6 FH combos and one quad. does he ever shove QdQx and some other bluffs here to make it a call? we have like 3.5:1 pott odd

Actually think this is a fold, probably closer to a call with QTdd because he could have AdKx type hands.

i did fold, thought about it then and after and i think vs a guy like this i am always folding here. thing is , i became obsesed by the thought of being bluffed in spots like this by the regs. i dont have a winning history on 25nl and because of that i think that sometimes i put them on too tight ranges when i have 2nd, 3rd nuts.

if people made fewer huge bet-sizing errors on earlier streets then about half the hand histories posted here wouldn't be here..

obviously way bigger on flop, turn is interesting - at least you have an out vs quads

oh, and villain has 77 very rarely (about never) if your read is right - AKs/KK/JJ/AA/KJs. He beats KJ, which basically means he has AA+. I guess a fold is the right thing to do, pretty tough though.

when he bet's the flop with MP loose fish in the pot, my range for him is pretty strong KK,JJ,AK,77, AxQd and that's pretty much all.his stats and the fact he wasnt out of line so far makes me think this in a good range for him.

i just minraised him to keep all his sets in since nothing else from his range calls me with . when i raise here he can only put me on 77,KJs and flushes, nothing else.he has to call 3,25 in 15 so that's 5-6:1 pot odds and he only has 9-10:1 (6 outs) to hit the turn for his FH . i were to bet bigger i dont think he would have called me and i would got no more value and just win the 10$ in the pot.

is my thinking wrong here?

I don't think its wrong, but I like a larger raise on the flop imo. U have the nuts, why not put as much in the the pot as you can while you have the best hand?

He has 6 combos of better, maube not even that depending how often he 3 bets JJ. Just because he's tight pre doesn't mean he doesn't have AA/AK here, think he certainly can have and also will be inclined to check boats to you on this turn card a lot. Folding has to be bad.

I thought I was the biggest station around here. Back when I played poker, I'd call here vs. this player and get shown KK like 90% of the time. I hate paying this guy off.

Personally I don't think that a villain with his stats squeezes to 4x after a min raise and a caller with KK. Could be wrong.

question: why did you not iso the megafish preflop?

@d0zer: i didnt raise the MP fish cause he spews a lot on A flop w/ air, underpairs, A pair low kicker, but he is a lot more careful when gets a preflop raise.

i see a lot of people i respect and consider a lot better players then me that say to call , i cant say you are wrong from obvious reasons but i am convinced yet that i should call here always vs this guy.
i know that a standard play would be to check here a boat and let hero bet and shove him cause he cant fold giving stacks or c/c and let hero get his 4th diamond by river, i also think that he may shove AA (3 combos) here since he sees my range on flop as 77/KJ/flushes, and now on paired 7 turn he beats my KJ and he can discount 77 from my range so he could find a reason to shove AA on that board vs my KJ(12 combos) and flushes ( 13 reasonable flush combos that i might have) plus probably some Adx draws. i am intrigued why he didnt 3bet shove river if he put's me on that kind of range, also his ATS 15% made me think he is not positional aware and so he is not able to make a shove based on ranges and board , just that he is playing his hole cards.

so, i can find at least 3 combos that give me enough equity to call this, but i am not sure yet i should call. maybe it's just that i am not confident enough in my 25nl game.

if your plan is to limp, flop an A and then have him spew to you then I think you need a better plan for extracting money from megafish.

never doubted the fact that i am still below 1% of poker knowledge , if not even lower:)
