99 hand, pretty easy fold. Every range connects with JTTss board. We're in bad shape against his range as we are behind some of his draws.

hand 1) your bet sizing sucks. it sucks even more in the light of hand #3, where the board is practically the same, but you have a better hand. do you always choose to bet smaller when you have better hands? hand 1 is an easy 1/2 pot bet for a couple reasons - 1) in this case, youre bluffing with your muffin, so itll save you the largest amount of money when your opp hits. 2) it represents a really big hand. its like shouting to your opponent that you want first and foremost to keep them in a growing pot. the cool thing is that you can easily balance this with your total bluffs, and make $$$. keep in mind that there are just so many different hands that hit this flop, that you can generally just 1/2 pot the flop, and then re-evaluate on the turn, where you should generally valuehouse, because when you make bigger bets on the turn with your nut-type hands, your opp will be making a much bigger mistake by calling

hand 2) csb.

hand 3) bet sizing sucks again, and you have spewy postflop leaks. it would be really helpful here if you had any reads at all on opp besides his stats. against a station, id say go closer to pot size bet on this flop, because there are just so many hands that will pay you off. did i ever mention that notes on opp would be great here? he c/cs the flop oop. what kind of range do you put him on here? Turn play is awful. you get minraised on a dangerous flop, and you decide to put your stack in. oh, my bad, you didnt just get minraised, you got CHECKminraised.

after seeing these hands, my notes on your opp say "slowplays/minr nutty hands, passive station with mid holdings"

my notes on you say "inverse strong weak bet sizing tell, plays hyperagg to weak aggression"


but if you REALLY want to get good at poker, you need to fix your biggest leak in this post, namely "but it appears 2b broken" thats gonna end up costing you a lot.

jj is a fold even for the price and so is the 99s AA is what can you do you've gotta expect to be beat enough on this board but still fine. stick it out you'll own this fag, your card edge should be enough to value town the fuck out of this guy, remember he's super passive 80(i wanna play)/0(we haven't seen a flop yet) so fold to his aggression. cant you move seat get in position isolate all of his limps till he's broke? i wouldn't leave till this guy is crying into his soup

the 99 hand i would b/f flop , c/f turn broadways/spades and b/f for 2/3 brick turns

a psb on that flop vs that villains is ok, his calling range has any KQ,K9,Q9,89,78, every possible flush draw and sometimes smaller PP. this is a lot of worse hand combos that call us so betting here is never wrong.you cant check the flop with 99 vs this opp.

when he raises , see baudib post cause it explained perfect.

the AA hand , flop raise aint bad, but turn i would c/f 100%.

if we bet we cant fold to a shove or if we c/c we cant fold any river cause we are pot comitted and there is very little that we beat on this turn. he has every possible T, 89,J9,J8, J7,78,77,88,99 and this is a lot of combos . sometimes you will fold the best hand, but i think c/f this turn even vs this opp is +EV and b/c or c/c is -EV

the JJ hand is just like 99, b/f flop, b/f this turn.

last year in november, when i was thinking i am somekind of poker god, someone from FTR gave me an advice after i wrote something similar.
this year in september, i think i am a poker donk and i feel bad cause i cant give you the same advice.

Thank for all your comments and taking the time to type. Im going to have to read and re-read the replies until I absorb everything, Its a bit of a shock to find my bet sizing and post flop is so shit.

10-4 captain. i was just giving my 2 cents, given my current understanding of strategy. i figured worst case scenario, it sparks discussion about how what i think to be the right strategy in these spots is wrong. in which case, everybody profits.

FWIW my biggest leak is also when weaktight appears to be broken, so celtic don't worry about it, i'm still able to get on with my life.
