6 max vs. FR
I normally play FR but sometimes there are only like 3 or 4 tables on the merge network SO i have been playing some 6 max. I am not great at this game and seem to call down to often with second best hands. But i have noticed in 6 max people play looser and more aggresive so my second best hand are now best. Am I just on a heater or is 6 max better for me? Flame away!!

I switched from FR to 6m because I just couldn't believe how tight the regs ranges actually were and I would pay them off way too much. So instead of plugging this leak, I switched to 6m, where this leak wasn't nearly as much of a problem, if one at all where ranges are wider.
Doesn't work for everyone. some people overadjust and level themselves too much.

I switched to 6m a while ago on cake for the same reasons. I'd def consider yourself on a heater until proven otherwise. Variance seems to be greater, prolly due to the fact that we're playing more hands against looser ranges. If you're not used to dealing with 6buy+ swings then you should brace yourself for it.
As far as the American market goes right now I think 6m is the best game right now. Beware of regs with agg stats and high 3bet%. These guys seem to own me because I always think they're full of shit, and they probably are, but mixing it up with them too much can get pricey really quick.
What stakes are you playing? Maybe post some stats?

FR is lower variance for the microbonk imo but it's boring as hell.

No, that sums it up pretty accurately.

6max will force you to learn how to defend your blinds or you'll get fucking eaten
