Looking for thoughts on the best lines.

26/23 over 50 hands 2/4 cbet, 2/3 fold to 3bet

2 folds, Button bets $0.25, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.15

I don't think 3betting preflop is that great, but it it might be more +EV than calling? Would rather have this in my B range in this spot.

Flop: ($0.55) 8:club:, 3:club:, Q:heart: (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $0.27

Decision time, I'm not sure if c/r and stack off is best here. Another option is to c/c and continue on almost every turn. Leading could be interesting but it's something I rarely do with this type of hand.

Either bet/call it off or check/jam? Can't see folding on such a dry flop.

hand 1- i would chk/shove, looks bluffy could get looked up light. TT+,FDs

hand 2 - bet/?, check/? haha these spots are tricky for me, they always have the damn J. i would just shove. checking gives him free cards, and betting 2/3 pot leaves villian with 1/2PSB on turn which is a WTF spot if we dont bink and he flats.

H1 c/c flop and see turn. take it from there

H2 c/f flop , dont bet cause you have no FE and when he bets you rarely are in front for you to c/jam.
dont 3bet/call pre. 3bet/fold pre, cause even short he needs to 4bet shove a very wide range for you to even breakeven w/ AQo.

Hand 1 is kingdom time - if I am writing a $6 cheque so be it.

Hand 2 I would check - I dont think 10NL will jump all over this and expect them to check behind worse lots.

I'm not going to fold if he jams, only need 40% equity to call. Vs a random 40BB stack 3 handed I'm never folding AQ here.

for you to have 40% and just breakeven you need him to 4betshove 99+/AJ+ and that's a wide range even for a SS, that's 6.3% of the hands. and w/ that range you are 0EV or slight +EV w/ a huge variance and w/o other reads then just the fact he is a SS that minraises his BTN your assumption that he 4bets shove so wide is wrong.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree here. I'm assuming a 40BB short stack at 10NL is bad until proven otherwise, and he can be shoving wide here given it's 3 handed. Assuming he ships 22+/AJ+ as standard.

guess you're right, it's a thing on how you see your opponent. i am assuming a player is ok w/ his play until proven otherwise.

i feel more comfortable playing this way.

i dont know tho how to see which case is better +EV, considering a villain is bad or good until proven otherwise, but as long as we can adjust vs them when we get the info we need to establish that i guess is just a matter of choice and the wins/losses we get until then cant be that big to influence the balance in the favor or one or other choice.
