[2NL] Flushed on River?

Villain had played under 20 hands. He was 32/21 and cbet the flop 100% of the time ( 3/3 ) and cbet turn ( 2/2 ). That is all I have on him as he was very aggressive and didn't make it to one showdown.

Surely flushed me? I know I should have bet bigger on flop, prob more around the 0.10 mark. Should I have bet bigger on turn? Should I be calling hoping he shoving with a big missed hand, AK/AQ for e.g?

Bigger turn would probably be fine. I'd probably be b/f bigger on the river too.

Be careful making this type of call preflop too often, SB is the worst position at the table and you want to avoid playing hands there. If we were BB here I think it's ok as we have good pot odds and lose less on average calling than we do folding, assuming we play ok postflop.

This guy is going to cbet if we check so don't lead, with this hand getting raised sucks.

Fold river, he's not bluffing enough to call.

What, so as played on the turn, you'd c/c or c/r?

As played to turn I'd c/r. The lead otf, followed by a quick check ott might be enough to get him to continue his aggressive tendencies (2/2 turn cbet) and bet into me. If we lead he's liable to only call again and I want to set up a river shove which won't happen without a raise somewhere.

I wouldnt mind the turn donk when the preflop raise was a 'proper' one or from an EP raisor opening 3/4 bbs who you would expect to be holding a big pair/air here etc

However given this hand and preflop seems obvious to c/r the turn.

Having said all that - fold preflop. You only need to play hands against 2nl players that fit or fold - and while fit or fold isnt the best way to play long term, if you are struggling to get the basics right its an easy place to start.

What do you mean by fit or fold?

Do we not worry about losing value if we check the turn?

1st part- fit or fold should be in the FTR dictionary

2nd part- normally, yes. Here we are making a choise to deviate from optimal play in order to build a pot by exploiting his 100% cbet tendency.

You lead flop to get value from the fish, and you do it bigger than hero did. We don't expect opener to c-bet into 3, the board being fairly wet we get value from draws and fish will call with plenty worse. The raiser has missed overs way more often than he has overpairs (see: combinatorics)

I'm calling vs described villain. If he has a flush, why is he shoving? He has a boat with 66 or fuck all imo.
