Maybe they don't feel comfortable playing deepstacked.
Or they just want to quit while they are ahead.
Yeah you see fish hit & run all the time. I think some of them were just waiting to win that last pot to give themselves permission to go to bed or something.
Try not to let it tilt you. it happens a lot
the only times you will see me do this are:
A - when i'm big blind next hand and i was planning to quit next BB anyway
B - if i took the pot from a fish who quit and the table conditions post-fish are pretty un-favourable (for example, two deep-stacked, highly competent regs to my left)

I had a moneybox ratholer like that once. While 20-50bb tables on Pstars were in. Chinese shortstack, super predictable. Steals wide from SB, BU and CO by raising for 3BB. A minimal 3bet was enough to make him fold or jam. And he folded like 80-90% of time. Big profits. I always joined tables and took position on him. Took him more then a week to catch on. Then he left any table as soon as I joined anywhere. :mrgreen:

I actually have problems playing with more money on the table. I seam to be a much looser player when i have more money then when i dont have any at all. By playing deep into a table, i find myself more likely to force action. Because of this, I usually leave tables once I double my buy in. I know its just a temporary fix for my problem, but it actually helps my overall progression in bankroll.

I've noticed midstakes HU regs do something similar. They would go play lowstakes FR and just donk around in the worst way possible in the hopes that someone would look them up and follow them to their HU table.
