mistakes galore hand vs fish: time to fold?

villains are 31/5 large sample 26/18 small sample respectively
honestly just giving up on flop as villains continue to often and Im oop. I dont think I will be able to win the hand often.
turn I didnt really think about what I was doing when I bet. knowing villains rarely have a K as I think they bet flop when I check, they could definatly have diamonds or gutshots, I think I shouldve bet a little more. slowplayed 9s are definatly a possibility. I called the raise without thinking again, sad face.
river thinking about his value range I'm splitting at best, as villain wasnt at all aggro I thought a fold was the right play. stop making my earlier mistakes worse, correct play given the info?

Turn could be a tiny bit bigger but it's not a huge issue. I'm not going to fold to a mini-raise on the turn. He can probably do this with any ace, a 9 obviously, and maybe something dumb from time to time. Also, he has a full stack and there are still aces left in the deck. On the river it's tough when he is a passive player. I can fold to even a 75% bet here fairly easy. Against a half pot I probably just call to chop a lot and lose sometimes to a 9. Fold certainly isn't terrible though.

What was your thought process on not c-betting that flop besides "just giving up"?

Seniors please advice on this flop. Its a very common situation for me as well.

I usually C-bet flop .30 cents. If there is a raise then fold. If flatted, then bet the turn and river as well unless raised. I have lost a lot of money in such spots.

What is the best way to play OOP on a missed flop?

okay first im not assuming Im right here. I'm giving up on the flop as I feel my opponents wide ranges will continue correctly only things worse than what I have without draws is gonna fold and the draws are doing well vs my 1 over and 1 diamond, I dont think they fold a pair on this board vs 2 loose fish oop i feel i'm beat too often. If the flop gets chked and i hit the turn with either of my cards I think I have the best hand often enough to make a few small bets.
