvious answer is as you say - that you lost a few pots, and it had to be by folding since you had only shown down 1 hand.

This might be relevant because of what the villain has seen. You've put money into a number of pots then subsequently folded. You don't say how many times, but it doesn't seem unreasonable that he might figure you for someone who folds a lot to aggression.

No fold i thnk...the way you are thinkink is the correct so only Kq or 33 beat you. You win a lot of hands and a lot of draws but is difficult fold in that spot

chances are he probably is looking at top pair of kings probably with a slightly worse kicker maybe hes sitting KJ. If you re raise in this situation hes going to either fold his bluff, call you asking to see a turn indicating he is either on a draw or doesnt have KQ, or shove. If he makes the shove just get out of their. If he simply calls and say a not draw heavy card hits then u can make a large re raise to attempt to take the pot or check the turn and let him bet into you. So your best option seems like a re raise to me in this situation
